Udruga antifašista i antifašističkih boraca (UAAB) grada Splita jutros je obilježila 76. obljetnicu oslobođenja našeg grada od fašističkog i nacističkog okupatora.

Polaganjem vijenca na štandarcu pokraj Stare vijećnice na Pjaci, uz prigodni govor obilježen je jedan od najznačajnijih datuma u splitskoj povijesti.

- Da nije bilo toga Split, bi se danas zvao Spalato ili možda nekim drugim imenom - kazao je docent dr. Zdravko Roje, predsjednik UAAB-a te je naglasio kako mlade treba odgajati, a sviješću utjecati na nove generacije.

Na postolje štandarca vijenac je postavila i Jelena Hrgović Tomaš, splitska dogradonačelnica uz poruku kako je važno odati počast i priznanje događaju koji pripada našoj povijesti, a 1944. godina u tom smislu ima svoju važnu ulogu.

- Svi važni trenuci, poput oslobođenja grada Splita, ne određuju samo našu prošlost, nego sadašnjost i budućnost. I u tom smislu sam ja danas ovdje kao izaslanica Grada, da iskažem pijetet prema svim ljudima koji su podnijeli žrtvu, a i svima onima koji su dali svoj doprinos, da im zahvalim na toj povijesnoj ulozi - rekla je Hrgović Tomaš.

Povodom obljetnice, članovi udruge antifašista ponovno su uputiti dopis Andri Krstuloviću Opari, splitskom gradonačelniku sa zamolbom da se vrati ime Palmine Piplović dječjem vrtiću na Marjanu, da se jedna ulica u gradu Splitu imenuje Ulicom Prvog Splitskog partizanskog odreda te da se jedan trg u gradu imenuje Trgom žrtava fašizma.

- Ovi naši zahtjevi su civilizacijska stečevina i nitko nema pravo te stečevine oduzeti našem slobodarskom Gradu. Pored toga, ovaj naš zahtjev je sukladan i s novim smjerom Vlade Andreja Plenkovića, ali i u skladu s Ustavom - rekao je Roje

Napomenuo je da kao novi predsjednik UAAB-e čvrsto vjeruje u raniji dogovor s gradonačelnikom Androm Krstulovićem Oparom, da će to biti napravljeno još za vijeme trajanja njegovog mandata.

- Ta će inicijativa pisanim putem biti upućena gradonačelniku i Gradskom vijeću, a na njima da to razmotre i donesu konačnu odluku - prisnažila je splitska dogradonačelnica.

Na pitanje novinara smatra li da će ovoga puta imati podršku članova lokalnog parlamenta, kazala je kako misli da je takvu inicijativu važno pustiti u proceduru, a sastav ovog vijeća će donijeti svoju odluku. Na njezine riječi Zdravko Roje je dodao:

- Ako netko živi u slobodarskom Splitu, a ne dijeli te uspomene, mislim da je dužan ponašati se onako kako kaže naša Vlada, kako kažu antifašisti i kako misli većina ovoga grada.

Ako su ti ljudi koji odlučuju slučajno u Splitu, i Split nije njihov zavičaj, onda ćemo ih morati javno pozvati da kažu, ako su protiv, zašto to tako rade.

Ponavljati kao papagaj što je Split dao i čemu je pridonio, to je anahrono. To su civilizacijske i povijesne činjenice, a to nitko ne može izmijeniti - poručio je predsjednik UAAB-e i zaključio da vjeruje obećanju gradonačelnika i u svijest ljudi koji sjede u Gradskom vijeću.

Prokomentirali su i činjenicu da na štandarcu nije upisan datum oslobođenja Splita. Zdravko Roje smatra da je to "ružno".

- To su sve ideje koje su već razmijenjene na sastanku s gradonačelnikom i koje će biti službeno upućene i vjerujem da će kao takve biti provedene - poručila je splitska dogradonačelnica.

Zbog strožih epidemioloških mjera, ove godine se položilo cvijeće na spomen parku borcima NOR-a, poljani poginulih branitelja Domovinskog rata kod križa i na Centralnom križu groblja Lovrinac, a na kraju i na Pijaci, gdje su nakon polaganja vijenaca u zrak pušteni crveni baloni.

