"Mi smo podilili 500 karata ljudima, a u dvorani nije bilo 400 naših navijača"... Rečenica prvog hrvatskog reketa govori i više nego dovoljno o sportskoj kulturi u Splitu. 

Borna Gojo bio je vidno razočaran na presici pred novinarima nakon što ga je nadigrao Emil Ruusuvuori (ATP- 57.) koji je bio bolji rezultatom 7:6(3), 6:4. Ovime je Hrvatska izgubila sve nade za plasaman među najboljih osam u Malagi.

No, Splićanin nije toliko žalio zbog igre, jer s prezentiranim na Davis Cupu opet može biti zadovoljan, kao i njegov mlađi kolega, Dino Prižmić. 

Međutim, igralo se doma, u njegovom Splitu, a publika na tribini... Finska! Jasno je bilo prvom reketu domaće reprezentacije da su karte bile preskupe za hrvatske standarde, ali zar u Splitu i okolici nije postojalo više od 400 ljudi koji si mogu to priuštiti?

- Ne želim se vaditi na publiku, jer naglašavam da smo za poraz prije svega krivi mi igrači. No, sigurno nas je iznenadilo da je u dvorni bilo više finskih navijača. Cijena karata je bila takva kakva je, na nju nismo mogli utjecati. Trudili smo se i kao savez podijeliti što više, ali... Možemo kriviti i novi sistem, ali ljudi igramo doma. U svijetu nekako nakon nogometa i košarke na trećem mjestu po popularnosti sporta dolazi tenis.

Zapravo Gojo nije želio provlačiti ovu temu o malom broju navijača na Gripama, ali jednostavno se moralo pitati.

- Vjerujem da većina ljudi to sebi ne može priuštiti, pa mi je glupo govorit. No, isto tako vjerujem da ih ima više koji mogu, nego što ih ima u dvorani, što sigurno rastužuje sve nas. I situacije sa sucima... Imam osjećaj da smo bolje tretirani kad igramo negdje vani. Šokantno mi je da sam morao zvati "challenge" pet puta u jednom gemu na domaćem terenu. Ne moraju suditi za nas, ali ne moraju ni protiv nas

U ovom gradu očigledno samo Hajduk može računati na bezuvjetnu podršku...

- Hajduk je i uvijek će biti prvi u ovom gradu, to nije sporno. Ali mi smo podilili 500 karata, a bilo je 300 naših, možda 400. Više je bilo na petici doli ljudi kad sam igrao na Challengeru... Ne mogu reći da mi nije bilo drago igrati doma, ali u Italiji je prošle godine u istom sistemu bilo deset tisuća ljudi. Ne znam koje su cijene karata bile.

Dotaknuo se Gojo naravno i samog meča i igre koju je pružio u Splitu.

- Osjećao sa da sam dobro igrao u prvom setu sve do tie-breaka. Imao sam i boljih prilika u odnosu na njega, ali on je odigrao puno bolje u nastavku. Možda sam bio malo umorniji nego u prvom meču, ali to je razumljivo. Vjerujem da sam pokazao da mogu dobiti odlične igrače. Ruusuvuori je odigrao na jako visokoj razini danas, ali znali smo da je za to sposoban, pogotovo u dvorani. Možda smo kao reprezentacija razočarani konačnim rezultatom te je iza nas jedan težak tjedan, ali vratit ćemo se sljedeće godine. Osobno sam igrao jako dobro i mogu biti zadovoljan.

Odličan meč, ali nije bio dovoljan za pobjedu?

- Da, igrao sam dobar tenis, ali ovaj put nije otišlo na moju stranu. Drugi set je bio podjednak sve do 4:4. Momak je odigrao bolje danas, mislim da je i on igrao jedan od svojih najboljih mečeva.

Kako sada naći motivaciju za Nizozemsku i meč koji neće ništa značiti?

- Vidjet ćemo što će biti u nedjelju, možda i neki mlađi dobe priliku. Vidjet ćemo što će biti u nedjelju. Strah me pomisliti što će biti kad ne igramo za nešto. Bit će Nizozemaca, našao je Gojo malo snage i za šalu.

"Mi smo podilili 500 karata ljudima, a u dvorani nije bilo 400 naših navijača"... Rečenica prvog hrvatskog reketa govori i više nego dovoljno o sportskoj kulturi u Splitu. 

Borna Gojo bio je vidno razočaran na presici pred novinarima nakon što ga je nadigrao Emil Ruusuvuori (ATP- 57.) koji je bio bolji rezultatom 7:6(3), 6:4. Ovime je Hrvatska izgubila sve nade za plasaman među najboljih osam u Malagi.

