Tomislav Bogović, potpredsjednik Udruga antifašista i antifašističkih boraca Splita reagirao je na izjavu akademskog kipara Kuzme Kovačića koji se usprotivio upisivanju Dana oslobođenja Splita na štandarac na Pjaci, budući da je riječ o njegovu autorskom djelu, o čemu je samo izvješćen od gradskih vlasti, a nikakvih drugih konzultacija koje bi autorska prava podrazumijevala, nije bilo:
- Je li zaista riječ o nasilju ili je autor štandarca Kuzma Kovačić, braneći svoja politička uvjerenja (što mu nitko ne osporava), htio ostaviti trag u medijskom prostoru kako ga istomišljenici "zdesna" ne bi razapeli za ideološku šutnju? Sad već prepoznatljiva antiteza o danu 26. listopada 1944. godine kao komunističkoj okupaciji Splita, a ne danu oslobođenju Splita od fašizma, poprima obrise i u ovom prigodnom obraćanju Kuzme Kovačića.

Kipar, koji je izašao "iz tame komunističkoga beznađa" i kome smeta "isključivost ideološke i političke naravi (slijeva) koja se prenosi na polje umjetnosti", bio bi, u odnosu na svoj umjetnički opus, vjerojatno sretniji s natpisom "10.4.1941. Proglašena je Nezavisna država Hrvatska". A o njegovoj uključivosti ideološke i političke naravi (sdesna) govore brojna kiparska djela: - spomenik dr. Franji Tuđmanu u Škabrnji (ne dovodim u pitanje otvoreno protivljenje ustaštvu prvog hrvatskog predsjednika već krajnje desnu političku orijentaciju), spomenik Gojku Šušku u Širokom Brijegu, spomenik hrvatskoj slobodi u Čapljini (kakva je to sloboda ako je samo hrvatska), kip bl. Alojzija Stepinca u Zagrebu, oltar na Bleiburškom polju...
Dok, prema riječima kipara, "komunistički partizanski spomenici slave veliki zločin - pola milijuna ubijenih Hrvata" ("Nijedan zločin koji se počini za slobodu ne može biti tako velik kao zločin onih koji tu slobodu uskraćuju.", Erich Fromm). Naravno, ovo nije kritika djelima kipara Kuzme Kovačića nego njegovoj uobrazilji da se umjetnost definara samo "sdesna" (a niti samo "slijeva") jer definirati znači ograničiti baš kao što je i ovo njegovo negodovanje, a sve pod okriljem zaštite autorskih prava - miščjenja je Bogović

Tomislav Bogović, potpredsjednik Udruga antifašista i antifašističkih boraca Splita reagirao je na izjavu akademskog kipara Kuzme Kovačića koji se usprotivio upisivanju Dana oslobođenja Splita na štandarac na Pjaci, budući da je riječ o njegovu autorskom djelu, o čemu je samo izvješćen od gradskih vlasti, a nikakvih drugih konzultacija koje bi autorska prava podrazumijevala, nije bilo:
- Je li zaista riječ o nasilju ili je autor štandarca Kuzma Kovačić, braneći svoja politička uvjerenja (što mu nitko ne osporava), htio ostaviti trag u medijskom prostoru kako ga istomišljenici "zdesna" ne bi razapeli za ideološku šutnju? Sad već prepoznatljiva antiteza o danu 26. listopada 1944. godine kao komunističkoj okupaciji Splita, a ne danu oslobođenju Splita od fašizma, poprima obrise i u ovom prigodnom obraćanju Kuzme Kovačića.

Kipar, koji je izašao "iz tame komunističkoga beznađa" i kome smeta "isključivost ideološke i političke naravi (slijeva) koja se prenosi na polje umjetnosti", bio bi, u odnosu na svoj umjetnički opus, vjerojatno sretniji s natpisom "10.4.1941. Proglašena je Nezavisna država Hrvatska". A o njegovoj uključivosti ideološke i političke naravi (sdesna) govore brojna kiparska djela: - spomenik dr. Franji Tuđmanu u Škabrnji (ne dovodim u pitanje otvoreno protivljenje ustaštvu prvog hrvatskog predsjednika već krajnje desnu političku orijentaciju), spomenik Gojku Šušku u Širokom Brijegu, spomenik hrvatskoj slobodi u Čapljini (kakva je to sloboda ako je samo hrvatska), kip bl. Alojzija Stepinca u Zagrebu, oltar na Bleiburškom polju...
Dok, prema riječima kipara, "komunistički partizanski spomenici slave veliki zločin - pola milijuna ubijenih Hrvata" ("Nijedan zločin koji se počini za slobodu ne može biti tako velik kao zločin onih koji tu slobodu uskraćuju.", Erich Fromm). Naravno, ovo nije kritika djelima kipara Kuzme Kovačića nego njegovoj uobrazilji da se umjetnost definara samo "sdesna" (a niti samo "slijeva") jer definirati znači ograničiti baš kao što je i ovo njegovo negodovanje, a sve pod okriljem zaštite autorskih prava - miščjenja je Bogović
