Danas je blagdan svetoga Duje, dan kada bi, da nije koronavirusa, pola Splita i okolice već kretalo put Rive. Garantirano bi kraj Peškarije već zarana bili montirani oni koji čekaju na besplatnu porciju janjetine s bižima, tradicionalnog splitskog jela iz velike škverske teće.

Bit će ovo vjerojatno najčudnija fešta splitskog nebeskog zaštitnika, bez rijeke ljudi, bez procesije, bez fešta po kafićima, bez koncerta, vatrometa, bez djece koja se s drvenim leptirima umorni vraćaju doma.
I splitski gradonačelnik Andro Krstulović Opara , prigodno odjeven u svečani veštit, pazi on na takve stvari, poslao je svojim sugrađanima neobičnu čestitku. Da je sve regularno, čestitao bi im uživo, a ovako je poslao video-poruku, snimljenu dijelom na Rivi i na Peristilu, a neki kadrovi su snimljeni u zaista divno obnovljenoj koncertnoj dvorani u Hrvatskom domu u Tončićevoj ulici, pa je ovo izvrsna prilika da vidimo kako ona izgleda.
Evo što je Krstulović Opara poručio Splićanima:
"Dragi građani dičnoga grada Splita, drage Splićanke i Splićani,
Ovo je jedna drugačija Fjera svetoga Duje, drugačija Sudamja, dan našega zaštitnika. Nema onoga šušura, iako smo okitili grad, nema pivane mise na Rivi, nema procesije, nema velike regate veslača Gusara i njihovih prijatelja iz Oxforda i Cambridgea, nema naše tradicionalne Fjere, neće biti niti koncerta niti tradicionalne velike tombule, neće biti ni vatrometa. Ali ima nas i to je najvažnije. Vjerujem kako je unatoč svim izvanrednim okolnostima u kojima smo se našli protekla dva mjeseca, vedar i optimističan duh svih vas ostao netaknut.
Tradicija je, i red je da vam, užežin Dana grada i blagdana Sudamje podnesem izvješće o radu Gradske uprave u protekloj godini. No uskraćeni za ovogodišnju Svečanu sjednicu koja se trebala održati u novouređenoj svečanoj dvorani u zgradi Hrvatskoga doma, na kojoj bi Vam o projektima mogao govoriti šire i detaljnije, pozvat ću vas da ostvarene projekte u protekloj godini sami prepoznate u svojoj svakodnevici: u saniranim cestama, nadograđenim školama, uređenim školskim i dječjim igralištima, brojnim gradilištima iz kojih će uskoro niknuti nova zdanja naših vrtića, prvi hospicij, Četiri palme, nova, još jedna koncertna dvorana, zatim u brojnim socijalnim programima iz kojih se izdvajaju financijska sredstva za novorođenčad, učenike, studente, umirovljenike, u novom Masterplanu uređenja grada i nizu projekata koji se sufinanciraju europskim fondovima…
U nekim smo stvarima bili jako uspješni, u nekim, priznajem, možemo i moramo puno bolje. Zato se drage Splićanke i Splićani, okrenimo budućnosti. S poukom koju smo izvukli iz ove zdravstvene i gospodarske krize u kojoj smo se s cijelim svijetom i mi našli, budimo bolji i odgovorniji, ne tražeći uvijek skužu za neslaganje. Okrenimo se jedni prema drugima, jer jedino mi, zajedničkim snagama možemo činiti velike stvari i dostići visoke ciljeve na koje ćemo biti ponosni.
Bio je ovo test naše ljudskosti, solidarnosti i spremnosti na žrtvu na koji smo odgovorili najbolje što smo znali. Vodeći računa o svojim kolegama i susjedima, prijateljima i poznanicima, o onima koji su najugroženiji i koji trebaju našu maksimalnu brigu poklonimo jedni drugima malo više povjerenja jer vrijeme pred nama nosi brojne izazove.
Vjerujem u najbolje u ovome gradu, vjerujem u njegove najbolje pojedince po kojima je uvijek bio slavan, vjerujem da ćemo dobiti zagovor našega zaštitnika svetoga Duje da nas prati i pomogne nam da stavljajući po strani razlike, neslaganja i učinjene greške uspješno odgovorimo na ono što nas čeka.

