Zna se da su Brđani malo čudni, ali ovako...
Da na narodnom zboru splitskog kotara Brda odbiju ponudu iz snova koju im je izložio Ivica Puljak i njegova administracija – obnovljeni sportski centar s masu parkirnih mjesta?! Ulaganje od 20 do 25 milijuna eura! I oni su to odbili kao što se odbije dosadna mušica?
U njihovom sportskom centru, popularno nazvanom Ciglana, sada su nogometni teren s umjetnom travom, košarkaško igralište, koševi za basket, dva zjoga za balote, cageball, dječje igralište, streetworkout i dva betonska teniska terena. Društvena dvorana za gledanje televizije, kartanje i ćakule.
A Puljak nudi: veliki bazen za vaterpolo, mali bazen, dvoranu s dva rukometna igrališta i šest manjih dvorana, prostor za čuvanje djece, košarkaško i malonogometno igralište. Rekonstruirale bi se Hercegovačka, Mostarska i Sarajevska ulica, kao i gradska Tržnica. Plus 360 mjesta za parkiranje. Plus Brđani bi sami odlučivali što bi s dvjesto kvadrata prostora za koji je Grad predvidio natkriveno balotaško igralište. Ponuda iz snova!

Svršeni čin
Stanovnici Brda pomalo su otkrili što im smeta: Javnu ustanovu "Športski objekti", koja je prije pola godine preuzela Ciglanu nakon što je Grad raskinuo ugovor sa Sportsko-rekreacijskim društvom "Brda" optužili su za loše upravljanje i nebrigu. Dogradonačelnik Antonio Kuzmanić im je uzvratio: "Društvo za športsku rekreaciju Brda koje upravlja sportskim centrom radilo je ilegalno, dobivali su novce za struju, vodu, iznajmljivali prostor, a igralište nisu sredili."
Puljak je zapucao još žešće: "Grad je podigao ovu građevinu. Naša ideja je bolja za vas i za grad. Zato neće biti referenduma."

- Ne, mi smo ga izgradili. Ovaj projekt nosite na Mejaše. Nama očistite zrak od teških metala koji nas truju – ukopali su se Brđani.
Onda se glasalo. Brda su rekla svoje: nećemo nove sportske sadržaje. Grad je ostao pri svome: gradit ćemo, to je za vaše dobro.
Neviđena situacija. Ne, viđena je svaki put kad nije bilo komunikacije s građanima, kad ih se pokušalo dovesti pred svršen čin, sjetimo se pokušaja gradnje baze za kontejnere sa smećem na Špinutu, iznenadnog zatvaranja Dioklecijanovih podruma, famoznog Varoškog trokuta.
Grad vadi zadnje argumente: ugrožena je statika zgrade. Protiv toga je teško nešto reći. Na saboru Brđana građani su pitali gradonačelnika da im pokaže analizu statike. Četiri puta su pitali. Nije pokazao.
Brda su, rekosmo, oduvijek malo na svoju ruku. Otkad je izgrađeno ovo naselje na sjeveroistočnom rubu Splita, bili su prepušteni više-manje sebi. Kad bi se spuštali u "grad", mi djeca iz centra bi se skrivali po kućama. Danima. Nikoga se nismo bojali kao Brđana.

Govorilo se: prvo te plesne pa te pita ko si. Bili su bad guys a bavili su se, na našu nevolju, sportom. Nisi im mogao uteć. Imali su tu svoju Ciglanu. Jedinstveni sportski prostor u Splitu koji je izgrađen većinom kvartovskim snagama. Znate ono: jedan zna pituravat, drugi ziđat, treći se razumi u struju... Gradnja Ciglane započela je 1978. godine, najprije su uređeni teniski tereni, pa zjogovi za balote, onda košarkaško i nogometno igralište, do 1995. gradska lipa nije došla u centar, novac je kapao iz SIZ-a za fizičku kulturu, a onda je svaka gradska vlast izgradila po jednu etažu, ukupno četiri. Zgrada je započeta 1985., a završena 2003. godine. Po tome se vidi da se radilo na malo.

Bilo je interesantno vidjeti kako se u centru na Brdima izmjenjuje nekoliko generacija, djeca, mladi, stari. Svakome svoje. Košarka, nogomet, tenis, ples, gimnastika, balote. Bio je to zatvoreni krug, ne savršen i ne u sjajnom stanju, ali njima se ipak sviđao. I odvraćao je djecu od problema narkomanije i s tim povezanog kriminala, po kojima su Brda devedesetih također bila poznata.
Da bi se Ciglana nekako održavala, krpali su se na sve strane, dio prostora je iznajmljivan vrtiću, obrtniku, plesnoj udruzi, a teniski tereni su prvi komercijalizirani. Igralište je lani obnovljeno kotarskim sredstvima, a ostali troškovi pokrivali su se s oko 11 tisuća eura koje je godišnje uplaćivao Grad.
Puljkova vlast sada se suočila s Brđanima, oči u oči. Dokinula je njihovo malo sportsko utočište koje su doživljavali kao svoje, njima blisko, pa neka je bilo i malo naciknuto. Pred velikim projektima, posebno bazenima, ljudi su se preplašili. Kao i moćne Javne ustanove športski objekti. Nigdje ih do prije mjesec dana nije bilo, a sada su uletjeli s grandioznim projektima koje građani ne žele. Puljkova administracija opet pada na dobroj praksi Europske unije, koja uključuje svaki projekt, komunikaciji s građanima. Oni prijete, tjeraju, ne zanima ih što kvartaši misle. A takva sila na Brdima će teško proći. Ne znaju gdje su došli s danajskim darovima.

