Ivan Strinić još se nije službeno oprostio od nogometa, ali naravno, prati, nogomet, reprezentaciju posebno, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Da, službeno još nisam objavio oproštaj, ali ne razmišljam previše o tome, ne razbijam glavu. Ako štogod uleti, dobro, ako ne, opet dobro. U svakom slučaju, bit ću u nedjelju na Poljudu, naravno - priča Strinić, jedan od naših 'Srebrnih', jedan od aktera one utakmice s Rusima na Mundijalu. Kako bi mogao zaboraviti taj dvoboj?

- Bilo je teško, ali na kraju uspješno. Pun stadion, veliki dio navijača na njihovoj strani, to ih je nosilo. Gubili smo, okrenuli, oni se vratili, na kraju ti penali... Ma, pamtit ću uvijek tu utakmicu, naravno. Još jedan dokaz kako su Rusi dobra, čvrsta reprezentacija, nije ih lako slomiti.

Baš smo htjeli pitati. Nikad ih dosad nismo pobijedili u 90 minuta, osim u jednoj prijateljskoj utakmici. A uvijek nam se i prije i poslije susreta čini da smo bolji, da smo ih nadigrali, da su nam se provukli?

- Slažem se, dojam je i sad da smo bolji, da imamo više kvalitetnih igrača. Međutim, ne zaboravimo, Rusi su velesila, imaju široku bazu igrača, uvijek imaju adute da budu ozbilljna reprezentacija. I sad su dobri, Karpin ih je posložio, ne očekujem na Poljudu laku utakmicu i jednostavnu pobjedu. Ali, vidim puno dobrih stvari kod nas zbog kojih sam optimist.

Koji su to detalji koji ga čine optimistom?

- Vidi se da Hrvatska raste, da igra sve bolje. Naglašavao sam i ranije da ne treba očekivati nakon Mundijala da će sve ići glatko, stvari su se mijenjale, došli su novi igrači i trebalo je neko vrijeme da stvari sjednu na svoje mjesto. Čini mi se da se sad sve posložilo, ovi mladi koji su došli, donijeli su svježu krv, svi su se jako dobro uklopili, Hrvatska sad već u kontinuitetu igra dobro. Uz to, vidim da je u momčadi opet odlična kohezija, pozitivna atmosfera. A i ne zaboravimo, Hrvatska je uvijek najbolja kad je potrebno, kad visi mač nad glavom, uvijek nađemo put do pobjede.

Kakav bi Strinić bio Splićanin kad ne bi istaknuo i Poljud kao adut?

- Svakako, to što se igra na Poljudu jest najbolja stvar. Svaka čast svima, Zagrebu, Osijeku, Rijeci..., ali siguran sam da će atmosfera na Poljudu biti najbolja za ovakvu utakmicu i da će nas gurati do pobjede. Igrao sam i ja na Poljudu za reprezentaciju, znam kako to izgleda, ali, istina, nisam igrao ovako važnu utakmicu pa mogu pretpostaviti kakav će biti spektakl.

Znači, da može sad birati da odigra još jednu utakmicu za Hrvatsku bi li to bila baš ova s Rusima?

- Svakako, bila bi ta! Iako, nije baš izvjesno da će se dogoditi, haha.

Samo da ta euforija i miris spektakla ne postanu uteg, pritisak na leđima Hrvatske. Znalo se i to događati?

- Istina, dosta je mladih igrača u našoj reprezentaciji, ima onih koji još nisu igrali takvu utakmicu u takvoj atmosferi. Međutim, vjerujem kako će ipak sve na kraju biti pozitivno, kako ćemo napokon pobijediti Ruse u 90 minuta i svi zajedno proslaviti - zaključio je Strinić u razgovoru za Sportske novosti.

Ivan Strinić još se nije službeno oprostio od nogometa, ali naravno, prati, nogomet, reprezentaciju posebno, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Da, službeno još nisam objavio oproštaj, ali ne razmišljam previše o tome, ne razbijam glavu. Ako štogod uleti, dobro, ako ne, opet dobro. U svakom slučaju, bit ću u nedjelju na Poljudu, naravno - priča Strinić, jedan od naših 'Srebrnih', jedan od aktera one utakmice s Rusima na Mundijalu. Kako bi mogao zaboraviti taj dvoboj?

