Savez izviđača Hrvatske, Hrvatske šume i Hrvatska gorska služba spašavanja, kao glavni organizatori kampanje Boranka, u suradnji s Gradom Splitom, Splitskim skautskim zborom i Ravnateljstvom civilne zaštite, održali su ovog vikenda na Mosoru 33. po redu akciju pošumljavanja požarišta Dalmacije.

Mladost i veselje, ali i volonterski rad, obilježili su i ovu Boranku u kojoj je sudjelovalo čak 350 volontera, većinom srednjoškolaca, studenata i izviđača, ali i drugih građana koji su se pridružili inicijativi. Pošumljavali su Mosor tako i učenici i nastavnici 2., 3. i 5. splitske gimnazije, Prirodoslovne škole Split, Škole za dizajn, grafiku i održivu gradnju iz Splita, Nadbiskupijske klasične gimnazije iz Splita, studenti i profesori Kineziološkog fakulteta u Splitu i Visoke škole Aspira iz Splita, volonteri Leo kluba Spalatum, volonteri programa Erasmus +, volonteri inicijative 72 sata bez kompromisa i planinari iz Planinarskog kluba Split. Domaćini ove akcije bili su izviđači iz Skautskog kluba "Split" i Odreda izviđača pomoraca "Brodosplit", a akciji su se pridružili i djelatnici Državne intervencijske postrojbe civilne zaštite iz Splita kao i drugi građani.

Iako kopanje rupa za sadnice na obroncima Mosora nije nimalo lak zadatak, sve sadnice koje su pripremile Hrvatske šume za ovu akciju, uspješno su posađene. Pritom su rupe kopali oni stariji, dok su mlađi dodavali sadnice i zatrpavali ih zemljom. Volonteri su ovoga puta na raspolaganju za sadnju imali sadnice hrasta medunca, čempresa te crnog i primorskog bora.

- Sadi se mješovito, isključivo autohtone vrste i sve prema uputama struke. Radujemo se svakoj posađenoj sadnici i sjemenu, ali uspjeh sadnje, osim naše dobre volje, uvelike ovisi i o prirodnim i vremenskim uvjetima. Kako su temperature još uvijek visoke, a padaline izuzetno rijetke, organiziramo i akcije zalijevanja sadnica kako bi lakše preživjele sušna razdoblja. Prema povratnim informacijama stručnjaka Hrvatskih šuma, zalijevanje posađenih sadnica značajno povećava njihovo preživljavanje, omogućavajući preživljavanje u prosjeku više od 70 posto posađenih sadnica – kazao je Dan Špicer, glavni koordinator kampanje Boranka.

Mladost i veselje, ali i volonterski rad, obilježili su i ovu Boranku u kojoj je sudjelovalo čak 350 volontera, većinom srednjoškolaca, studenata i izviđača, ali i drugih građana koji su se pridružili inicijativi. Pošumljavali su Mosor tako i učenici i nastavnici 2., 3. i 5. splitske gimnazije, Prirodoslovne škole Split, Škole za dizajn, grafiku i održivu gradnju iz Splita, Nadbiskupijske klasične gimnazije iz Splita, studenti i profesori Kineziološkog fakulteta u Splitu i Visoke škole Aspira iz Splita, volonteri Leo kluba Spalatum, volonteri programa Erasmus +, volonteri inicijative 72 sata bez kompromisa i planinari iz Planinarskog kluba Split. Domaćini ove akcije bili su izviđači iz Skautskog kluba "Split" i Odreda izviđača pomoraca "Brodosplit", a akciji su se pridružili i djelatnici Državne intervencijske postrojbe civilne zaštite iz Splita kao i drugi građani.

Iako kopanje rupa za sadnice na obroncima Mosora nije nimalo lak zadatak, sve sadnice koje su pripremile Hrvatske šume za ovu akciju, uspješno su posađene. Pritom su rupe kopali oni stariji, dok su mlađi dodavali sadnice i zatrpavali ih zemljom. Volonteri su ovoga puta na raspolaganju za sadnju imali sadnice hrasta medunca, čempresa te crnog i primorskog bora.

- Sadi se mješovito, isključivo autohtone vrste i sve prema uputama struke. Radujemo se svakoj posađenoj sadnici i sjemenu, ali uspjeh sadnje, osim naše dobre volje, uvelike ovisi i o prirodnim i vremenskim uvjetima. Kako su temperature još uvijek visoke, a padaline izuzetno rijetke, organiziramo i akcije zalijevanja sadnica kako bi lakše preživjele sušna razdoblja. Prema povratnim informacijama stručnjaka Hrvatskih šuma, zalijevanje posađenih sadnica značajno povećava njihovo preživljavanje, omogućavajući preživljavanje u prosjeku više od 70 posto posađenih sadnica – kazao je Dan Špicer, glavni koordinator kampanje Boranka.