No, Splićanin nije toliko žalio zbog igre, jer s prezentiranim na Davis Cupu opet može biti zadovoljan, kao i njegov mlađi kolega, Dino Prižmić. 

Međutim, igralo se doma, u njegovom Splitu, a publika na tribini... Finska! Jasno je bilo prvom reketu domaće reprezentacije da su karte bile preskupe za hrvatske standarde, ali zar u Splitu i okolici nije postojalo više od 400 ljudi koji si mogu to priuštiti?

- Ne želim se vaditi na publiku, jer naglašavam da smo za poraz prije svega krivi mi igrači. No, sigurno nas je iznenadilo da je u dvorni bilo više finskih navijača. Cijena karata je bila takva kakva je, na nju nismo mogli utjecati. Trudili smo se i kao savez podijeliti što više, ali... Možemo kriviti i novi sistem, ali ljudi igramo doma. U svijetu nekako nakon nogometa i košarke na trećem mjestu po popularnosti sporta dolazi tenis.

Zapravo Gojo nije želio provlačiti ovu temu o malom broju navijača na Gripama, ali jednostavno se moralo pitati.

- Vjerujem da većina ljudi to sebi ne može priuštiti, pa mi je glupo govorit. No, isto tako vjerujem da ih ima više koji mogu, nego što ih ima u dvorani, što sigurno rastužuje sve nas. I situacije sa sucima... Imam osjećaj da smo bolje tretirani kad igramo negdje vani. Šokantno mi je da sam morao zvati "challenge" pet puta u jednom gemu na domaćem terenu. Ne moraju suditi za nas, ali ne moraju ni protiv nas

U ovom gradu očigledno samo Hajduk može računati na bezuvjetnu podršku...

- Hajduk je i uvijek će biti prvi u ovom gradu, to nije sporno. Ali mi smo podilili 500 karata, a bilo je 300 naših, možda 400. Više je bilo na petici doli ljudi kad sam igrao na Challengeru... Ne mogu reći da mi nije bilo drago igrati doma, ali u Italiji je prošle godine u istom sistemu bilo deset tisuća ljudi. Ne znam koje su cijene karata bile.

Dotaknuo se Gojo naravno i samog meča i igre koju je pružio u Splitu.

- Osjećao sa da sam dobro igrao u prvom setu sve do tie-breaka. Imao sam i boljih prilika u odnosu na njega, ali on je odigrao puno bolje u nastavku. Možda sam bio malo umorniji nego u prvom meču, ali to je razumljivo. Vjerujem da sam pokazao da mogu dobiti odlične igrače. Ruusuvuori je odigrao na jako visokoj razini danas, ali znali smo da je za to sposoban, pogotovo u dvorani. Možda smo kao reprezentacija razočarani konačnim rezultatom te je iza nas jedan težak tjedan, ali vratit ćemo se sljedeće godine. Osobno sam igrao jako dobro i mogu biti zadovoljan.

Odličan meč, ali nije bio dovoljan za pobjedu?

- Da, igrao sam dobar tenis, ali ovaj put nije otišlo na moju stranu. Drugi set je bio podjednak sve do 4:4. Momak je odigrao bolje danas, mislim da je i on igrao jedan od svojih najboljih mečeva.

Kako sada naći motivaciju za Nizozemsku i meč koji neće ništa značiti?

- Vidjet ćemo što će biti u nedjelju, možda i neki mlađi dobe priliku. Vidjet ćemo što će biti u nedjelju. Strah me pomisliti što će biti kad ne igramo za nešto. Bit će Nizozemaca, našao je Gojo malo snage i za šalu.

"Mi smo podilili 500 karata ljudima, a u dvorani nije bilo 400 naših navijača"... Rečenica prvog hrvatskog reketa govori i više nego dovoljno o sportskoj kulturi u Splitu. 

Borna Gojo bio je vidno razočaran na presici pred novinarima nakon što ga je nadigrao Emil Ruusuvuori (ATP- 57.) koji je bio bolji rezultatom 7:6(3), 6:4. Ovime je Hrvatska izgubila sve nade za plasaman među najboljih osam u Malagi.

No, Splićanin nije toliko žalio zbog igre, jer s prezentiranim na Davis Cupu opet može biti zadovoljan, kao i njegov mlađi kolega, Dino Prižmić. 

Međutim, igralo se doma, u njegovom Splitu, a publika na tribini... Finska! Jasno je bilo prvom reketu domaće reprezentacije da su karte bile preskupe za hrvatske standarde, ali zar u Splitu i okolici nije postojalo više od 400 ljudi koji si mogu to priuštiti?

- Ne želim se vaditi na publiku, jer naglašavam da smo za poraz prije svega krivi mi igrači. No, sigurno nas je iznenadilo da je u dvorni bilo više finskih navijača.
