Sveučilište u Milanu objavilo je studiju koja pokazuje da se prva osoba oboljela od Covida-19 pojavila čak tri mjeseca ranije od do sada službenog ‘nultog pacijenta’ čime je dokazano da je koronavirus u Italiju došao puno prije, već u studenom 2019.

Već prije se sumnjalo da je koronavirus u Lombardiju stigao prije veljače te da to objašnjava zašto se onda tako stihijski proširio. Toj tvrdnji u prilog su išla već neka druga istraživanja, pa je tako virus pronađen u uzorcima milanskih otpadnih voda iz prosinca 2019.

Novo istraživanje koje Covid-19 stavlja najdalje u prošlost provedeno je zahvaljujući bazi briseva pacijenata kod kojih se sumnjalo na ospice ili šarlah, a bili su na njih negativni. Od svih uzetih uzorka od rujna do prosinca 2019. jedan se pokazao pozitivnim na SARS-CoV-2, a riječ je o četverogodišnjaku koji je u bolnicu došao zbog problema s disanjem i povraćanjem. Prve simptome osjetio je već 21. studenoga, a bris mu je uzet 14 dana poslije toga kada su mu se na koži pojavile mrljice i izazvale kod liječnika sumnju na ospice.

Infektolog dr. Ivo Ivić kaže kako je bilo za očekivati da se prvi nulti pacijent u Italiji nije mogao pojaviti tako simultano s razbuktavanjem pandemije. Smatra posve logičnim da je sve krenulo puno prije nego što se mislilo.

- Širenje infekcije asimptomatski ili praćeno blagim simptomima uvijek prethodi vrhuncu zaraze. Možemo to objasniti na primjeru ledenjaka gdje je baza iz koje kreće infekcija kao ledeni brijeg ispod vode, a u trenutku kada počnemo primjećivati vrh na površini to znači da je baza već poprilično velika. 

Dr. Ivić kaže da se slična situacija dogodila i u Hrvatskoj u ovom drugom valu. Tijekom šestog mjeseca nije nestao virus, ali ga je bilo toliko malo da nije bio prepoznat na testiranjima. Širio se među mladima, s blagim ili nikakvim simptomima i stvorio bazu i onda se dogodio boom. Za to ne možemo kriviti zimu, smatra, jer je došla poprilično kasno, već upravo to skrovito širenje virusa tijekom ljeta.

S obzirom na blizinu Hrvatske i Italije pitamo se je li moguće da je situacija bila ista kod nas već krajem 2019. ili početkom 2020 godine, tj. da je virus došao puno prije nego što smo mislili. Dr. Ivić kaže da se ne može o ničemu sa sigurnošću govoriti dok se ne napravi opsežno istraživanje, ali ne isključuje u potpunosti tu mogućnost.

- Sve je moguće, ali treba podsjetiti da Sjeverna Italija ima ozbiljan promet sa svijetom i Kinom. Pogledamo li samo njihovu zrakoplovnu aktivnost, vidimo da smo mi u odnosu na to teška periferija. Je li se zaraza kod nas prije proširila ovisi o tome koliko naših ljudi je išlo tamo.

Govorilo se o valu ‘viroze’ koji je prethodio početku pandemije u Hrvatskoj, ali infektolog kaže kako ne misli da je to bio Covid-19.

- Ako niste radili opsežnu dijagnostiku ne možete znati, ali iz kliničke slike pacijenata iz toga perioda reklo bi se da je riječ o klasičnoj gripi. U taj opis ubraja se visoka temperature već prvog dana, a i pogođena je bila uglavnom mlada populacija.

Sveučilište u Milanu objavilo je studiju koja pokazuje da se prva osoba oboljela od Covida-19 pojavila čak tri mjeseca ranije od do sada službenog ‘nultog pacijenta’ čime je dokazano da je koronavirus u Italiju došao puno prije, već u studenom 2019.

Već prije se sumnjalo da je koronavirus u Lombardiju stigao prije veljače te da to objašnjava zašto se onda tako stihijski proširio. Toj tvrdnji u prilog su išla već neka druga istraživanja, pa je tako virus pronađen u uzorcima milanskih otpadnih voda iz prosinca 2019.

