Španjolska Marca ponudila je intrigantnu priču o jednom iznimno nadarenom nogometašu koji svoj talent nikad nije uspio do kraja ispoljiti. Bio je članom Barcelone u vrijeme dok su se kroz La Masiju probijali Xavi, Iniesta, Gabri, Puyol...

- Bio je još jedan Iniesta u Barceloni. Uvijek ću pamtiti njegovo ime: Mario Rosas! Da ste samo vidjeli što je taj radio s 15, 16, 17 godina. Svi su očekivali da će Camp Nou eksplodirati kada se on pojavi na terenu. No, pokazalo se da je adolescencija ključno razdoblje u životu nogometaša, osobnost nije u potpunosti izgrađena i vrlo je lako pogriješiti. Ako ste psihički stabilni i imate podršku obitelji, stvar se može popraviti. Ali, uvijek postoje i igrači koji imaju kaotične živote, s kompliciranim roditeljima. Kada nemate podršku nekoga komu vjerujete, teško je. A Mario Rosas bio je najbolji igrač koji je prošao kroz La Masiju – tvrdi aktualni trener Barcelone Xavi Hernandez, prenose Sportske novosti.

Međutim, za razliku od Xavija, koji je dosegao zvijezdanu karijeru, Rosas je u prvoj momčadi Barcelone sveukupno proveo samo 136 minuta u pet utakmica (u razdoblju od 1997 – 2000.).

- Rado se sjećam tog vremena. Svlačionica Barcelone bila je spketakularna. Sjećam se poniznosti Figa, naklonosti Luisa Enriquea ili Guardiole. Prema nama mlađima ponašali su se jako dobro, bili su vrlo prirodni. Nažalost, nisam imao strpljenja i otišao sam u Alaves. Zbog načina na koji sam igrao bila je to skroz pogrešna odluka. Barcelona je igrala nogomet s loptom, visokim posjedom. Teško se međutim nositi s nogometom izvan Barcinog "balona" – konstatira danas 42-godišnji Rosas.

Nakon Barcelone i Alavesa, uslijedila su iskustva igranja u sastavima Salamance, Cádiza, Girone, Murcije... Njegov je nogomet zaživio tek u Castellónu. No, Rosasa je pratio i "zao glas", kao osobu koja živi nedostojno karijere nogometnog profesionalca.

Zbog čestog partijanja i uživanja u alkoholu, napose viskiju, dobio je nadimak – Mario Four Roses. A njegov suigrač Pedro Alcañiz, iz razdoblja dok su zajedno igrali za Castellon, tvrdi:

- Čak i kada je bio pijan Rosas je bio bolji od svih ostalih zajedno!

Danas je Mario Rosas trener u Bahreinu i sanja svoju prvu titulu. Pratiteljima HNL-a ostao je u kratkom sjećanju kao trener Šibenika. Vodio je klub sa Šubićevca od lipnja 2021. do siječnja 2022.

Španjolska Marca ponudila je intrigantnu priču o jednom iznimno nadarenom nogometašu koji svoj talent nikad nije uspio do kraja ispoljiti. Bio je članom Barcelone u vrijeme dok su se kroz La Masiju probijali Xavi, Iniesta, Gabri, Puyol...

- Bio je još jedan Iniesta u Barceloni. Uvijek ću pamtiti njegovo ime: Mario Rosas! Da ste samo vidjeli što je taj radio s 15, 16, 17 godina. Svi su očekivali da će Camp Nou eksplodirati kada se on pojavi na terenu. No, pokazalo se da je adolescencija ključno razdoblje u životu nogometaša, osobnost nije u potpunosti izgrađena i vrlo je lako pogriješiti. Ako ste psihički stabilni i imate podršku obitelji, stvar se može popraviti. Ali, uvijek postoje i igrači koji imaju kaotične živote, s kompliciranim roditeljima. Kada nemate podršku nekoga komu vjerujete, teško je. A Mario Rosas bio je najbolji igrač koji je prošao kroz La Masiju – tvrdi aktualni trener Barcelone Xavi Hernandez, prenose Sportske novosti.

Međutim, za razliku od Xavija, koji je dosegao zvijezdanu karijeru, Rosas je u prvoj momčadi Barcelone sveukupno proveo samo 136 minuta u pet utakmica (u razdoblju od 1997 – 2000.).

- Rado se sjećam tog vremena. Svlačionica Barcelone bila je spketakularna. Sjećam se poniznosti Figa, naklonosti Luisa Enriquea ili Guardiole. Prema nama mlađima ponašali su se jako dobro, bili su vrlo prirodni. Nažalost, nisam imao strpljenja i otišao sam u Alaves. Zbog načina na koji sam igrao bila je to skroz pogrešna odluka. Nakon Barcelone i Alavesa, uslijedila su iskustva igranja u sastavima Salamance, Cádiza, Girone, Murcije... Njegov je nogomet zaživio tek u Castellónu. No, Rosasa je pratio i "zao glas", kao osobu koja živi nedostojno karijere nogometnog profesionalca.

Zbog čestog partijanja i uživanja u alkoholu, napose viskiju, dobio je nadimak – Mario Four Roses. A njegov suigrač Pedro Alcañiz, iz razdoblja dok su zajedno igrali za Castellon, tvrdi:

- Čak i kada je bio pijan Rosas je bio bolji od svih ostalih zajedno!

Danas je Mario Rosas trener u Bahreinu i sanja svoju prvu titulu. Pratiteljima HNL-a ostao je u kratkom sjećanju kao trener Šibenika. Vodio je klub sa Šubićevca od lipnja 2021. do siječnja 2022.

Španjolska Marca ponudila je intrigantnu priču o jednom iznimno nadarenom nogometašu koji svoj talent nikad nije uspio do kraja ispoljiti. Bio je članom Barcelone u vrijeme dok su se kroz La Masiju probijali Xavi, Iniesta, Gabri, Puyol...

- Bio je još jedan Iniesta u Barceloni. Uvijek ću pamtiti njegovo ime: Mario Rosas! Da ste samo vidjeli što je taj radio s 15, 16, 17 godina. Svi su očekivali da će Camp Nou eksplodirati kada se on pojavi na terenu. No, pokazalo se da je adolescencija ključno razdoblje u životu nogometaša, osobnost nije u potpunosti izgrađena i vrlo je lako pogriješiti.
