Na antičkom arheološkom lokalitetu Danilo kod Šibenika, ispod današnje crkve, otkriveni su ostaci rimskog hrama. Stručnjaci iz Hrvatske i Poljske kažu da je riječ o jednom od najvećih arheoloških otkrića do sada u Hrvatskoj. 

Pronađen je i prag ulaznih vrata u hram, a arheolozi daleku prošlost rekonstruiraju s pomoću najsuvremenije tehnologije.

Na jednom od najvažnijih lokaliteta u Hrvata pod zemljom su istraživači otkrili dio masivne kamene građevine, izvještava HRT.

- Za koju mi smatramo vrlo vjerojatno da je ulaz hrama. Pitanje koliko tamo dalje u profilu sonde još ima tih blokova, rekao je Toni Brajković, viši kustos Muzeja grada Šibenika.

A "izronila" su tri iz dubokih slojeva zemlje. Da su ondje, arheolozi su znali i prije nego što su počeli kopati. 

Na tome hvala, novim tehnologijama. Georadarskim očima "pogled" seže do 4 metara pod zemljom.

Tražilo se četiri godine

Tražio se hram četiri godine: "skeniralo" Danilo. Povratak u povijest: uz svetog Danijela!

Napokon je pronađen nedostajući element rimskog grada!

- Imamo rimske terme, po našem mišljenju, ostatke foruma, nedostajao je samo hram, kazao je prof. dr. sc. Fabian Welc, direktor Instituta za arheologiju Sveučilišta "Kardinal Stefan Wyszynski", Varšava.

Združenim snagama pokušava struka utvrditi fizionomiju grada osnovanog u Danilskom polju. Danas, grada pod zemljom!

- Za sada ne možemo puno reći o tom kraju rimskoga grada. Međutim, evidentno je da je taj hram razgrađen i kroz stoljeća je kamenje korišteno i za neke druge svrhe, pa možda i ugrađeno u današnju crkvu sv. Danijela, istaknula je za HRT Ana Konestra, s Instituta za arheologiju iz Zagreba.

Istraživanja počela 60-ih

Prva, pak, istraživanja Danilskog polja počela su 60-ih.

Nalazi govore da je nastanjeno u kontinuitetu već sedam i pol tisućljeća.

- Ovaj lokalitet je prevažan za naš kraj u svim razdobljima. Znači od neolita pa do u kasni srednji vijek. Pogotovo u vrijeme antike u vrijeme Rima kad je ovdje grad antički Rider koji je živio bogatim životom, objasnio je Željko Krnčević, ravnatelj Muzeja grada Šibenika.

Vidljivi dokazi povijesti već golicaju maštu.

Istraživanje "skrivenog" rimskog dijela Danila nastavit će se, nagodinu.

Na antičkom arheološkom lokalitetu Danilo kod Šibenika, ispod današnje crkve, otkriveni su ostaci rimskog hrama. Stručnjaci iz Hrvatske i Poljske kažu da je riječ o jednom od najvećih arheoloških otkrića do sada u Hrvatskoj. 

Pronađen je i prag ulaznih vrata u hram, a arheolozi daleku prošlost rekonstruiraju s pomoću najsuvremenije tehnologije.

Na jednom od najvažnijih lokaliteta u Hrvata pod zemljom su istraživači otkrili dio masivne kamene građevine, izvještava HRT.

- Za koju mi smatramo vrlo vjerojatno da je ulaz hrama. Pitanje koliko tamo dalje u profilu sonde još ima tih blokova, rekao je Toni Brajković, viši kustos Muzeja grada Šibenika.

A "izronila" su tri iz dubokih slojeva zemlje. Da su ondje, arheolozi su znali i prije nego što su počeli kopati. 

Na tome hvala, novim tehnologijama. Georadarskim očima "pogled" seže do 4 metara pod zemljom.

Tražilo se četiri godine

Tražio se hram četiri godine: "skeniralo" Danilo. Povratak u povijest: uz svetog Danijela!

Napokon je pronađen nedostajući element rimskog grada!

- Imamo rimske terme, po našem mišljenju, ostatke foruma, nedostajao je samo hram, kazao je prof. dr. sc. Fabian Welc, direktor Instituta za arheologiju Sveučilišta "Kardinal Stefan Wyszynski", Varšava.

Združenim snagama pokušava struka utvrditi fizionomiju grada osnovanog u Danilskom polju. Danas, grada pod zemljom!

- Za sada ne možemo puno reći o tom kraju rimskoga grada. Međutim, evidentno je da je taj hram razgrađen i kroz stoljeća je kamenje korišteno i za neke druge svrhe, pa možda i ugrađeno u današnju crkvu sv. Danijela, istaknula je za HRT Ana Konestra, s Instituta za arheologiju iz Zagreba.

Istraživanja počela 60-ih

Prva, pak, istraživanja Danilskog polja počela su 60-ih.

Nalazi govore da je nastanjeno u kontinuitetu već sedam i pol tisućljeća.

- Ovaj lokalitet je prevažan za naš kraj u svim razdobljima. Znači od neolita pa do u kasni srednji vijek. Pogotovo u vrijeme antike u vrijeme Rima kad je ovdje grad antički Rider koji je živio bogatim životom, objasnio je Željko Krnčević, ravnatelj Muzeja grada Šibenika.

Vidljivi dokazi povijesti već golicaju maštu.

Istraživanje "skrivenog" rimskog dijela Danila nastavit će se, nagodinu.

Na antičkom arheološkom lokalitetu Danilo kod Šibenika, ispod današnje crkve, otkriveni su ostaci rimskog hrama. Stručnjaci iz Hrvatske i Poljske kažu da je riječ o jednom od najvećih arheoloških otkrića do sada u Hrvatskoj. 

Pronađen je i prag ulaznih vrata u hram, a arheolozi daleku prošlost rekonstruiraju s pomoću najsuvremenije tehnologije.

Na jednom od najvažnijih lokaliteta u Hrvata pod zemljom su istraživači otkrili dio masivne kamene građevine, izvještava HRT.

- Za koju mi smatramo vrlo vjerojatno da je ulaz hrama. Pitanje koliko tamo dalje u profilu sonde još ima tih blokova, rekao je Toni Brajković, viši kustos Muzeja grada Šibenika.

A "izronila" su tri iz dubokih slojeva zemlje. Da su ondje, arheolozi su znali i prije nego što su počeli kopati. 

Na tome hvala, novim tehnologijama. Georadarskim očima "pogled" seže do 4 metara pod zemljom.

Tražilo se četiri godine

Tražio se hram četiri godine: "skeniralo" Danilo. Povratak u povijest: uz svetog Danijela!

Napokon je pronađen nedostajući element rimskog grada!

- Imamo rimske terme, po našem mišljenju, ostatke foruma, nedostajao je samo hram, kazao je prof. dr. sc. Fabian Welc, direktor Instituta za arheologiju Sveučilišta "Kardinal Stefan Wyszynski", Varšava.

Združenim snagama pokušava struka utvrditi fizionomiju grada osnovanog u Danilskom polju. Danas, grada pod zemljom!

- Za sada ne možemo puno reći o tom kraju rimskoga grada. Međutim, evidentno je da je taj hram razgrađen i kroz stoljeća je kamenje korišteno i za neke druge svrhe, pa možda i ugrađeno u današnju crkvu sv. Danijela, istaknula je za HRT Ana Konestra, s Instituta za arheologiju iz Zagreba.

Istraživanja počela 60-ih

Prva, pak, istraživanja Danilskog polja počela su 60-ih.

Nalazi govore da je nastanjeno u kontinuitetu već sedam i pol tisućljeća.
