Tko će ako nećemo mi, naša splitska mladost, rasadnik talenata nalik Anđeli Kurilj, učenici Turističko-ugostiteljske škole Split, koja je na velikom finalu natjecanja METRO Junior Top Chef premoćno osvojila prvo mjesto. U sklopu rovinjskog Weekend Food Festivala Anđela je pokazala konkurenciji tko je najbolji mladi Top Chef.
Da to nije bio malo zadatak svjedoče i stroge propozicije: 90 minutni termin u kojem je pet učenika moralo pripremiti predjelo i glavno jelo, s istim namirnicama koje su im bile tajna do samog početka natjecanja.
Lenta je tako stigla polaznici splitske hvaljene srednje škole, a uz veliko priznanje i dobru odskočnu dasku za budućnost, mladoj Top Chefici pripala je i edukacija u istanbulskom Gastronometro centru, jedinstvenom ekosistemu turske ugostiteljske industrije.
Naravno, tu je i najbliža konkurencija, drugoplasirani Filip Viljevac iz Ugostiteljsko-turističke škole Osijek, te Ivano Grgić iz Ugostiteljske škole Opatija. I oni su dobili vrlo konkretne nagrade, drugoplasirani će proći usavršavanje i stažiranje kod Alejandra Serrana, najmlađeg chefa s MICHELINOVOM zvjezdicom u Španjolskoj.
Nije bilo lako
Trećeplasirani će imati priliku obaviti stručnu praksu kod Tibora Valinčića, chefa restorana Dubravkin put.
Put do prvog mjesta nije bio lak, trebalo je pokazati znanje između 25 učenika završnih razreda kuharskog usmjerenja, po pet iz pet srednjih škola, ujedno i Regionalnih centara za kompetentnost u ugostiteljstvu i turizmu. Objedinio ih je METRO Hrvatska koji je ove godine ponovno pokrenuo projekt METRO Junior Top Chef.

Cilj mu je bio budućim kuharima pružiti priliku u pokazivanju znanja, upoznavanju novih trendova u gastronomiji i kulinarstvu, te dodatnom razvijanju karijera. Što znaju i mogu pokazali su u sučeljavanjima kroz dva kruga natjecanja, prethodnicima velikog finala.
O pobjedniku je odlučivao žiri, sve su to bila poznata imena iz gastronomskog svijeta, Katarina Vrenc, chefica bistroa Sopal, Tibor Valinčić, chef restorana Dubravkin put, Maximilian Thomae, direktor Gastronometro centra, Matija Bogdan, executive chef Aminess Hotels & Resorts, Pantelija Pekić, Klub Gastronomada, Davor Butković, Kult Plave Kamenice, Gordan Zečić, urednik Dobre hrane i Larissa Jurman, direktorica odjela nabave neprehrane tvrtke METRO Hrvatska. Po njima je najbolja bila naša Anđela.

Tko će ako nećemo mi, naša splitska mladost, rasadnik talenata nalik Anđeli Kurilj, učenici Turističko-ugostiteljske škole Split, koja je na velikom finalu natjecanja METRO Junior Top Chef premoćno osvojila prvo mjesto. U sklopu rovinjskog Weekend Food Festivala Anđela je pokazala konkurenciji tko je najbolji mladi Top Chef.
Da to nije bio malo zadatak svjedoče i stroge propozicije: 90 minutni termin u kojem je pet učenika moralo pripremiti predjelo i glavno jelo, s istim namirnicama koje su im bile tajna do samog početka natjecanja.
Lenta je tako stigla polaznici splitske hvaljene srednje škole, a uz veliko priznanje i dobru odskočnu dasku za budućnost, mladoj Top Chefici pripala je i edukacija u istanbulskom Gastronometro centru, jedinstvenom ekosistemu turske ugostiteljske industrije.
Naravno, tu je i najbliža konkurencija, drugoplasirani Filip Viljevac iz Ugostiteljsko-turističke škole Osijek, te Ivano Grgić iz Ugostiteljske škole Opatija. I oni su dobili vrlo konkretne nagrade, drugoplasirani će proći usavršavanje i stažiranje kod Alejandra Serrana, najmlađeg chefa s MICHELINOVOM zvjezdicom u Španjolskoj.
Nije bilo lako
Trećeplasirani će imati priliku obaviti stručnu praksu kod Tibora Valinčića, chefa restorana Dubravkin put.
Put do prvog mjesta nije bio lak, trebalo je pokazati znanje između 25 učenika završnih razreda kuharskog usmjerenja, po pet iz pet srednjih škola, ujedno i Regionalnih centara za kompetentnost u ugostiteljstvu i turizmu. Objedinio ih je METRO Hrvatska koji je ove godine ponovno pokrenuo projekt METRO Junior Top Chef.

Cilj mu je bio budućim kuharima pružiti priliku u pokazivanju znanja, upoznavanju novih trendova u gastronomiji i kulinarstvu, te dodatnom razvijanju karijera. Što znaju i mogu pokazali su u sučeljavanjima kroz dva kruga natjecanja, prethodnicima velikog finala.
O pobjedniku je odlučivao žiri, sve su to bila poznata imena iz gastronomskog svijeta, Katarina Vrenc, chefica bistroa Sopal, Tibor Valinčić, chef restorana Dubravkin put, Maximilian Thomae, direktor Gastronometro centra, Matija Bogdan, executive chef Aminess Hotels & Resorts, Pantelija Pekić, Klub Gastronomada, Davor Butković, Kult Plave Kamenice, Gordan Zečić, urednik Dobre hrane i Larissa Jurman, direktorica odjela nabave neprehrane tvrtke METRO Hrvatska. Po njima je najbolja bila naša Anđela.
