Sudbina je tako htjela, na dan Svetog Ivana Krstitelja umro je - šjor Ivan. Tomislav Ivić. Braco, Mali Napoleon, a najčešće za bliske osobe iz baluna samo - Ivan.

Šest dana prije rođendana, a 30. lipnja 1933. je rođen, umro je najveći naš nogometni trener. Za šest dana imao bi Ivić okrugli 90. rođendan.

Veliki su i ovaj i onaj, da ne nabrajamo. Odabir može bit i jest - subjektivan, ali Ivić je za mnoge, pa i za vašeg kroničara na pijedestalu – najboljeg.

Tome u prilog lako je podastrijet – wikipediju. Gdje je sve bio, što je osvojio. Popis je, znate i sami, predug, nesvakidašnje opsežan.

I svake godine, a evo ih je 12 prošlo da je umro na današnji dan, sjetimo se tog tužnog trenutka. Obilježimo makar s nekoliko toplih rečenica uspomenu na izuzetnog nogometnog trenera, učitelja i taktičara, koji je utisnuo pečat silnih ostvarenja, a ne samo u Hajduku.

Nastojimo pobjeći od patetike, ali nije nam to lako, obuzmu vas sjećanja i uspomene što naprosto ne blijede, pa neka godine bezobrazno i neumitno prolaze.

Velike obljetnice

I baš je preminuo u godini 100. rođendana Hajduka, u trenutku velike obljetnice: tužna vijest u svečanim danima, Tomislav Ivić je umro na današnji dan, 24. lipnja 2011. godine.

Jednom riječju Ivić je bio - genij, daleko ispred svog vremena, statistika će kazati kako je osvojio s Hajdukom tri titule prvaka i četiri kupa, bio je prvak i u Belgiji (Anderlecht), Nizozemskoj (Ajax) i Portugalu (Porto), k tome je osvojio europski Superkup i Interkontinentalni kup s Portom (u Tokiju protiv Penarola), srebro na prvenstvu Azije s Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima. Bio je trener i u Turskoj, Španjolskoj, Grčkoj, Italiji, Turskoj, Iranu, Saudijskoj Arabiji...

Istaknut će se u knjigama i da je 1994. u Palermu kao izbornik "vatrenih” svladao Italiju, viceprvaka svijeta sa 2:1, što mu je bila jedina utakmica za kormilom Hrvatske da bude baš kao trener. Inače je bio na funkciji direktora reprezentacije, a tom prigodom Miroslav Ćiro Blažević je bio kažnjen pa se Ivić uhvatio zadatka. Upečatljiva je bila utakmica, prije skoro 29 godina, ali i danas se često spominje. Talijanski novinari ocijenili su je kao Ivićevo remek-djelo u nadmetanju s drugim vrsnim taktičarom koji je mijenjao pogled na nogomet. S druge strane, naime, nalazio se osobito poznati i priznati Arrigo Sacchi. Još jedan inovator i genij. Bilo je 2:1 za Ivića na terenu svjetskih doprvaka na Siciliji.

Nostradamus

Tomislav Ivić ima vitirinu u Hajduku, otvorenu prije dvije godine, na desetu obljetnicu smrti. Nema muzej. Ali kafić Nostradamus, na Ujevićevoj poljani u Splitu (nekoć poznatoj kao Cankareva), takvo je mjesto poput njegova muzeja. Tu su mnoge uspomene i relikvije iz Ivićeve karijere, sve što nije u Hajdukovoj vitrini, tu je, poviriti unutra znači osvježiti sjećanja na desetljeća blistave i neponovljive karijere. A nekom posebno tankoćutnom hajdukovcu, namjerniku i suza bi mogla na oku. Ganuće da ga obuzme kad pogleda sve te slike, posebice „zlatne generacije” Hajdukove.

O Iviću je toliko toga rečeno i napisano, ostaje rečenica njegove supruge Regine koja je kazala.

- Imao je samo dvije ljubavi kojima je posvetio sav svoj život. Hajduka i svoju familiju.

Istina je i to, Ivić je ponikao u redovima Splita, među "crvenima” i to je uvijek rado isticao, baš kao i njegova desna ruka Stanko Poklepović Špaco, koji je također iz Splita izrastao.

Zato je ovih dana posebno odjeknula vijest da je za trenera Splita došao Ivićev unuk Roko Kurtović. Pa neka su „crveni” četvrta liga, ima u tome neke posebne mistike, da jabuka ne pada daleko na stabla.

Na godišnjicu smrti nezaboravnog šjor Ivana, bilo bi mu tako drag znati da se unuk njegov Roko trudi nastaviti njegovim stopama...

