Svjetski rekorder u skoku s motkom 21-godišnji Šveđanin Armand Duplantis vjeruje da ima još mjesta za napredak i da može nadmašiti rekorde koje je ostvario ove godine. 

U veljači je dva puta rušio dvoranski svjetski rekord. Prvo je 8. veljače preskočio 6,17 metara, a tjedan dana kasnije je u Glasgowu preskočio 6,18 m. Nakon toga je srušio svjetski rekord na otvorenome, kojeg je 26 godina držao legendarni Ukrajinac Sergej Bubka sa preskočenih 6,14 m. Sredinom rujna u Rimu Duplantis je preskočio 6,15 metara.     

"Kad sam kao klinac gledao Bubku on mi je izgledao kao neki mitološki lik koji radi nemoguće stvari. Oboriti njegov svjetski rekord bila mi je glavna motivacija za ovogodišnju sezonu na otvorenom i kad sam to ostvario bio je to poseban osjećaj. No, vjerujem da još ima mjesta za napredak. Koliko visoko? To ne znam, ali siguran sam da mogu bolje", kazao je za britanske medije Duplantis.

 Sergej Bubka, koji je tijekom karijere više od 30 puta rušio svjetski rekord, smatra da Duplantis može preskočiti 6,25 metara.

 Duplantis je napomenuo da ima još jedan veliki san: "Želim osvojiti olimpijsko zlato i to mi je glavni cilj u sljedećoj godini".

Svjetski rekorder u skoku s motkom 21-godišnji Šveđanin Armand Duplantis vjeruje da ima još mjesta za napredak i da može nadmašiti rekorde koje je ostvario ove godine. 

U veljači je dva puta rušio dvoranski svjetski rekord. Prvo je 8. veljače preskočio 6,17 metara, a tjedan dana kasnije je u Glasgowu preskočio 6,18 m. Nakon toga je srušio svjetski rekord na otvorenome, kojeg je 26 godina držao legendarni Ukrajinac Sergej Bubka sa preskočenih 6,14 m. Sredinom rujna u Rimu Duplantis je preskočio 6,15 metara.     

"Kad sam kao klinac gledao Bubku on mi je izgledao kao neki mitološki lik koji radi nemoguće stvari. Oboriti njegov svjetski rekord bila mi je glavna motivacija za ovogodišnju sezonu na otvorenom i kad sam to ostvario bio je to poseban osjećaj. No, vjerujem da još ima mjesta za napredak. Koliko visoko? To ne znam, ali siguran sam da mogu bolje", kazao je za britanske medije Duplantis.

 Sergej Bubka, koji je tijekom karijere više od 30 puta rušio svjetski rekord, smatra da Duplantis može preskočiti 6,25 metara.

 Duplantis je napomenuo da ima još jedan veliki san: "Želim osvojiti olimpijsko zlato i to mi je glavni cilj u sljedećoj godini".

Svjetski rekorder Duplantis uvjeren da može još bolje: Želim osvojiti olimpijsko zlato

Svjetski rekorder u skoku s motkom 21-godišnji Šveđanin Armand Duplantis vjeruje da ima još mjesta za napredak i da može nadmašiti rekorde koje je ostvario ove godine. 

U veljači je dva puta rušio dvoranski svjetski rekord. Prvo je 8. veljače preskočio 6,17 metara, a tjedan dana kasnije je u Glasgowu preskočio 6,18 m. Nakon toga je srušio svjetski rekord na otvorenome, kojeg je 26 godina držao legendarni Ukrajinac Sergej Bubka sa preskočenih 6,14 m. Sredinom rujna u Rimu Duplantis je preskočio 6,15 metara.     

"Kad sam kao klinac gledao Bubku on mi je izgledao kao neki mitološki lik koji radi nemoguće stvari. Oboriti njegov svjetski rekord bila mi je glavna motivacija za ovogodišnju sezonu na otvorenom i kad sam to ostvario bio je to poseban osjećaj. No, vjerujem da jo...
