Kampanja pošumljavanja požarišta Dalmacije - Boranka, s novih je dvjestotinjak volontera nastavljena  i ove subote pošumljavanjem požarišta u splitskom naselju Donje Sitno.

Ove subote, volonterima iz Splita pridružili su se i stranci okupljeni u inicijativi „My Hidden Croatia“ koju vodi Australka Robyn Vulinovich. Inicijativa okuplja strane državljane, uglavnom s engleskog govornog područja, koji žive u Splitu i okolici. U Boranku su se uključili još lani, od kada aktivno sudjeluju u svim akcijama pošumljavanja. Tako su ove subote na Boranki bili Australci, Britanci, ali i dvije obitelji iz Republike Južne Afrike.

- U ime naše inicijative željela bih se najsrdačnije zahvaliti ekipi Boranke što su nam pružili priliku da sudjelujemo u ovoj divnoj akciji i pomognemo u pošumljavanju područja oko Splita koja su teško stradala u požarima.  Nama je priroda od izuzetnog značaja i vidimo da izviđači i svi ostali koji sudjeluju u Boranki na najbolji mogući način služe svojoj zajednici.  Bili smo oduševljeni danas vidjevši toliko mladih ljudi i roditelja s djecom koji su svi zajedno došli pomoći u obnovi šuma. Sadeći sadnice i sjeme, istovremeno su puno naučili i o važnosti šuma i zaštiti okoliša – izjavila je Vulinovich.

Uz strane goste, ovu su subotu u akciji pošumljavanja sudjelovali splitski izviđači iz Odreda izviđača pomoraca „Jadran“ kao domaćini, zatim izviđači iz Odreda izviđača „Trogir“, učenici V. gimnazije „Vladimir Nazor“ iz Splita, učenici Prirodoslovne škole Split, zaposlenici tvrtki Henkel, DM i L'Occitane, volonteri Gradskog društva crvenog križa Grada Splita i drugi građani. 

Ovo je ukupno 26. akcija pošumljavanja u kampanji Boranka koja je počela još 2018. godine, a u međuvremenu prerasla u najveću volontersku akciju pošumljavanja požarišta na razini čitave Europe.

Izviđači, kao inicijatori i nositelji ove popularne kampanje, već 4. godinu zaredom organiziraju svaku akciju Boranke, a svake godine u akcijama pošumljavanja sudjeluje i Renata Orhanović, mlada izviđačka voditeljica iz Odreda izviđača pomoraca „Jadran“ iz Splita:

- Dobro se sjećam kada je strašan požar progutao šumu ovog područja i ugrozio ljude.  Bilo je grozno to promatrati, a još gore vidjeti posljedice.  Ljudi se često prema prirodi ponašaju kao da ne ovise o njoj i svojim ju postupcima ugrožavaju. Izviđač sam, volim prirodu i stvarno bih željela jednoga dana sa svojom djecom prošetati ovom šumom koju sada sadimo i uživati u njoj.  Zato sam ovdje svake godine i tako ću i nastaviti – kazala je.

Organizatori Boranke su Savez izviđača Hrvatske, Hrvatske šume, Hrvatska gorska služba spašavanja i Splitski skautski zbor. U organizaciji pomažu i Ravnateljstvo civilne zaštite, Grad Split, Gradsko društvo Crvenog križa grada Splita te brojni partneri i sponzori. Glavni sponzori ovogodišnje Boranke, simbolično nazvani Glavni PoBORitelji, su Raiffeisen banka, Radenska Adriatic, Henkel i FINA.

Kampanja pošumljavanja požarišta Dalmacije - Boranka, s novih je dvjestotinjak volontera nastavljena  i ove subote pošumljavanjem požarišta u splitskom naselju Donje Sitno.

Ove subote, volonterima iz Splita pridružili su se i stranci okupljeni u inicijativi „My Hidden Croatia“ koju vodi Australka Robyn Vulinovich. Inicijativa okuplja strane državljane, uglavnom s engleskog govornog područja, koji žive u Splitu i okolici. U Boranku su se uključili još lani, od kada aktivno sudjeluju u svim akcijama pošumljavanja. Tako su ove subote na Boranki bili Australci, Britanci, ali i dvije obitelji iz Republike Južne Afrike.

- U ime naše inicijative željela bih se najsrdačnije zahvaliti ekipi Boranke što su nam pružili priliku da sudjelujemo u ovoj divnoj akciji i pomognemo u pošumljavanju područja oko Splita koja su teško stradala u požarima.  Nama je priroda od izuzetnog značaja i vidimo da izviđači i svi ostali koji sudjeluju u Boranki na najbolji mogući način služe svojoj zajednici.  Bili smo oduševljeni danas vidjevši toliko mladih ljudi i roditelja s djecom koji su svi zajedno došli pomoći u obnovi šuma. Sadeći sadnice i sjeme, istovremeno su puno naučili i o važnosti šuma i zaštiti okoliša – izjavila je Vulinovich.

Uz strane goste, ovu su subotu u akciji pošumljavanja sudjelovali splitski izviđači iz Odreda izviđača pomoraca „Jadran“ kao domaćini, zatim izviđači iz Odreda izviđača „Trogir“, učenici V. gimnazije „Vladimir Nazor“ iz Splita, učenici Prirodoslovne škole Split, zaposlenici tvrtki Henkel, DM i L'Occitane, volonteri Gradskog društva crvenog križa Grada Splita i drugi građani. 

Ovo je ukupno 26. akcija pošumljavanja u kampanji Boranka koja je počela još 2018. godine, a u međuvremenu prerasla u najveću volontersku akciju pošumljavanja požarišta na razini čitave Europe.

Izviđači, kao inicijatori i nositelji ove popularne kampanje, već 4. godinu zaredom organiziraju svaku akciju Boranke, a svake godine u akcijama pošumljavanja sudjeluje i Renata Orhanović, mlada izviđačka voditeljica iz Odreda izviđača pomoraca „Jadran“ iz Splita:

- Dobro se sjećam kada je strašan požar progutao šumu ovog područja i ugrozio ljude.  Bilo je grozno to promatrati, a još gore vidjeti posljedice.  Ljudi se često prema prirodi ponašaju kao da ne ovise o njoj i svojim ju postupcima ugrožavaju. Izviđač sam, volim prirodu i stvarno bih željela jednoga dana sa svojom djecom prošetati ovom šumom koju sada sadimo i uživati u njoj.  Zato sam ovdje svake godine i tako ću i nastaviti – kazala je.

Organizatori Boranke su Savez izviđača Hrvatske, Hrvatske šume, Hrvatska gorska služba spašavanja i Splitski skautski zbor. U organizaciji pomažu i Ravnateljstvo civilne zaštite, Grad Split, Gradsko društvo Crvenog križa grada Splita te brojni partneri i sponzori. Glavni sponzori ovogodišnje Boranke, simbolično nazvani Glavni PoBORitelji, su Raiffeisen banka, Radenska Adriatic, Henkel i FINA.
