Hrvatski veslači Martin i Valent Sinković mijenjaju discipline, jezera i natjecanja, ali ne i dobre navike pobjeđivanja. S vremenom 6:09.26 osvojili su zlatnu medalju u dvojcu na pariće na natjecanju prvog  Svjetskog kupa u Beogradu.

U sjajnom finišu, u završnih 250 metara, pobijedili su do tada vodeće Poljake i ušli u cilj sa sekundom i 20 stotinki prednosti. Treće mjesto zauzeli su Španjolci s tri sekunde i 26 stotinki zaostatka.

- Bila je ovo zanimljiva finalna utrka, napeta do samog kraja. Dobro smo krenuli u prvih 1000 metara, bio je dobar osjećaj iako nismo bili sto posto fizički spremni zadnja dva dana, ali dali smo sve od sebe u finišu, iščupali smo maksimum i uspjeli pobijediti. Još je ljepše kad je ovako napeto do samog kraja tako da smo presretni s pobjedom - rekao je Valent Sinković.

- Nema više lagane pobjede. Ja sam imao zadnja dva dana problema s crijevnom virozom, a i prije desetak dana smo oboje bili bolesni tako da smo presretni kako smo uz sve to ipak uspjeli pobijediti. Mislim da možemo i fizički i tehnički još napredovati i vjerujem da hoćemo jer nema više lagane pobjede. Moramo još jače trenirati i nadamo se da ćemo u Poznanu biti na sto posto i odveslati bolje nego sada - rekao je Martin Sinković.

- Očekuje nas još napetih utrka, još jača sezona, neke posade koje tek trebaju doći poput Francuza koji su olimpijski pobjednici. Definitivno ćemo se morati pojačati za drugi dio sezone, posebno za Europsko i Svjetsko prvenstvo, ali spremni smo i idemo trenirati dalje - dodao je Valent Sinković.

Podsjetimo, prošlo je punih šest godina otkako su Sinkovići osvojili nezaboravno olimpijsko zlato u Riju, u disciplini dvojac na pariće. Prešli su nakon toga u dvojac bez kormilara u kojem su također doživjeli olimpijski trijumf prošle godine u Tokiju, a sada su se vratili veslanju s dva vesla u rukama, u čemu su od 2014. do 2016. godine bili apsolutno nepobjedivi.

Braća Sinković i dalje drže svjetski rekord u disciplini dvojac na pariće iz Amsterdama 2014. godine kada su 2000 metara prešli za 5:59.72, što do danas nije nadmašeno.

Sestre Ivana i Josipa Jurković u finalnoj utrci dvojca bez kormilara zauzele su peto mjesto.

Hrvatski veslači Martin i Valent Sinković mijenjaju discipline, jezera i natjecanja, ali ne i dobre navike pobjeđivanja. S vremenom 6:09.26 osvojili su zlatnu medalju u dvojcu na pariće na natjecanju prvog  Svjetskog kupa u Beogradu.

U sjajnom finišu, u završnih 250 metara, pobijedili su do tada vodeće Poljake i ušli u cilj sa sekundom i 20 stotinki prednosti. Treće mjesto zauzeli su Španjolci s tri sekunde i 26 stotinki zaostatka.

- Bila je ovo zanimljiva finalna utrka, napeta do samog kraja. Dobro smo krenuli u prvih 1000 metara, bio je dobar osjećaj iako nismo bili sto posto fizički spremni zadnja dva dana, ali dali smo sve od sebe u finišu, iščupali smo maksimum i uspjeli pobijediti. Još je ljepše kad je ovako napeto do samog kraja tako da smo presretni s pobjedom - rekao je Valent Sinković.

- Nema više lagane pobjede. Ja sam imao zadnja dva dana problema s crijevnom virozom, a i prije desetak dana smo oboje bili bolesni tako da smo presretni kako smo uz sve to ipak uspjeli pobijediti. Mislim da možemo i fizički i tehnički još napredovati i vjerujem da hoćemo jer nema više lagane pobjede. Moramo još jače trenirati i nadamo se da ćemo u Poznanu biti na sto posto i odveslati bolje nego sada - rekao je Martin Sinković.

- Očekuje nas još napetih utrka, još jača sezona, neke posade koje tek trebaju doći poput Francuza koji su olimpijski pobjednici. Definitivno ćemo se morati pojačati za drugi dio sezone, posebno za Europsko i Svjetsko prvenstvo, ali spremni smo i idemo trenirati dalje - dodao je Valent Sinković.

Podsjetimo, prošlo je punih šest godina otkako su Sinkovići osvojili nezaboravno olimpijsko zlato u Riju, u disciplini dvojac na pariće. Prešli su nakon toga u dvojac bez kormilara u kojem su također doživjeli olimpijski trijumf prošle godine u Tokiju, a sada su se vratili veslanju s dva vesla u rukama, u čemu su od 2014. do 2016. godine bili apsolutno nepobjedivi.

Braća Sinković i dalje drže svjetski rekord u disciplini dvojac na pariće iz Amsterdama 2014. godine kada su 2000 metara prešli za 5:59.72, što do danas nije nadmašeno.

Sestre Ivana i Josipa Jurković u finalnoj utrci dvojca bez kormilara zauzele su peto mjesto.

Hrvatski veslači Martin i Valent Sinković mijenjaju discipline, jezera i natjecanja, ali ne i dobre navike pobjeđivanja. S vremenom 6:09.26 osvojili su zlatnu medalju u dvojcu na pariće na natjecanju prvog  Svjetskog kupa u Beogradu.

U sjajnom finišu, u završnih 250 metara, pobijedili su do tada vodeće Poljake i ušli u cilj sa sekundom i 20 stotinki prednosti. Treće mjesto zauzeli su Španjolci s tri sekunde i 26 stotinki zaostatka.

- Bila je ovo zanimljiva finalna utrka, napeta do samog kraja. Dobro smo krenuli u prvih 1000 metara, bio je dobar osjećaj iako nismo bili sto posto fizički spremni zadnja dva dana, ali dali smo sve od sebe u finišu, iščupali smo maksimum i uspjeli pobijediti. Još je ljepše kad je ovako napeto do samog kraja tako da smo presretni s pobjedom - rekao j...
