Do završetka turnira skupine D u Splitu hrvatskim tenisačima ostao je još jedan susret, protiv Nizozemske u nedjelju (početak u 15 sati). Rezultatski je nevažan, u smislu da je Nizozemska bez obzira na ishod pobjednik skupine, a Hrvatska ne može biti među dva najbolja sastava, no svejedno bi mogao biti dobro iskorišten.

„Nakon prva dva susreta ostali smo bez šansi da se kvalificiramo za završni turnir. Ostao je još susret s Nizozemskom. Drago mi je da je mladi Dino Prižmić ušao u reprezentaciju i odigrao dva solidna meča, a vidjet ćemo u nedjelju tko će biti u postavi. Vjerojatno će ući Duje Ajduković, da odigra prvi meč za reprezentaciju, tako da s mladom postavom odigramo protiv Nizozemske.“

Hrvatska reprezentacija nas je naviknula na vrhunske rezultate u Davis Cupu i konstantan boravak u elitnoj Svjetskoj skupini. U njoj će ostati i nakon turnira u Splitu, a sljedeći susret imat će u tzv. Qualifier fazi početkom veljače iduće godine (u tom stupnju natjecanja ove je sezone svladala Austriju u Rijeci). Međutim, s povratkom Marina Čilića i Borne Ćorića, te mladim igračima iz Splita očekuje se da će se ponovno boriti za odlazak na završnicu Davis Cupa.

„Marin nije igrao cijelu godinu zbog ozljede, a Borna je otkazao uoči dolaska u Split, pa je Borna Gojo došao na poziciju prvog igrača. Dino je dobio priliku da se iskaže i dobije neophodno iskustvo za predstojeće susrete u Davis Cupu. Vidjet ćemo hoće li se format natjecanja mijenjati ili će ostati ovakav i za sljedeću godinu, ali mi smo i dalje u Svjetskoj skupini“, rekao je Martić.

U „Qualifier“ fazi Davis Cupa početkom veljače 2024. sudjelovat će 24 reprezentacije – 12 ekipa koje će proći iz Prve skupine, te 12 (od ukupno 16) reprezentacija koje ovog tjedna igraju na ukupno četiri turnira prvog kruga završnice. Četiri od navedenih 16 reprezentacija će biti pošteđene nastupa u „Qualifieru“ – ovogodišnji finalisti, te dva sastava koji će dobiti pozivnice.

Do završetka turnira skupine D u Splitu hrvatskim tenisačima ostao je još jedan susret, protiv Nizozemske u nedjelju (početak u 15 sati). Rezultatski je nevažan, u smislu da je Nizozemska bez obzira na ishod pobjednik skupine, a Hrvatska ne može biti među dva najbolja sastava, no svejedno bi mogao biti dobro iskorišten.

„Nakon prva dva susreta ostali smo bez šansi da se kvalificiramo za završni turnir. Ostao je još susret s Nizozemskom. Drago mi je da je mladi Dino Prižmić ušao u reprezentaciju i odigrao dva solidna meča, a vidjet ćemo u nedjelju tko će biti u postavi. Vjerojatno će ući Duje Ajduković, da odigra prvi meč za reprezentaciju, tako da s mladom postavom odigramo protiv Nizozemske.“

Hrvatska reprezentacija nas je naviknula na vrhunske rezultate u Davis Cupu i konstantan boravak u elitnoj Svjetskoj skupini. U njoj će ostati i nakon turnira u Splitu, a sljedeći susret imat će u tzv. Qualifier fazi početkom veljače iduće godine (u tom stupnju natjecanja ove je sezone svladala Austriju u Rijeci). Međutim, s povratkom Marina Čilića i Borne Ćorića, te mladim igračima iz Splita očekuje se da će se ponovno boriti za odlazak na završnicu Davis Cupa.

„Marin nije igrao cijelu godinu zbog ozljede, a Borna je otkazao uoči dolaska u Split, pa je Borna Gojo došao na poziciju prvog igrača. Dino je dobio priliku da se iskaže i dobije neophodno iskustvo za predstojeće susrete u Davis Cupu. Vidjet ćemo hoće li se format natjecanja mijenjati ili će ostati ovakav i za sljedeću godinu, ali mi smo i dalje u Svjetskoj skupini“, rekao je Martić.

U „Qualifier“ fazi Davis Cupa početkom veljače 2024. sudjelovat će 24 reprezentacije – 12 ekipa koje će proći iz Prve skupine, te 12 (od ukupno 16) reprezentacija koje ovog tjedna igraju na ukupno četiri turnira prvog kruga završnice. Četiri od navedenih 16 reprezentacija će biti pošteđene nastupa u „Qualifieru“ – ovogodišnji finalisti, te dva sastava koji će dobiti pozivnice.

Izbornik Martić: Mi smo i dalje u Svjetskoj skupini, vidjet ćemo u nedjelju tko će biti u postavi

Do završetka turnira skupine D u Splitu hrvatskim tenisačima ostao je još jedan susret, protiv Nizozemske u nedjelju (početak u 15 sati). Rezultatski je nevažan, u smislu da je Nizozemska bez obzira na ishod pobjednik skupine, a Hrvatska ne može biti među dva najbolja sastava, no svejedno bi mogao biti dobro iskorišten.

„Nakon prva dva susreta ostali smo bez šansi da se kvalificiramo za završni turnir. Ostao je još susret s Nizozemskom. Drago mi je da je mladi Dino Prižmić ušao u reprezentaciju i odigrao dva solidna meča, a vidjet ćemo u nedjelju tko će biti u postavi. Vjerojatno će ući Duje Ajduković, da odigra prvi meč za reprezentaciju, tako da s mladom postavom odigramo protiv Nizozemske.“

Hrvatska reprezentacija nas je naviknula na vrhunske rezultate u Davis Cupu i konstantan boravak u elitnoj Svjetskoj skupini. U njoj će ostati i nakon turnira u Splitu, a sljedeći susret imat će u tzv. Qualifier fazi početkom veljače iduće godine (u tom stupnju natjecanja ove je sezone svladala Austriju u Rijeci). Međutim, s povratkom Marina Čilića i Borne Ćorića, te mladim igračima iz Splita očekuje se da će se ponovno boriti za odlazak na završnicu Davis Cupa.

„Marin nije igrao cijelu godinu zbog ozljede, a Borna je otkazao uoči dolaska u Split, pa je Borna Gojo došao na poziciju prvog igrača. Dino je dobio priliku da se iskaže i dobije neophodno iskustvo za predstojeće susrete u Davis Cupu. Vidjet ćemo hoće li se format natjecanja mijenjati ili će ostati ovakav i za sljedeću godinu, ali mi smo i dalje u Svjetskoj skupini“, rekao je Martić.

U „Qualifier“ fazi Davis Cupa početkom veljače 2024. sudjelovat će 24 reprezentacije – 12 ekipa koje će proći iz Prve skupine, te 12 (od ukupno 16) reprezentacija koje ovog tjedna igraju na ukupno četiri turnira prvog kruga završnice. Četiri od navedenih 16 reprezentacija će biti pošteđene nastupa u „Qualifieru“ – ovogodišnji finalisti, te dva sastava koji će dobiti pozivnice.