Zna se da su Brđani malo čudni, ali ovako...
Da na narodnom zboru splitskog kotara Brda odbiju ponudu iz snova koju im je izložio Ivica Puljak i njegova administracija – obnovljeni sportski centar s masu parkirnih mjesta?! Ulaganje od 20 do 25 milijuna eura! I oni su to odbili kao što se odbije dosadna mušica?
U njihovom sportskom centru, popularno nazvanom Ciglana, sada su nogometni teren s umjetnom travom, košarkaško igralište, koševi za basket, dva zjoga za balote, cageball, dječje igralište, streetworkout i dva betonska teniska terena. Društvena dvorana za gledanje televizije, kartanje i ćakule.
A Puljak nudi: veliki bazen za vaterpolo, mali bazen, dvoranu s dva rukometna igrališta i šest manjih dvorana, prostor za čuvanje djece, košarkaško i malonogometno igralište. Rekonstruirale bi se Hercegovačka, Mostarska i Sarajevska ulica, kao i gradska Tržnica. Plus 360 mjesta za parkiranje. Plus Brđani bi sami odlučivali što bi s dvjesto kvadrata prostora za koji je Grad predvidio natkriveno balotaško igralište. Ponuda iz snova!
- Ne bismo, hvala - bio je gotovo jednoglasni odgovor naroda Brda. Uz dvije ruke koje su bile za.
Svršeni čin
Stanovnici Brda pomalo su otkrili što im smeta: Javnu ustanovu "Športski objekti", koja je prije pola godine preuzela Ciglanu nakon što je Grad raskinuo ugovor sa Sportsko-rekreacijskim društvom "Brda" optužili su za loše upravljanje i nebrigu. Dogradonačelnik Antonio Kuzmanić im je uzvratio: "Društvo za športsku rekreaciju Brda koje upravlja sportskim centrom radilo je ilegalno, dobivali su novce za struju, vodu, iznajmljivali prostor, a igralište nisu sredili."
Puljak je zapucao još žešće: "Grad je podigao ovu građevinu. Naša ideja je bolja za vas i za grad. Zato neće biti referenduma."

- Ne, mi smo ga izgradili. Ovaj projekt nosite na Mejaše. Nama očistite zrak od teških metala koji nas truju – ukopali su se Brđani.
Onda se glasalo. Brda su rekla svoje: nećemo nove sportske sadržaje. Grad je ostao pri svome: gradit ćemo, to je za vaše dobro.
Neviđena situacija. Ne, viđena je svaki put kad nije bilo komunikacije s građanima, kad ih se pokušalo dovesti pred svršen čin, sjetimo se pokušaja gradnje baze za kontejnere sa smećem na Špinutu, iznenadnog zatvaranja Dioklecijanovih podruma, famoznog Varoškog trokuta.
Grad vadi zadnje argumente: ugrožena je statika zgrade. Protiv toga je teško nešto reći. Na saboru Brđana građani su pitali gradonačelnika da im pokaže analizu statike. Četiri puta su pitali. Nije pokazao.
Brda su, rekosmo, oduvijek malo na svoju ruku. Otkad je izgrađeno ovo naselje na sjeveroistočnom rubu Splita, bili su prepušteni više-manje sebi. Kad bi se spuštali u "grad", mi djeca iz centra bi se skrivali po kućama. Danima. Nikoga se nismo bojali kao Brđana.

Govorilo se: prvo te plesne pa te pita ko si. Bili su bad guys a bavili su se, na našu nevolju, sportom. Nisi im mogao uteć. Imali su tu svoju Ciglanu. Jedinstveni sportski prostor u Splitu koji je izgrađen većinom kvartovskim snagama. Znate ono: jedan zna pituravat, drugi ziđat, treći se razumi u struju... Gradnja Ciglane započela je 1978. godine, najprije su uređeni teniski tereni, pa zjogovi za balote, onda košarkaško i nogometno igralište, do 1995. gradska lipa nije došla u centar, novac je kapao iz SIZ-a za fizičku kulturu, a onda je svaka gradska vlast izgradila po jednu etažu, ukupno četiri. Zgrada je započeta 1985., a završena 2003. godine. Po tome se vidi da se radilo na malo.
E, nećete!
Bilo je interesantno vidjeti kako se u centru na Brdima izmjenjuje nekoliko generacija, djeca, mladi, stari. Svakome svoje. Košarka, nogomet, tenis, ples, gimnastika, balote. Bio je to zatvoreni krug, ne savršen i ne u sjajnom stanju, ali njima se ipak sviđao. I odvraćao je djecu od problema narkomanije i s tim povezanog kriminala, po kojima su Brda devedesetih također bila poznata.
Da bi se Ciglana nekako održavala, krpali su se na sve strane, dio prostora je iznajmljivan vrtiću, obrtniku, plesnoj udruzi, a teniski tereni su prvi komercijalizirani. Igralište je lani obnovljeno kotarskim sredstvima, a ostali troškovi pokrivali su se s oko 11 tisuća eura koje je godišnje uplaćivao Grad.
Puljkova vlast sada se suočila s Brđanima, oči u oči. Dokinula je njihovo malo sportsko utočište koje su doživljavali kao svoje, njima blisko, pa neka je bilo i malo naciknuto. Pred velikim projektima, posebno bazenima, ljudi su se preplašili. Kao i moćne Javne ustanove športski objekti. Nigdje ih do prije mjesec dana nije bilo, a sada su uletjeli s grandioznim projektima koje građani ne žele. Puljkova administracija opet pada na dobroj praksi Europske unije, koja uključuje svaki projekt, komunikaciji s građanima. Oni prijete, tjeraju, ne zanima ih što kvartaši misle. A takva sila na Brdima će teško proći. Ne znaju gdje su došli s danajskim darovima.
