Što s Ujevićevom poljanom? To pitanje sebi očito ne postavljaju gradske vlasti, ali su jako zabrinuti u agilnoj Građanskoj inicijativi Split, gdje smatraju da je riječ o potpuno nakaradnom prostoru kojim dnevno prolaze tisuće građana, no od prvotne projektantske zamisli prilikom uređenja početkom devedesetih godina nije ostalo gotovo ništa.

Dapače, i ta zamisao je zakomplicirala stvar. Naime, ta je poljana zbog postavljanja velikog kruga, koji u GIST-u zovu ‘torta‘, i štekata koji su se priljubili uz taj element koji inače zauzima trećinu prostora, sužena na uski prolaz ispred službenog ulaza u HNK, a zub vremena nagrizao je poljanu koja se sada našla uz sam rub obuhvata Plana strategije upravljanja povijesnom jezgrom.

Građanska incijativa stoga je raspisala ad hoc arhitektonski natječaj kojim poziva arhitekte da nanovo osmisle Ujevićevu poljanu, a njihovi prijedlozi bit će poslani na uvid gradskoj upravi i građanima kako bi se potaknula rasprava o potrebi novog sagledavanja tog prostora. K tome valja uvažiti i činjenicu da je Grad još prije petnaest godina donio odluku o postavljanju spomenika pjesniku Tinu Ujeviću na njegovu poljanu.

- Ako je koštela i bila stara, bolesna, rascijepljena i opasna, kao što su zborski tvrdili u ‘Parkovima i nasadima‘, to ne znači da ovakvom njenom hitrom "supstitucijom" išta rješavamo. Cijela je Ujevića poljana također stara, bolesna i fragmentirana do mjere da su na njoj najveća atrakcija odavno postale ‘pitarske mačke‘, pa su nam se ‘urbanistički‘ dometi sveli na to da im se, kad su već tu, naprave i kućice. Nemamo ništa protiv mačaka ni kućica, uostalom cijeli ih je obližnji Varoš pun i živimo s njima u slozi i ljubavi, ali zar nakon preuređenja dvaju obližnjih trgova - Šperuna i Trga Gaje Bulata - ovaj grad ne zaslužuje i smislenije oblikovanje cijelog prostora Ujevića poljane, na kojoj jedina atrakcija neće biti turisti koji po obodu ‘hortikulturne torte‘ jedu sladoled i hrane te slikavaju mačke? No, nismo nikakvi puristi ni konzervativci koji bi strogo propisivali što gdje smije i može biti, pa smo zato natječaj programski i ostavili posve otvorenim za različite pristupe i rješenja. Živo nas zanima što se uopće može očekivati od natječaja koji niti je služben, niti ima ikakav nagradni fond - kaže nam Vjeko Santrić iz Građanske inicijative Split i kotarski vijećnik Varoša.

Nagrada je puž

GIST je inače natječaj za izradu urbanističko-arhitektonskog rješenja središnjeg dijela Poljane Tina Ujevića, koncipirao po uzoru na ‘prave‘ natječaje, a cilj mu je da Grad Split žurno reagira na degradacije i devastacije najvrednijih gradskih prostora te redefinira i unaprijedi prostorne politike.

Natječajne podloge mogu se dobiti mailom inicijativagist@gmail.com, a obavijest o rezultatima bit će objavljena u medijima i na FB stranici GIST-a, dok je rok za predaju natječajnih radova 20. ožujka.

Imenovan je i intrigantan Ocjenjivački sud kojega čine troje arhitekata: Ivan Cingel, dr. sc. Krunoslav Ivanišin i dr. sc. Igor Ekštajn te povjesničarka umjetnosti dr. sc. Sandi Bulimbašić i Ivica Sorić Suri, zvanjem elektrotehničar, vokacijom pjesnik.

Natjecatelji moraju prikazati situacijsko rješenje kroz tri prostorna prikaza na fotografijama koje će dobiti kao podloge uz tekstualno obrazloženje ne dulje od tri kartice, a listovi ne smiju sadržavati podatke o autorima kako bi se zadržala anonimnost, dok će njihovi podaci biti dostavljeni e-mailom. Mogu se prijaviti i studenti sa svojim mentorima, a iz iskustva znamo da su studentska rješenja uvijek neopterećena i kreativna

- Želimo potaknuti ljude iz struke da, kad već gradska vlast ne želi, razmisle o novom gledanju na gradske prostore koji su problematični, a sudionicima ćemo uručiti simboličke skulpture ‘Puž‘, koje će izraditi naš Dalibor Popovič - zaključuje Santrić.

