Nakon što je jaki vjetar prošlog tjedna uništio dotrajalu veliku kupolu zvjezdarnice "Zvjezdanog" sela Mosor u Gornjem Sitnom, tijekom proteklih nekoliko dana je izvršena brza sanacija krovišta zvjezdarnice, a kako bi se spriječilo oštećenje objekta prodorom kišnice.
- Krš preostao nakon urušavanja kupole je prvo izrezan i uklonjen. Vrata kupole, koja su ostala više-manje u jednom komadu, skinuta su s terase zvjezdarnice autodizalicom. Prostor u kojemu se kupola nalazila je nakon toga očišćen, te je na kružni zid na kojega se kupola naslanjala ugrađena nosiva konstrukcija od željeznih cijevi.
Na koncu su na te cijevi postavljene ploče od valovitog lima, koje će poslužiti kao privremena, ali ipak trajnija zaštita objekta od kiše. Kako je niskog profila i solidne izvedbe, za očekivati je da će konstrukcija izdržati nove jake udare vjetra - kazao je Tomislav Nikolić, tajnik Zvjezdanog sela "Mosor".
Zahvalio se Gradu Splitu, a posebice gradonačelniku Andri Krstuloviću Opari, bez čije pomoći, kaže, ne bi bilo moguće provesti ovaj interventni zahvat.
- U suradnji s Gradom Splitom, Splitsko-dalmatinskom županijom, Sveučilištem u Splitu, Hrvatskom zajednicom tehničke kulture, Ministarstvom znanosti i obrazovanja, te svim ostalim institucijama i tvrtkama koje budu voljne pomoći, Zvjezdano selo Mosor će poduzeti sve potrebne radnje kako bi u što kraćem roku bila nabavljena nova velika kupola za zvjezdarnicu u Gornjem Sitnom -najavio je Nikolić.
U međuvremenu, Udruga će nastaviti sa svim dosadašnjim aktivnostima, poput Male škole astronomije, Škole u prirodi za učenike osnovnih i srednjih škola, provedbe javnih astronomskih promatranja neba teleskopom te sudjelovanja u manifestacijama poput Dana tehničke kulture, Festivala znanosti ili Festivala tehničke kulture. U dogledno vrijeme, nastavit će se i s praksom primanja posjetitelja u večernjim satima petkom i subotom, a uz uporabu manjih teleskopa.

Nakon što je jaki vjetar prošlog tjedna uništio dotrajalu veliku kupolu zvjezdarnice "Zvjezdanog" sela Mosor u Gornjem Sitnom, tijekom proteklih nekoliko dana je izvršena brza sanacija krovišta zvjezdarnice, a kako bi se spriječilo oštećenje objekta prodorom kišnice.
- Krš preostao nakon urušavanja kupole je prvo izrezan i uklonjen. Vrata kupole, koja su ostala više-manje u jednom komadu, skinuta su s terase zvjezdarnice autodizalicom. Prostor u kojemu se kupola nalazila je nakon toga očišćen, te je na kružni zid na kojega se kupola naslanjala ugrađena nosiva konstrukcija od željeznih cijevi.
Na koncu su na te cijevi postavljene ploče od valovitog lima, koje će poslužiti kao privremena, ali ipak trajnija zaštita objekta od kiše. Kako je niskog profila i solidne izvedbe, za očekivati je da će konstrukcija izdržati nove jake udare vjetra - kazao je Tomislav Nikolić, tajnik Zvjezdanog sela "Mosor".
Zahvalio se Gradu Splitu, a posebice gradonačelniku Andri Krstuloviću Opari, bez čije pomoći, kaže, ne bi bilo moguće provesti ovaj interventni zahvat.
- U suradnji s Gradom Splitom, Splitsko-dalmatinskom županijom, Sveučilištem u Splitu, Hrvatskom zajednicom tehničke kulture, Ministarstvom znanosti i obrazovanja, te svim ostalim institucijama i tvrtkama koje budu voljne pomoći, Zvjezdano selo Mosor će poduzeti sve potrebne radnje kako bi u što kraćem roku bila nabavljena nova velika kupola za zvjezdarnicu u Gornjem Sitnom -najavio je Nikolić.
U međuvremenu, Udruga će nastaviti sa svim dosadašnjim aktivnostima, poput Male škole astronomije, Škole u prirodi za učenike osnovnih i srednjih škola, provedbe javnih astronomskih promatranja neba teleskopom te sudjelovanja u manifestacijama poput Dana tehničke kulture, Festivala znanosti ili Festivala tehničke kulture. U dogledno vrijeme, nastavit će se i s praksom primanja posjetitelja u večernjim satima petkom i subotom, a uz uporabu manjih teleskopa.