Novo istraživanje koje Covid-19 stavlja najdalje u prošlost provedeno je zahvaljujući bazi briseva pacijenata kod kojih se sumnjalo na ospice ili šarlah, a bili su na njih negativni. Od svih uzetih uzorka od rujna do prosinca 2019. jedan se pokazao pozitivnim na SARS-CoV-2, a riječ je o četverogodišnjaku koji je u bolnicu došao zbog problema s disanjem i povraćanjem. Prve simptome osjetio je već 21. studenoga, a bris mu je uzet 14 dana poslije toga kada su mu se na koži pojavile mrljice i izazvale kod liječnika sumnju na ospice.

Infektolog dr. Ivo Ivić kaže kako je bilo za očekivati da se prvi nulti pacijent u Italiji nije mogao pojaviti tako simultano s razbuktavanjem pandemije. Smatra posve logičnim da je sve krenulo puno prije nego što se mislilo.

- Širenje infekcije asimptomatski ili praćeno blagim simptomima uvijek prethodi vrhuncu zaraze. Možemo to objasniti na primjeru ledenjaka gdje je baza iz koje kreće infekcija kao ledeni brijeg ispod vode, a u trenutku kada počnemo primjećivati vrh na površini to znači da je baza već poprilično velika. 

Dr. Ivić kaže da se slična situacija dogodila i u Hrvatskoj u ovom drugom valu. Tijekom šestog mjeseca nije nestao virus, ali ga je bilo toliko malo da nije bio prepoznat na testiranjima. Širio se među mladima, s blagim ili nikakvim simptomima i stvorio bazu i onda se dogodio boom. Za to ne možemo kriviti zimu, smatra, jer je došla poprilično kasno, već upravo to skrovito širenje virusa tijekom ljeta.

S obzirom na blizinu Hrvatske i Italije pitamo se je li moguće da je situacija bila ista kod nas već krajem 2019. ili početkom 2020 godine, tj. da je virus došao puno prije nego što smo mislili. Dr. Ivić kaže da se ne može o ničemu sa sigurnošću govoriti dok se ne napravi opsežno istraživanje, ali ne isključuje u potpunosti tu mogućnost.

- Sve je moguće, ali treba podsjetiti da Sjeverna Italija ima ozbiljan promet sa svijetom i Kinom. Pogledamo li samo njihovu zrakoplovnu aktivnost, vidimo da smo mi u odnosu na to teška periferija. Je li se zaraza kod nas prije proširila ovisi o tome koliko naših ljudi je išlo tamo.

Govorilo se o valu ‘viroze’ koji je prethodio početku pandemije u Hrvatskoj, ali infektolog kaže kako ne misli da je to bio Covid-19.

- Ako niste radili opsežnu dijagnostiku ne možete znati, ali iz kliničke slike pacijenata iz toga perioda reklo bi se da je riječ o klasičnoj gripi. U taj opis ubraja se visoka temperature već prvog dana, a i pogođena je bila uglavnom mlada populacija.

Sveučilište u Milanu objavilo je studiju koja pokazuje da se prva osoba oboljela od Covida-19 pojavila čak tri mjeseca ranije od do sada službenog ‘nultog pacijenta’ čime je dokazano da je koronavirus u Italiju došao puno prije, već u studenom 2019.

Već prije se sumnjalo da je koronavirus u Lombardiju stigao prije veljače te da to objašnjava zašto se onda tako stihijski proširio. Toj tvrdnji u prilog su išla već neka druga istraživanja, pa je tako virus pronađen u uzorcima milanskih otpadnih voda iz prosinca 2019.

Novo istraživanje koje Covid-19 stavlja najdalje u prošlost provedeno je zahvaljujući bazi briseva pacijenata kod kojih se sumnjalo na ospice ili šarlah, a bili su na njih negativni. Od svih uzetih uzorka od rujna do prosinca 2019. jedan se pokazao pozitivnim...