- Bilo je teško, ali na kraju uspješno. Pun stadion, veliki dio navijača na njihovoj strani, to ih je nosilo. Gubili smo, okrenuli, oni se vratili, na kraju ti penali... Ma, pamtit ću uvijek tu utakmicu, naravno. Još jedan dokaz kako su Rusi dobra, čvrsta reprezentacija, nije ih lako slomiti.

Baš smo htjeli pitati. Nikad ih dosad nismo pobijedili u 90 minuta, osim u jednoj prijateljskoj utakmici. A uvijek nam se i prije i poslije susreta čini da smo bolji, da smo ih nadigrali, da su nam se provukli?

- Slažem se, dojam je i sad da smo bolji, da imamo više kvalitetnih igrača. Međutim, ne zaboravimo, Rusi su velesila, imaju široku bazu igrača, uvijek imaju adute da budu ozbilljna reprezentacija. I sad su dobri, Karpin ih je posložio, ne očekujem na Poljudu laku utakmicu i jednostavnu pobjedu. Ali, vidim puno dobrih stvari kod nas zbog kojih sam optimist.

Koji su to detalji koji ga čine optimistom?

- Vidi se da Hrvatska raste, da igra sve bolje. Naglašavao sam i ranije da ne treba očekivati nakon Mundijala da će sve ići glatko, stvari su se mijenjale, došli su novi igrači i trebalo je neko vrijeme da stvari sjednu na svoje mjesto. Čini mi se da se sad sve posložilo, ovi mladi koji su došli, donijeli su svježu krv, svi su se jako dobro uklopili, Hrvatska sad već u kontinuitetu igra dobro. Uz to, vidim da je u momčadi opet odlična kohezija, pozitivna atmosfera. A i ne zaboravimo, Hrvatska je uvijek najbolja kad je potrebno, kad visi mač nad glavom, uvijek nađemo put do pobjede.

Kakav bi Strinić bio Splićanin kad ne bi istaknuo i Poljud kao adut?

- Svakako, to što se igra na Poljudu jest najbolja stvar. Svaka čast svima, Zagrebu, Osijeku, Rijeci..., ali siguran sam da će atmosfera na Poljudu biti najbolja za ovakvu utakmicu i da će nas gurati do pobjede. Igrao sam i ja na Poljudu za reprezentaciju, znam kako to izgleda, ali, istina, nisam igrao ovako važnu utakmicu pa mogu pretpostaviti kakav će biti spektakl.

Znači, da može sad birati da odigra još jednu utakmicu za Hrvatsku bi li to bila baš ova s Rusima?

- Svakako, bila bi ta! Iako, nije baš izvjesno da će se dogoditi, haha.

Samo da ta euforija i miris spektakla ne postanu uteg, pritisak na leđima Hrvatske. Znalo se i to događati?

- Istina, dosta je mladih igrača u našoj reprezentaciji, ima onih koji još nisu igrali takvu utakmicu u takvoj atmosferi. Međutim, vjerujem kako će ipak sve na kraju biti pozitivno, kako ćemo napokon pobijediti Ruse u 90 minuta i svi zajedno proslaviti - zaključio je Strinić u razgovoru za Sportske novosti.

Ivan Strinić još se nije službeno oprostio od nogometa, ali naravno, prati, nogomet, reprezentaciju posebno, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Da, službeno još nisam objavio oproštaj, ali ne razmišljam previše o tome, ne razbijam glavu. Ako štogod uleti, dobro, ako ne, opet dobro. U svakom slučaju, bit ću u nedjelju na Poljudu, naravno - priča Strinić, jedan od naših 'Srebrnih', jedan od aktera one utakmice s Rusima na Mundijalu. Kako bi mogao zaboraviti taj dvoboj?

- Bilo je teško, ali na kraju uspješno. Pun stadion, veliki dio navijača na njihovoj strani, to ih je nosilo. Gubili smo, okrenuli, oni se vratili, na kraju ti penali... Ma, pamtit ću uvijek tu utakmicu, naravno. Još jedan dokaz kako su Rusi dobra, čvrsta reprezentacija, nije ih lako slomiti.
