Matea Parlov Koštro, senzacionalna europska viceprvakinja u maratonu rodom je iz Ričica. A znate li što je to pitoreskno mjesto na zapadnom dijelu Imotske krajine dalo do sada? Olimpijske i svjetske prvake. Iz Ričica su boksački šampion Mate Teo Parlov i proslavljeni vaterpolist Josip Pavić. I evo, sada Matea Parlov Koštro, prva hrvatska maratonka na postolju velikog natjecanja.

Pa što je to u tim Ričicama, da njedre šampione? Dovoljno je doći u taj prelijepi dio Imotske krajine i na prvi pogled sve će vam biti jasno. Tu prirodnu ljepotu, klance, jezero, spoj neba, zelenila, mira, dobrih i vrijednih ljudi...

A Ričičanci! Ljudi su to koji su samo privremeno napuštali ovaj raj i odlazili zarađivati kruh vani. Zna se  reći, da ima više prezimena iz Ričica u jednoj ulici u Frankfurtu, nego što ih ima u samim Ričicama, kako u Mainzu ima više Parlova nego primjerice Schmita. No, oni se pomalo vraćaju, ali to je druga priča.

Dan nakon povijesne medalje Matee Parlov Koštro došli smo u Ričice vidjeti kako su ovdje proslavili europsko srebro. Banusmo na poznatog profesora, don Mladena Parlova koji nas je poveo do zaseoka Parlovi.

- Evo, idemo ovdje kod Zorana, susjeda i rodbine naše Matee, tamo se slavi od prvog trenutrka kada je prošla kroz cilj.

Ispred kuće u hladovini odrne za velikim stolom prepunim pića i voća mnogobrojni Parlovi. Zoran, Stanko, Ivica, Suzana, Ana, te Ivan Knežević.

- Matein ćaća je Miroslav, majka Draženka, a brat Josip. Ona se udala za Koštru, tu našega susjeda iz Podbile, skoro se svaki dan čujemo. Ponosni smo na nju, to je naša krv iz Ričica. Slavimo mi zajedno njezinu medalju i blagdan Velike Gospe - kaže nam Zoran Parlov.

Stara kuća Mateinih roditelja je tik uz vodu Zelenog jezera. U kući nema zasada nikoga, ali doći će, vele nam Ričičanci.

- Svi smo ponosni i radosni. Pa to je prva Hrvatica koja je u najtežoj atletskoj disciplini osvojila medalju. Mi imamo i Ričičku grupu na WhatsAppu. Ima nas stotinjak, pratimo i komentiramo svaku njezinu utrku - veli nam don Mladen Parlov.

- Matea je mogla osvojiti i zlato. Ocu je rekla da je najsvježija ušla u cilj. A ćaća je najzaslužniji za njezin uspjeh - naglašava Zoran, te nazove Mateina oca Miroslava koji nam je putem mobitela kazao:

- Najviše sam se plašio onih zavoja u utrci. Tu se malo izgubi vrijeme, ali sam u sebi imao osjećaj da bi mogla među prvih deset. Imala je odlične pripreme, trenirala je bez prestanka. Onda je postigla odličan rezultat u Berlinu kada je srušila hrvatski rekord na 10 km. Potajno sam se nadao medalji, baš kao i izbornik, ali joj to nije htio kazati.

- Dašta da su za uspjeh Matee zaslužni geni Ričica. Mogla je ona i do zlata, da je bilo još dvjesto metara sigurno bi bila prva. Praktički je svježa utrčala u cilj. Matea je sada u europskom vrhu, valja i dalje naporno raditi, trenirati, a rezultati će doći - kaže nam Miroslav, te dodaje:

- Matea će ovih dana doći u svoj rodni kraj, tamo u Imotsku krajinu. Zaslužila je da se malo odmori, trener joj je dao dva tjedna, ali znam ja nju. Nema ona mira, bit će to tjedan dana i onda se opet vraća treninzima.

Čuvši svoga susjeda i rođaka Miroslava Parlova, Zoran još jednom nazdravi u čast Matee. I zaslužila je to Matea Parlov Košto, koja bi se, kažu nam, uskoro mogla naći i na panou na ulazu u Ričice, pored Mate Parlova i Josipa Pavića.

