Veliki dan hrvatskog sporta prilika je da se dodjele nagrade najboljima prema mjerilima i kriterijima HOO-a, nažalost ne uvijek čvrstim i objektivnim, što redovito dovodi do nejasnoća i brojnih kritika.
U izboru najuspješnije hrvatske sportašice, krovno hrvatsko olimpijsko tijelo opet se nije moglo odlučiti, pa je dodijelilo dva priznanja. Takav je trend pokrenut lani i premda je bilo puno negativnih reakcija, nastavljen je i ove godine. Ali samo u ženskoj kategoriji, iz tko zna kojih razloga, pišu Sportske novosti.
Uglavnom, u HOO-u nisu mogli procijeniti imaju li veću težinu svjetska i europska bronca Barbare Matić u judu ili svjetsko zlato Lene Stojković u taekwondou, ali u - neolimpijskoj kategoriji. I kad već nisu znali što će, nagradili su obje.

Nema sumnje, obje djevojke iz Splita su sjajne sportašice, ali ipak postoje kriteriji, uostalom propisao ih je i sam HOO, po kojima se može odrediti koja bi trebala ponijeti titulu sportašice godine.
No tu je još veći kamen spoticanja nešto drugo. Kad su već odlučili da je moguće dodjeljivati više od jednog priznanja po kategoriji, onda moramo reći da je jedan sportaš u toj priči besramno oštećen. I to je odgovornost kako Komisije za izbor najuspješnijih sportaša, tako i Vijeća HOO-a koje je to amenovalo.
Naime, Tin Srbić je ove godine osvojio europsko zlato i svjetsko srebro u bazičnom sportu - gimnastici. Ljudi koji razumiju sport svjesni su koliko je to veliki pothvat. Pitanje je, međutim, poznaju li u Komisiji i Vijeću uopće pojam bazičnog sporta i sve što on nosi sa sobom, ne samo u smislu težine, već i masovnosti i rasprostranjenosti po svijetu. Da, Giovanni Cernogoraz na papiru ima medalje veće težine i kad bi se HOO držao svojih kriterija i birao samo po jednog laureata, rekli bismo - u redu.
Ali ako je kod sportašica odabrao dvije dobitnice, od kojih jedna ostvaruje fantastične uspjehe, ali ipak u neolimpijskoj kategoriji, onda doista ne postoji nikakvo opravdanje ni argument zašto je zaobiđen Srbić koji osvaja medalje u jednom od temeljnih olimpijskih sportova.

Veliki dan hrvatskog sporta prilika je da se dodjele nagrade najboljima prema mjerilima i kriterijima HOO-a, nažalost ne uvijek čvrstim i objektivnim, što redovito dovodi do nejasnoća i brojnih kritika.
U izboru najuspješnije hrvatske sportašice, krovno hrvatsko olimpijsko tijelo opet se nije moglo odlučiti, pa je dodijelilo dva priznanja. Takav je trend pokrenut lani i premda je bilo puno negativnih reakcija, nastavljen je i ove godine. Ali samo u ženskoj kategoriji, iz tko zna kojih razloga, pišu Sportske novosti.
Uglavnom, u HOO-u nisu mogli procijeniti imaju li veću težinu svjetska i europska bronca Barbare Matić u judu ili svjetsko zlato Lene Stojković u taekwondou, ali u - neolimpijskoj kategoriji. I kad već nisu znali što će, nagradili su obje.

Nema sumnje, obje djevojke iz Splita su sjajne sportašice, ali ipak postoje kriteriji, uostalom propisao ih je i sam HOO, po kojima se može odrediti koja bi trebala ponijeti titulu sportašice godine.
No tu je još veći kamen spoticanja nešto drugo. Kad su već odlučili da je moguće dodjeljivati više od jednog priznanja po kategoriji, onda moramo reći da je jedan sportaš u toj priči besramno oštećen. I to je odgovornost kako Komisije za izbor najuspješnijih sportaša, tako i Vijeća HOO-a koje je to amenovalo.
Naime, Tin Srbić je ove godine osvojio europsko zlato i svjetsko srebro u bazičnom sportu - gimnastici. Ljudi koji razumiju sport svjesni su koliko je to veliki pothvat. Pitanje je, međutim, poznaju li u Komisiji i Vijeću uopće pojam bazičnog sporta i sve što on nosi sa sobom, ne samo u smislu težine, već i masovnosti i rasprostranjenosti po svijetu. Da, Giovanni Cernogoraz na papiru ima medalje veće težine i kad bi se HOO držao svojih kriterija i birao samo po jednog laureata, rekli bismo - u redu.
Ali ako je kod sportašica odabrao dvije dobitnice, od kojih jedna ostvaruje fantastične uspjehe, ali ipak u neolimpijskoj kategoriji, onda doista ne postoji nikakvo opravdanje ni argument zašto je zaobiđen Srbić koji osvaja medalje u jednom od temeljnih olimpijskih sportova.