Udruga antifašista i antifašističkih boraca (UAAB) grada Splita jutros je obilježila 76. obljetnicu oslobođenja našeg grada od fašističkog i nacističkog okupatora.

Polaganjem vijenca na štandarcu pokraj Stare vijećnice na Pjaci, uz prigodni govor obilježen je jedan od najznačajnijih datuma u splitskoj povijesti.

- Da nije bilo toga Split, bi se danas zvao Spalato ili možda nekim drugim imenom - kazao je docent dr. Zdravko Roje, predsjednik UAAB-a te je naglasio kako mlade treba odgajati, a sviješću utjecati na nove generacije.

Na postolje štandarca vijenac je postavila i Jelena Hrgović Tomaš, splitska dogradonačelnica uz poruku kako je važno odati počast i priznanje događaju koji pripada našoj povijesti, a 1944. godina u tom smislu ima svoju važnu ulogu.

- Svi važni trenuci, poput oslobođenja grada Splita, ne određuju samo našu prošlost, nego sadašnjost i budućnost. I u tom smislu sam ja danas ovdje kao izaslanica Grada, da iskažem pijetet prema svim ljudima koji su podnijeli žrtvu, a i svima onima koji su dali svoj doprinos, da im zahvalim na toj povijesnoj ulozi - rekla je Hrgović Tomaš.

Povodom obljetnice, članovi udruge antifašista ponovno su uputiti dopis Andri Krstuloviću Opari, splitskom gradonačelniku sa zamolbom da se vrati ime Palmine Piplović dječjem vrtiću na Marjanu, da se jedna ulica u gradu Splitu imenuje Ulicom Prvog Splitskog partizanskog odreda te da se jedan trg u gradu imenuje Trgom žrtava fašizma.

- Ovi naši zahtjevi su civilizacijska stečevina i nitko nema pravo te stečevine oduzeti našem slobodarskom Gradu. Pored toga, ovaj naš zahtjev je sukladan i s novim smjerom Vlade Andreja Plenkovića, ali i u skladu s Ustavom - rekao je Roje

Napomenuo je da kao novi predsjednik UAAB-e čvrsto vjeruje u raniji dogovor s gradonačelnikom Androm Krstulovićem Oparom, da će to biti napravljeno još za vijeme trajanja njegovog mandata.

- Ta će inicijativa pisanim putem biti upućena gradonačelniku i Gradskom vijeću, a na njima da to razmotre i donesu konačnu odluku - prisnažila je splitska dogradonačelnica.

Na pitanje novinara smatra li da će ovoga puta imati podršku članova lokalnog parlamenta, kazala je kako misli da je takvu inicijativu važno pustiti u proceduru, a sastav ovog vijeća će donijeti svoju odluku. Na njezine riječi Zdravko Roje je dodao:

- Ako netko živi u slobodarskom Splitu, a ne dijeli te uspomene, mislim da je dužan ponašati se onako kako kaže naša Vlada, kako kažu antifašisti i kako misli većina ovoga grada.

Ako su ti ljudi koji odlučuju slučajno u Splitu, i Split nije njihov zavičaj, onda ćemo ih morati javno pozvati da kažu, ako su protiv, zašto to tako rade.

Ponavljati kao papagaj što je Split dao i čemu je pridonio, to je anahrono. To su civilizacijske i povijesne činjenice, a to nitko ne može izmijeniti - poručio je predsjednik UAAB-e i zaključio da vjeruje obećanju gradonačelnika i u svijest ljudi koji sjede u Gradskom vijeću.

Prokomentirali su i činjenicu da na štandarcu nije upisan datum oslobođenja Splita. Zdravko Roje smatra da je to "ružno".

- To su sve ideje koje su već razmijenjene na sastanku s gradonačelnikom i koje će biti službeno upućene i vjerujem da će kao takve biti provedene - poručila je splitska dogradonačelnica.

Zbog strožih epidemioloških mjera, ove godine se položilo cvijeće na spomen parku borcima NOR-a, poljani poginulih branitelja Domovinskog rata kod križa i na Centralnom križu groblja Lovrinac, a na kraju i na Pijaci, gdje su nakon polaganja vijenaca u zrak pušteni crveni baloni.