Matea Parlov Koštro, senzacionalna europska viceprvakinja u maratonu rodom je iz Ričica. A znate li što je to pitoreskno mjesto na zapadnom dijelu Imotske krajine dalo do sada? Olimpijske i svjetske prvake. Iz Ričica su boksački šampion Mate Teo Parlov i proslavljeni vaterpolist Josip Pavić. I evo, sada Matea Parlov Koštro, prva hrvatska maratonka na postolju velikog natjecanja.

Pa što je to u tim Ričicama, da njedre šampione? Dovoljno je doći u taj prelijepi dio Imotske krajine i na prvi pogled sve će vam biti jasno. Tu prirodnu ljepotu, klance, jezero, spoj neba, zelenila, mira, dobrih i vrijednih ljudi...

A Ričičanci! Ljudi su to koji su samo privremeno napuštali ovaj raj i odlazili zarađivati kruh vani. Zna se  reći, da ima više prezimena iz Ričica u jednoj ulici u Frankfurtu, nego što ih ima u samim Ričicama, kako u Mainzu ima više Parlova nego primjerice Schmita. No, oni se pomalo vraćaju, ali to je druga priča.

Dan nakon povijesne medalje Matee Parlov Koštro došli smo u Ričice vidjeti kako su ovdje proslavili europsko srebro. Banusmo na poznatog profesora, don Mladena Parlova koji nas je poveo do zaseoka Parlovi.

- Evo, idemo ovdje kod Zorana, susjeda i rodbine naše Matee, tamo se slavi od prvog trenutrka kada je prošla kroz cilj.

Ispred kuće u hladovini odrne za velikim stolom prepunim pića i voća mnogobrojni Parlovi. Zoran, Stanko, Ivica, Suzana, Ana, te Ivan Knežević.

- Matein ćaća je Miroslav, majka Draženka, a brat Josip. Ona se udala za Koštru, tu našega susjeda iz Podbile, skoro se svaki dan čujemo. Ponosni smo na nju, to je naša krv iz Ričica. Slavimo mi zajedno njezinu medalju i blagdan Velike Gospe - kaže nam Zoran Parlov.

Stara kuća Mateinih roditelja je tik uz vodu Zelenog jezera. U kući nema zasada nikoga, ali doći će, vele nam Ričičanci.

- Svi smo ponosni i radosni. Pa to je prva Hrvatica koja je u najtežoj atletskoj disciplini osvojila medalju. Mi imamo i Ričičku grupu na WhatsAppu. Ima nas stotinjak, pratimo i komentiramo svaku njezinu utrku - veli nam don Mladen Parlov.

- Matea je mogla osvojiti i zlato. Ocu je rekla da je najsvježija ušla u cilj. A ćaća je najzaslužniji za njezin uspjeh - naglašava Zoran, te nazove Mateina oca Miroslava koji nam je putem mobitela kazao:

- Najviše sam se plašio onih zavoja u utrci. Tu se malo izgubi vrijeme, ali sam u sebi imao osjećaj da bi mogla među prvih deset. Imala je odlične pripreme, trenirala je bez prestanka. Onda je postigla odličan rezultat u Berlinu kada je srušila hrvatski rekord na 10 km. Potajno sam se nadao medalji, baš kao i izbornik, ali joj to nije htio kazati.

- Dašta da su za uspjeh Matee zaslužni geni Ričica. Mogla je ona i do zlata, da je bilo još dvjesto metara sigurno bi bila prva. Praktički je svježa utrčala u cilj. Matea je sada u europskom vrhu, valja i dalje naporno raditi, trenirati, a rezultati će doći - kaže nam Miroslav, te dodaje:

- Matea će ovih dana doći u svoj rodni kraj, tamo u Imotsku krajinu. Zaslužila je da se malo odmori, trener joj je dao dva tjedna, ali znam ja nju. Nema ona mira, bit će to tjedan dana i onda se opet vraća treninzima.

Čuvši svoga susjeda i rođaka Miroslava Parlova, Zoran još jednom nazdravi u čast Matee. I zaslužila je to Matea Parlov Košto, koja bi se, kažu nam, uskoro mogla naći i na panou na ulazu u Ričice, pored Mate Parlova i Josipa Pavića.