Danas je blagdan svetoga Duje, dan kada bi, da nije koronavirusa, pola Splita i okolice već kretalo put Rive. Garantirano bi kraj Peškarije već zarana bili montirani oni koji čekaju na besplatnu porciju janjetine s bižima, tradicionalnog splitskog jela iz velike škverske teće.

Bit će ovo vjerojatno najčudnija fešta splitskog nebeskog zaštitnika, bez rijeke ljudi, bez procesije, bez fešta po kafićima, bez koncerta, vatrometa, bez djece koja se s drvenim leptirima umorni vraćaju doma.
I splitski gradonačelnik Andro Krstulović Opara , prigodno odjeven u svečani veštit, pazi on na takve stvari, poslao je svojim sugrađanima neobičnu čestitku. Da je sve regularno, čestitao bi im uživo, a ovako je poslao video-poruku, snimljenu dijelom na Rivi i na Peristilu, a neki kadrovi su snimljeni u zaista divno obnovljenoj koncertnoj dvorani u Hrvatskom domu u Tončićevoj ulici, pa je ovo izvrsna prilika da vidimo kako ona izgleda.
Evo što je Krstulović Opara poručio Splićanima:
"Dragi građani dičnoga grada Splita, drage Splićanke i Splićani,
Ovo je jedna drugačija Fjera svetoga Duje, drugačija Sudamja, dan našega zaštitnika. Nema onoga šušura, iako smo okitili grad, nema pivane mise na Rivi, nema procesije, nema velike regate veslača Gusara i njihovih prijatelja iz Oxforda i Cambridgea, nema naše tradicionalne Fjere, neće biti niti koncerta niti tradicionalne velike tombule, neće biti ni vatrometa. Ali ima nas i to je najvažnije. Vjerujem kako je unatoč svim izvanrednim okolnostima u kojima smo se našli protekla dva mjeseca, vedar i optimističan duh svih vas ostao netaknut.
Tradicija je, i red je da vam, užežin Dana grada i blagdana Sudamje podnesem izvješće o radu Gradske uprave u protekloj godini. No uskraćeni za ovogodišnju Svečanu sjednicu koja se trebala održati u novouređenoj svečanoj dvorani u zgradi Hrvatskoga doma, na kojoj bi Vam o projektima mogao govoriti šire i detaljnije, pozvat ću vas da ostvarene projekte u protekloj godini sami prepoznate u svojoj svakodnevici: u saniranim cestama, nadograđenim školama, uređenim školskim i dječjim igralištima, brojnim gradilištima iz kojih će uskoro niknuti nova zdanja naših vrtića, prvi hospicij, Četiri palme, nova, još jedna koncertna dvorana, zatim u brojnim socijalnim programima iz kojih se izdvajaju financijska sredstva za novorođenčad, učenike, studente, umirovljenike, u novom Masterplanu uređenja grada i nizu projekata koji se sufinanciraju europskim fondovima…
U nekim smo stvarima bili jako uspješni, u nekim, priznajem, možemo i moramo puno bolje. Zato se drage Splićanke i Splićani, okrenimo budućnosti. S poukom koju smo izvukli iz ove zdravstvene i gospodarske krize u kojoj smo se s cijelim svijetom i mi našli, budimo bolji i odgovorniji, ne tražeći uvijek skužu za neslaganje. Okrenimo se jedni prema drugima, jer jedino mi, zajedničkim snagama možemo činiti velike stvari i dostići visoke ciljeve na koje ćemo biti ponosni.
Bio je ovo test naše ljudskosti, solidarnosti i spremnosti na žrtvu na koji smo odgovorili najbolje što smo znali. Vodeći računa o svojim kolegama i susjedima, prijateljima i poznanicima, o onima koji su najugroženiji i koji trebaju našu maksimalnu brigu poklonimo jedni drugima malo više povjerenja jer vrijeme pred nama nosi brojne izazove.
Vjerujem u najbolje u ovome gradu, vjerujem u njegove najbolje pojedince po kojima je uvijek bio slavan, vjerujem da ćemo dobiti zagovor našega zaštitnika svetoga Duje da nas prati i pomogne nam da stavljajući po strani razlike, neslaganja i učinjene greške uspješno odgovorimo na ono što nas čeka.
Čuvajte jedni druge, čuvajte sebe i čuvajte naš Split! Ostanite mi zdravi i veseli i na dobro vam došla Sudamja!
