Predsjednik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomas Bach u petak je, tjedan dana prije otvaranja Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju, još jednom upozorio sportaše kako ne bi trebali koristiti pobjedničko postolje za "političke demonstracije" ili iskazivanje osobnih pogleda. 

"Postolje i svečanosti dodjele medalja nisu tu za bilo kakve političke ili druge demonstacije. Oni su ustanovljeni kako bi se odala počast sportašima na ostvarenim rezultatima. Cilj je okupiti čitav svijet na jednom mjestu kako bi se sportaši mirno međusobno natjecali. To se nikada neće ostvarti ako bude podjela na Igrama", izjavio je Bach u razgovoru za Financial Times.

Ranije ovoga mjeseca MOO je ublažio svoje Pravilo 50 prema kojemu je sportašima bilo zabanjeno bilo kakvo iskazivanje prosvjeda. Sada se to pravilo odnosi samo na pobjedničko postolje, dok na samom borilištu imaju pravo iskazivati svoje stavove ukoliko oni ne vrijeđaju ostale natjecatelje.

Predsjednik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomas Bach u petak je, tjedan dana prije otvaranja Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju, još jednom upozorio sportaše kako ne bi trebali koristiti pobjedničko postolje za "političke demonstracije" ili iskazivanje osobnih pogleda. 

"Postolje i svečanosti dodjele medalja nisu tu za bilo kakve političke ili druge demonstacije. Oni su ustanovljeni kako bi se odala počast sportašima na ostvarenim rezultatima. Cilj je okupiti čitav svijet na jednom mjestu kako bi se sportaši mirno međusobno natjecali. To se nikada neće ostvarti ako bude podjela na Igrama", izjavio je Bach u razgovoru za Financial Times.

Ranije ovoga mjeseca MOO je ublažio svoje Pravilo 50 prema kojemu je sportašima bilo zabanjeno bilo kakvo iskazivanje prosvjeda. Sada se to pravilo odnosi samo na pobjedničko postolje, dok na samom borilištu imaju pravo iskazivati svoje stavove ukoliko oni ne vrijeđaju ostale natjecatelje.

Ne želi ‘podjele na Igrama‘: Thomas Bach upozorio sportaše da ne izražavaju političke stavove na pobjedničkom postolju

Predsjednik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomas Bach u petak je, tjedan dana prije otvaranja Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju, još jednom upozorio sportaše kako ne bi trebali koristiti pobjedničko postolje za "političke demonstracije" ili iskazivanje osobnih pogleda. 

"Postolje i svečanosti dodjele medalja nisu tu za bilo kakve političke ili druge demonstacije. Oni su ustanovljeni kako bi se odala počast sportašima na ostvarenim rezultatima. Cilj je okupiti čitav svijet na jednom mjestu kako bi se sportaši mirno međusobno natjecali. To se nikada neće ostvarti ako bude podjela na Igrama", izjavio je Bach u razgovoru za Financial Times.

Ranije ovoga mjeseca MOO je ublažio svoje Pravilo 50 prema kojemu je sportašima bilo zabanjeno bilo kakvo iskazivanje prosvjeda. Sada se to...
