Uspješnim izvođenjem prvog operativnog zahvata - ugradnje potpune proteze ramena obavljenim u srijedu na Klinici za ortopediju splitskog KBC-a, Split je postao treći centar u Hrvatskoj, poslije Zagreba i Lovrana, u kojemu je moguće obaviti ovu tehnički zahtjevnu operaciju.

Zahvaljujući liječničkom timu predvođenom dr. Josipom Bekavcem, dva 56-godišnja pacijenta koja su zbog degenerativnih promjena ramenog zgloba trpjeli jake bolove, nakon dvosatne operacije dobila su totalnu endoprotezu ramena koja će im, nakon oporavka, omogućiti nastavak života bez bolova i vratiti pokretljivost ruke.

Duge pripreme

Prema riječima dr. Bekavca, nakon dugih priprema, liječnički tim splitskog KBC-a, s ravnateljem Dujomirom Marasovićem na čelu, ostvario je sve uvjete da pacijenti zbog ove vrste zahvata - koja je daleko složenija od endoproteze, primjerice, kuka ili koljena - ne moraju više putovati u druge klinike.

Uz degenerativne promjene, najčešće indikacije za ugradnju potpune endoproteze ili ‘‘umjetnog ramena’’ su posljedice trauma, primjerice, kod prometnih nesreća. Prvi pacijenti koji su podvrgnuti posve novom zahvatu u splitskom KBC-u, Stipan Buljan i Zvonko Čarapina, dobro se osjećaju i oporavljaju.

- Prije operacije nisam mogao od bolova ni raditi ni spavati, da o nepokretljivosti ruke i ne govorim - kazao nam je dan nakon operacije pacijent Buljan koji se nada da će vrlo skoro njegovo rame ponovno biti kao novo. I drugi operirani pacijent, Zvonko Čarapina, osjeća se dobro i već razmišlja o odlasku kući.

Novi zahvati kad su pokidane sve tetive

Nakon ugradnje potpune endoproteze ramena, splitski se KBC priprema za još jedan inovativan operacijski zahvat. Kako najavljuje dr. Bekavac, riječ je o ugradnji inverzne totalne proteze kod najtežih slučajeva artroze ramenog zgloba kad su pokidane sve tetive. Taj se novi operativni zahvat planira prvi put obaviti početkom iduće godine.

 

Potpora kolega

U ovom novom operativnom zahvatu na koji je Split dugo čekao, splitskim je liječnicima iskustvena potpora pri operaciji bio i zagrebački kolega dr. Ivan Benčić iz Draškovićeve, a sudjelovali su i dr. Joško Vidović i dr. Darko Sršen. Za operativnim stolom vrijednu su pomoć pružile instrumentalke Ines Puljiz, č.s. Zorana Gabrilo i Tončica Galić.

Uspješnim izvođenjem prvog operativnog zahvata - ugradnje potpune proteze ramena obavljenim u srijedu na Klinici za ortopediju splitskog KBC-a, Split je postao treći centar u Hrvatskoj, poslije Zagreba i Lovrana, u kojemu je moguće obaviti ovu tehnički zahtjevnu operaciju.

Zahvaljujući liječničkom timu predvođenom dr. Josipom Bekavcem, dva 56-godišnja pacijenta koja su zbog degenerativnih promjena ramenog zgloba trpjeli jake bolove, nakon dvosatne operacije dobila su totalnu endoprotezu ramena koja će im, nakon oporavka, omogućiti nastavak života bez bolova i vratiti pokretljivost ruke.

Duge pripreme

Prema riječima dr. Bekavca, nakon dugih priprema, liječnički tim splitskog KBC-a, s ravnateljem Dujomirom Marasovićem na čelu, ostvario je sve uvjete da pacijenti zbog ove vrste zahvata - koja je daleko složenija od endoproteze, primjerice, kuka ili koljena - ne moraju više putovati u druge klinike.

Uz degenerativne promjene, najčešće indikacije za ugradnju potpune endoproteze ili ‘‘umjetnog ramena’’ su posljedice trauma, primjerice, kod prometnih nesreća. Prvi pacijenti koji su podvrgnuti posve novom zahvatu u splitskom KBC-u, Stipan Buljan i Zvonko Čarapina, dobro se osjećaju i oporavljaju.

- Prije operacije nisam mogao od bolova ni raditi ni spavati, da o nepokretljivosti ruke i ne govorim - kazao nam je dan nakon operacije pacijent Buljan koji se nada da će vrlo skoro njegovo rame ponovno biti kao novo. I drugi operirani pacijent, Zvonko Čarapina, osjeća se dobro i već razmišlja o odlasku kući.

Novi zahvati kad su pokidane sve tetive

Nakon ugradnje potpune endoproteze ramena, splitski se KBC priprema za još jedan inovativan operacijski zahvat. Kako najavljuje dr. Bekavac, riječ je o ugradnji inverzne totalne proteze kod najtežih slučajeva artroze ramenog zgloba kad su pokidane sve tetive. Taj se novi operativni zahvat planira prvi put obaviti početkom iduće godine.

 

Potpora kolega

U ovom novom operativnom zahvatu na koji je Split dugo čekao, splitskim je liječnicima iskustvena potpora pri operaciji bio i zagrebački kolega dr. Ivan Benčić iz Draškovićeve, a sudjelovali su i dr. Joško Vidović i dr. Darko Sršen. Za operativnim stolom vrijednu su pomoć pružile instrumentalke Ines Puljiz, č.s. Zorana Gabrilo i Tončica Galić.
