Bivši talijanski nogometni reprezentativac Damiano Tommasi (48) izabran je za gradonačelnika Verone.

Tommasi, koji je tijekom karijere upisao 25 nastupa za "azzurre", najveći dio svoje igračke karijere proveo je Romi za koju je nastupao od 1996. do 2006. godine te je s "vučicom" osvojio i naslov prvaka Italije 2001., od 2011. do 2020. godine bio je predsjednik Udruženja talijanskih nogometaša (AIC).

Na izborima za gradonačelnika Verone kandidirao se kao kandidat ljevice te je pobijedio dosadašnjeg gradonačelnika Federica Sboarinu, čiju je  kandidaturu poduprla krajnje desna stranka "Talijanske braće".

Inače, Verona je grad s dugom tradicijom desničarskih gradonačelnika.

Bivši talijanski nogometni reprezentativac Damiano Tommasi (48) izabran je za gradonačelnika Verone.

Tommasi, koji je tijekom karijere upisao 25 nastupa za "azzurre", najveći dio svoje igračke karijere proveo je Romi za koju je nastupao od 1996. do 2006. godine te je s "vučicom" osvojio i naslov prvaka Italije 2001., od 2011. do 2020. godine bio je predsjednik Udruženja talijanskih nogometaša (AIC).

Na izborima za gradonačelnika Verone kandidirao se kao kandidat ljevice te je pobijedio dosadašnjeg gradonačelnika Federica Sboarinu, čiju je  kandidaturu poduprla krajnje desna stranka "Talijanske braće".

Inače, Verona je grad s dugom tradicijom desničarskih gradonačelnika.

Bivša zvijezda Rome i Italije ušao u ljevičarsku stranku i postao gradonačelnik uvijek desnog grada

Bivši talijanski nogometni reprezentativac Damiano Tommasi (48) izabran je za gradonačelnika Verone.

Tommasi, koji je tijekom karijere upisao 25 nastupa za "azzurre", najveći dio svoje igračke karijere proveo je Romi za koju je nastupao od 1996. do 2006. godine te je s "vučicom" osvojio i naslov prvaka Italije 2001., od 2011. do 2020. godine bio je predsjednik Udruženja talijanskih nogometaša (AIC).

Na izborima za gradonačelnika Verone kandidirao se kao kandidat ljevice te je pobijedio dosadašnjeg gradonačelnika Federica Sboarinu, čiju je  kandidaturu poduprla krajnje desna stranka "Talijanske braće".

Inače, Verona je grad s dugom tradicijom desničarskih gradonačelnika.