Što s Ujevićevom poljanom? To pitanje sebi očito ne postavljaju gradske vlasti, ali su jako zabrinuti u agilnoj Građanskoj inicijativi Split, gdje smatraju da je riječ o potpuno nakaradnom prostoru kojim dnevno prolaze tisuće građana, no od prvotne projektantske zamisli prilikom uređenja početkom devedesetih godina nije ostalo gotovo ništa.

Dapače, i ta zamisao je zakomplicirala stvar. Naime, ta je poljana zbog postavljanja velikog kruga, koji u GIST-u zovu ‘torta‘, i štekata koji su se priljubili uz taj element koji inače zauzima trećinu prostora, sužena na uski prolaz ispred službenog ulaza u HNK, a zub vremena nagrizao je poljanu koja se sada našla uz sam rub obuhvata Plana strategije upravljanja povijesnom jezgrom.

Građanska incijativa stoga je raspisala ad hoc arhitektonski natječaj kojim poziva arhitekte da nanovo osmisle Ujevićevu poljanu, a njihovi prijedlozi bit će poslani na uvid gradskoj upravi i građanima kako bi se potaknula rasprava o potrebi novog sagledavanja tog prostora. K tome valja uvažiti i činjenicu da je Grad još prije petnaest godina donio odluku o postavljanju spomenika pjesniku Tinu Ujeviću na njegovu poljanu.

- Ako je koštela i bila stara, bolesna, rascijepljena i opasna, kao što su zborski tvrdili u ‘Parkovima i nasadima‘, to ne znači da ovakvom njenom hitrom "supstitucijom" išta rješavamo. Cijela je Ujevića poljana također stara, bolesna i fragmentirana do mjere da su na njoj najveća atrakcija odavno postale ‘pitarske mačke‘, pa su nam se ‘urbanistički‘ dometi sveli na to da im se, kad su već tu, naprave i kućice. Nemamo ništa protiv mačaka ni kućica, uostalom cijeli ih je obližnji Varoš pun i živimo s njima u slozi i ljubavi, ali zar nakon preuređenja dvaju obližnjih trgova - Šperuna i Trga Gaje Bulata - ovaj grad ne zaslužuje i smislenije oblikovanje cijelog prostora Ujevića poljane, na kojoj jedina atrakcija neće biti turisti koji po obodu ‘hortikulturne torte‘ jedu sladoled i hrane te slikavaju mačke? No, nismo nikakvi puristi ni konzervativci koji bi strogo propisivali što gdje smije i može biti, pa smo zato natječaj programski i ostavili posve otvorenim za različite pristupe i rješenja. Živo nas zanima što se uopće može očekivati od natječaja koji niti je služben, niti ima ikakav nagradni fond - kaže nam Vjeko Santrić iz Građanske inicijative Split i kotarski vijećnik Varoša.

Nagrada je puž

GIST je inače natječaj za izradu urbanističko-arhitektonskog rješenja središnjeg dijela Poljane Tina Ujevića, koncipirao po uzoru na ‘prave‘ natječaje, a cilj mu je da Grad Split žurno reagira na degradacije i devastacije najvrednijih gradskih prostora te redefinira i unaprijedi prostorne politike.

Natječajne podloge mogu se dobiti mailom inicijativagist@gmail.com, a obavijest o rezultatima bit će objavljena u medijima i na FB stranici GIST-a, dok je rok za predaju natječajnih radova 20. ožujka.

Imenovan je i intrigantan Ocjenjivački sud kojega čine troje arhitekata: Ivan Cingel, dr. sc. Krunoslav Ivanišin i dr. sc. Igor Ekštajn te povjesničarka umjetnosti dr. sc. Sandi Bulimbašić i Ivica Sorić Suri, zvanjem elektrotehničar, vokacijom pjesnik.

Natjecatelji moraju prikazati situacijsko rješenje kroz tri prostorna prikaza na fotografijama koje će dobiti kao podloge uz tekstualno obrazloženje ne dulje od tri kartice, a listovi ne smiju sadržavati podatke o autorima kako bi se zadržala anonimnost, dok će njihovi podaci biti dostavljeni e-mailom. Mogu se prijaviti i studenti sa svojim mentorima, a iz iskustva znamo da su studentska rješenja uvijek neopterećena i kreativna

- Želimo potaknuti ljude iz struke da, kad već gradska vlast ne želi, razmisle o novom gledanju na gradske prostore koji su problematični, a sudionicima ćemo uručiti simboličke skulpture ‘Puž‘, koje će izraditi naš Dalibor Popovič - zaključuje Santrić.