Sudbina je tako htjela, na dan Svetog Ivana Krstitelja umro je - šjor Ivan. Tomislav Ivić. Braco, Mali Napoleon, a najčešće za bliske osobe iz baluna samo - Ivan.

Šest dana prije rođendana, a 30. lipnja 1933. je rođen, umro je najveći naš nogometni trener. Za šest dana imao bi Ivić okrugli 90. rođendan.

Veliki su i ovaj i onaj, da ne nabrajamo. Odabir može bit i jest - subjektivan, ali Ivić je za mnoge, pa i za vašeg kroničara na pijedestalu – najboljeg.

Tome u prilog lako je podastrijet – wikipediju. Gdje je sve bio, što je osvojio. Popis je, znate i sami, predug, nesvakidašnje opsežan.

I svake godine, a evo ih je 12 prošlo da je umro na današnji dan, sjetimo se tog tužnog trenutka. Obilježimo makar s nekoliko toplih rečenica uspomenu na izuzetnog nogometnog trenera, učitelja i taktičara, koji je utisnuo pečat silnih ostvarenja, a ne samo u Hajduku.

Nastojimo pobjeći od patetike, ali nije nam to lako, obuzmu vas sjećanja i uspomene što naprosto ne blijede, pa neka godine bezobrazno i neumitno prolaze.

Velike obljetnice

I baš je preminuo u godini 100. rođendana Hajduka, u trenutku velike obljetnice: tužna vijest u svečanim danima, Tomislav Ivić je umro na današnji dan, 24. lipnja 2011. godine.

Jednom riječju Ivić je bio - genij, daleko ispred svog vremena, statistika će kazati kako je osvojio s Hajdukom tri titule prvaka i četiri kupa, bio je prvak i u Belgiji (Anderlecht), Nizozemskoj (Ajax) i Portugalu (Porto), k tome je osvojio europski Superkup i Interkontinentalni kup s Portom (u Tokiju protiv Penarola), srebro na prvenstvu Azije s Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima. Bio je trener i u Turskoj, Španjolskoj, Grčkoj, Italiji, Turskoj, Iranu, Saudijskoj Arabiji...

Istaknut će se u knjigama i da je 1994. u Palermu kao izbornik "vatrenih” svladao Italiju, viceprvaka svijeta sa 2:1, što mu je bila jedina utakmica za kormilom Hrvatske da bude baš kao trener. Inače je bio na funkciji direktora reprezentacije, a tom prigodom Miroslav Ćiro Blažević je bio kažnjen pa se Ivić uhvatio zadatka. Upečatljiva je bila utakmica, prije skoro 29 godina, ali i danas se često spominje. Talijanski novinari ocijenili su je kao Ivićevo remek-djelo u nadmetanju s drugim vrsnim taktičarom koji je mijenjao pogled na nogomet. S druge strane, naime, nalazio se osobito poznati i priznati Arrigo Sacchi. Još jedan inovator i genij. Bilo je 2:1 za Ivića na terenu svjetskih doprvaka na Siciliji.

Nostradamus

Tomislav Ivić ima vitirinu u Hajduku, otvorenu prije dvije godine, na desetu obljetnicu smrti. Nema muzej. Ali kafić Nostradamus, na Ujevićevoj poljani u Splitu (nekoć poznatoj kao Cankareva), takvo je mjesto poput njegova muzeja. Tu su mnoge uspomene i relikvije iz Ivićeve karijere, sve što nije u Hajdukovoj vitrini, tu je, poviriti unutra znači osvježiti sjećanja na desetljeća blistave i neponovljive karijere. A nekom posebno tankoćutnom hajdukovcu, namjerniku i suza bi mogla na oku. Ganuće da ga obuzme kad pogleda sve te slike, posebice „zlatne generacije” Hajdukove.

O Iviću je toliko toga rečeno i napisano, ostaje rečenica njegove supruge Regine koja je kazala.

- Imao je samo dvije ljubavi kojima je posvetio sav svoj život. Hajduka i svoju familiju.

Istina je i to, Ivić je ponikao u redovima Splita, među "crvenima” i to je uvijek rado isticao, baš kao i njegova desna ruka Stanko Poklepović Špaco, koji je također iz Splita izrastao.

Zato je ovih dana posebno odjeknula vijest da je za trenera Splita došao Ivićev unuk Roko Kurtović. Pa neka su „crveni” četvrta liga, ima u tome neke posebne mistike, da jabuka ne pada daleko na stabla.

Na godišnjicu smrti nezaboravnog šjor Ivana, bilo bi mu tako drag znati da se unuk njegov Roko trudi nastaviti njegovim stopama...
