Nakon nešto više od dva i pol sata leta hrvatska rukometna reprezentacija stigla je u finski gradić Vantaa gdje će u srijedu (18 sati) odigrati prvi susret drugog kruga kvalifikacija za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2023. godine.

U ovom gradu Hrvatska je ispisala jedan dio bogate povijesti, jer je upravo tu odigrala prvi službeni susret. Bilo je to 11. travnja 1993. u kvalifikacijama za Europsko prvenstvo 1994. godine u Portugalu. I pobijedila je tada 31-28. Uzvrat u Zagrebu bio je samo lakši trening jer su hrvatski igrači tada slavili protiv Finske 30-15.

Još jednom je nakon toga Hrvatska gostovala u ovom finskom gradu. Bilo je to 9. lipnja 2009. godine. Ponovno su u pitanju bile kvalifikacije za Europsko prvenstvo, tada za Austriju 2010. godine. Nakon što je u Zagrebu slavila s 19 razlike (39-20), Hrvatska je u uzvratnom susretu pobijedila 34-14. Bila je to u tom trenutku najveća pobjeda uopće u kvalifikacijama za velika natjecanja.

Kao što je poznato, Hrvatska je u Finsku došla bez nekoliko jako važnih igrača. Ozljede su zaustavile nastupe Davida Mandića, Željka Muse, Ivana Čupića, Zvonimira Srne, Luke Šebetića,  Ivana Martinovića i Marina Šipića.

Dobre vijesti su pak, da Luka Cindrić nije upitan, baš kao ni Igor Karačić. Od svog trenera je dobio tri dana poštede da prije okupljanja vidi svoju obitelj, a mnogi mediji su to protumačili kao da je u pitanju ozljeda. Karačić je spreman, prepun elana i volje da nakon propuštenog Europskog prvenstva ponovno pokaže svu raskoš talenta.

- Došli smo u Finsku obaviti posao. Čeka nas zanimljiv izazov, a mi smo spremni. Dobro smo iskoristili ovo vrijeme za uigravanje i vjerujem da ćemo biti pravi. Ne bih volio govoriti tko nam sve nedostaje. Istina je da ima puno novih, mladih igrača u reprezentaciji, ali ja im vjerujem. Treba im još malo vremena za prilagodbu, ali siguran sam da će sve biti dobro - rekao je uoči gostovanja kod Finske Igor Karačić.

Jedan od najjačih aduta hrvatske reprezentacije u ovom trenutku još je dodao.

- Ne smijemo se opustiti i moramo dati gas i maksimalno koncentrirano odigrati kod Finske. Sve je to lančano i ne želimo sebi stvoriti bespotrebne probleme. Ne znam otkuda informacije da sam ozlijeđen. Jedina je istina da nisam odigrao posljednju utakmicu, ali sam dobio poštedu od trenera da vidim svoje najmilije. Ništa drugo.

Izbornik Hrvoje Horvat na raspolaganju ima 18 igrača: tri vratara, četiri krila, tri kružna napadača i osam vanjskih igrača. Najtanja je Hrvatska za sada na desnoj strani koju će držati mladići Luka Lovre Klarica i Mateo Maraš. Ali, njihova forma je odlična i nitko ne sumnja da će vrhunski odraditi ono što se od njih bude tražilo.

Hrvatska želi pobijediti u oba susreta i poslati poruku ne samo svojim navijačima, nego i svijetu da je ponovno tu, moćna i spremna za velike stvari. Naravno da je oprez nužan, ali straha nema. Inače, Finska je samo jednom sudjelovala na velikom natjecanju. Bilo je to Svjetsko prvenstvo, daleke 1958. godine.

Nakon nešto više od dva i pol sata leta hrvatska rukometna reprezentacija stigla je u finski gradić Vantaa gdje će u srijedu (18 sati) odigrati prvi susret drugog kruga kvalifikacija za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2023. godine.

U ovom gradu Hrvatska je ispisala jedan dio bogate povijesti, jer je upravo tu odigrala prvi službeni susret. Bilo je to 11. travnja 1993. u kvalifikacijama za Europsko prvenstvo 1994. godine u Portugalu. I pobijedila je tada 31-28. Uzvrat u Zagrebu bio je samo lakši trening jer su hrvatski igrači tada slavili protiv Finske 30-15.

