Maja Đerek je činovnica. Službenici zaposleni u gradskoj upravi obično nisu ni na margini javnog interesa. Samozatajno se bave svojim poslovima, publicitet niti traže niti ga dobivaju, jer običan svijet nije zainteresiran za svakodnevicu ljudi koji se bave sastavljanjem i potpisivanjem suhoparnih dokumenata.
No Maje Đerek pune su novine i portali, u medijima je češće negoli mnogi popularni pjevači ili nogometaši. Njoj, naime, nije dovoljno biti samo činovnica, ona bi htjela da joj javnost prizna status pravednice, lokalne inačice Wonder Woman koja nepokolebljivo i ludo odvažno popravlja svijet oko nas. Ma čak joj je i to malo, pa bi htjela da je doživljavamo i kao mučenicu koja se izlaže strašnim opasnostima jer je stala na žulj nekretninskim mešetarima, ustvari mafiji koja ne bira sredstva da bi zaštitila svoje kriminalne interese.

Trebala bi se, međutim, malo više potruditi ako nas želi uvjeriti u to, jer je do sada nagazila samo dvije postarije žene, jednu s teškom dijagnozom (ona je u utorak preminula i vrlo uviđajno napustila nekretninu), a drugu s krivim karijernim izborom. Potonja je, naime, mislila da se u gradu koji je kolijevka hrvatske pismenosti može živjeti, pa makar i loše, od prodaje starih knjiga. Ako su dotične dame (bile) na čelu moćne razbojničke falange, onda mi živimo u najboljem od svih mogućih svjetova.
Osim što je tim ženama potezom pera život pretvorila u egzistencijalnu noćnu mora, on ih je izvrgnula i nezabilježenom, serijskom javnom sramoćenju, u nastavcima ih prokazujući kao duboko nemoralne osobe. Svakoga sa zrncem empatije to je moralo rastužiti, ali što tek reći za slučaj stopostotnog invalida Borisa Rakića kojega želi deložirati iz podrumskog stančića jer je ustanovila da su njegovi ukućani sudjelovali u prometu nekretninama nasljeđujući udjele u stanovima, a pritom nimalo ne mareći za sve složene i teške socijalne priče koje svaki taj udjel pretpostavlja?

Umjesto da sagleda problem u nepodnošljivo sumornoj cjelini i evidentira očito - da je Borisu Rakiću život dovoljno težak i bez nje - ona je ljudsku tragediju pretvorila u matematički problem koji je spretno riješila uz pomoć logaritamskih tablica. Ma bravo! Čovjeku koji je do jučer imao dovoljno razloga vjerovati kako ga je sudbina zakucala na samo dno, Đerek je poručila da nije pao dovoljno nisko, pa je pod njim prokopala još jednu etažu.
Boris Rakić boluje od spinalne mišićne atrofije. Ako ne znate koliko je ta dijagnoza strašna, slobodno proguglajte, iako vam to ne bih preporučio, uznemirit ćete se. Poslije svega, ne mogu uteći dojmu kako Maja Đerek boluje od moralne atrofije.

Maja Đerek je činovnica. Službenici zaposleni u gradskoj upravi obično nisu ni na margini javnog interesa. Samozatajno se bave svojim poslovima, publicitet niti traže niti ga dobivaju, jer običan svijet nije zainteresiran za svakodnevicu ljudi koji se bave sastavljanjem i potpisivanjem suhoparnih dokumenata.
No Maje Đerek pune su novine i portali, u medijima je češće negoli mnogi popularni pjevači ili nogometaši. Njoj, naime, nije dovoljno biti samo činovnica, ona bi htjela da joj javnost prizna status pravednice, lokalne inačice Wonder Woman koja nepokolebljivo i ludo odvažno popravlja svijet oko nas. Ma čak joj je i to malo, pa bi htjela da je doživljavamo i kao mučenicu koja se izlaže strašnim opasnostima jer je stala na žulj nekretninskim mešetarima, ustvari mafiji koja ne bira sredstva da bi zaštitila svoje kriminalne interese.

Trebala bi se, međutim, malo više potruditi ako nas želi uvjeriti u to, jer je do sada nagazila samo dvije postarije žene, jednu s teškom dijagnozom (ona je u utorak preminula i vrlo uviđajno napustila nekretninu), a drugu s krivim karijernim izborom. Potonja je, naime, mislila da se u gradu koji je kolijevka hrvatske pismenosti može živjeti, pa makar i loše, od prodaje starih knjiga. Ako su dotične dame (bile) na čelu moćne razbojničke falange, onda mi živimo u najboljem od svih mogućih svjetova.
Osim što je tim ženama potezom pera život pretvorila u egzistencijalnu noćnu mora, on ih je izvrgnula i nezabilježenom, serijskom javnom sramoćenju, u nastavcima ih prokazujući kao duboko nemoralne osobe. Svakoga sa zrncem empatije to je moralo rastužiti, ali što tek reći za slučaj stopostotnog invalida Borisa Rakića kojega želi deložirati iz podrumskog stančića jer je ustanovila da su njegovi ukućani sudjelovali u prometu nekretninama nasljeđujući udjele u stanovima, a pritom nimalo ne mareći za sve složene i teške socijalne priče koje svaki taj udjel pretpostavlja?

Umjesto da sagleda problem u nepodnošljivo sumornoj cjelini i evidentira očito - da je Borisu Rakiću život dovoljno težak i bez nje - ona je ljudsku tragediju pretvorila u matematički problem koji je spretno riješila uz pomoć logaritamskih tablica. Ma bravo! Čovjeku koji je do jučer imao dovoljno razloga vjerovati kako ga je sudbina zakucala na samo dno, Đerek je poručila da nije pao dovoljno nisko, pa je pod njim prokopala još jednu etažu.
Boris Rakić boluje od spinalne mišićne atrofije. Ako ne znate koliko je ta dijagnoza strašna, slobodno proguglajte, iako vam to ne bih preporučio, uznemirit ćete se. Poslije svega, ne mogu uteći dojmu kako Maja Đerek boluje od moralne atrofije.