Još jednom je nakon toga Hrvatska gostovala u ovom finskom gradu. Bilo je to 9. lipnja 2009. godine. Ponovno su u pitanju bile kvalifikacije za Europsko prvenstvo, tada za Austriju 2010. godine. Nakon što je u Zagrebu slavila s 19 razlike (39-20), Hrvatska je u uzvratnom susretu pobijedila 34-14. Bila je to u tom trenutku najveća pobjeda uopće u kvalifikacijama za velika natjecanja.

Kao što je poznato, Hrvatska je u Finsku došla bez nekoliko jako važnih igrača. Ozljede su zaustavile nastupe Davida Mandića, Željka Muse, Ivana Čupića, Zvonimira Srne, Luke Šebetića,  Ivana Martinovića i Marina Šipića.

Dobre vijesti su pak, da Luka Cindrić nije upitan, baš kao ni Igor Karačić. Od svog trenera je dobio tri dana poštede da prije okupljanja vidi svoju obitelj, a mnogi mediji su to protumačili kao da je u pitanju ozljeda. Karačić je spreman, prepun elana i volje da nakon propuštenog Europskog prvenstva ponovno pokaže svu raskoš talenta.

- Došli smo u Finsku obaviti posao. Čeka nas zanimljiv izazov, a mi smo spremni. Dobro smo iskoristili ovo vrijeme za uigravanje i vjerujem da ćemo biti pravi. Ne bih volio govoriti tko nam sve nedostaje. Istina je da ima puno novih, mladih igrača u reprezentaciji, ali ja im vjerujem. Treba im još malo vremena za prilagodbu, ali siguran sam da će sve biti dobro - rekao je uoči gostovanja kod Finske Igor Karačić.

Jedan od najjačih aduta hrvatske reprezentacije u ovom trenutku još je dodao.

- Ne smijemo se opustiti i moramo dati gas i maksimalno koncentrirano odigrati kod Finske. Sve je to lančano i ne želimo sebi stvoriti bespotrebne probleme. Ne znam otkuda informacije da sam ozlijeđen. Jedina je istina da nisam odigrao posljednju utakmicu, ali sam dobio poštedu od trenera da vidim svoje najmilije. Ništa drugo.

Izbornik Hrvoje Horvat na raspolaganju ima 18 igrača: tri vratara, četiri krila, tri kružna napadača i osam vanjskih igrača. Najtanja je Hrvatska za sada na desnoj strani koju će držati mladići Luka Lovre Klarica i Mateo Maraš. Ali, njihova forma je odlična i nitko ne sumnja da će vrhunski odraditi ono što se od njih bude tražilo.

Hrvatska želi pobijediti u oba susreta i poslati poruku ne samo svojim navijačima, nego i svijetu da je ponovno tu, moćna i spremna za velike stvari. Naravno da je oprez nužan, ali straha nema. Inače, Finska je samo jednom sudjelovala na velikom natjecanju. Bilo je to Svjetsko prvenstvo, daleke 1958. godine.

Hrvatski rukometaši u Finskoj traže prolaz prema Svjetskom prvenstvu: ‘Ne smijemo se opustiti i moramo dati gas i maksimalno koncentrirano odigrati‘

Nakon nešto više od dva i pol sata leta hrvatska rukometna reprezentacija stigla je u finski gradić Vantaa gdje će u srijedu (18 sati) odigrati prvi susret drugog kruga kvalifikacija za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2023. godine.

U ovom gradu Hrvatska je ispisala jedan dio bogate povijesti, jer je upravo tu odigrala prvi službeni susret. Bilo je to 11. travnja 1993. u kvalifikacijama za Europsko prvenstvo 1994. godine u Portugalu. I pobijedila je tada 31-28. Uzvrat u Zagrebu bio je samo lakši trening jer su hrvatski igrači tada slavili protiv Finske 30-15.

Još jednom je nakon toga Hrvatska gostovala u ovom finskom gradu. Bilo je to 9. lipnja 2009. godine. Ponovno su u pitanju bile kvalifikacije za Europsko prvenstvo, tada za Austriju 2010. godine. Nakon što je u Zagrebu slavila s 19 razlike (...
