Ministar obrane Mario Banožić još jedan dan je proveo u Bruxellesu, odakle je dao intervju za RTL. Tema? Optužbe predsjednika Zorana Milanovića na račun ministra, pa i određena količina uvreda.
"Krajnje je neukusno i sam moment u kojem su izašli iz ureda predsjednika s priopćenjem o brigadiru Burčulu i cijeloj situaciji s zapovjednikom Počasne zaštitne bojne najbolje govori o tome koliko su časnu namjeru imali. Čekali su trenutak da odem iz RH u Bruxelles na sastanak EU ministara i NATO-a i pokušavali su nametnuti tezu da sam učinio nešto što nije u skladu sa zakonom", kazao je ministar i ustvrdio:
"Kroz priopćenja smo dokazali da je sve u skladu sa zakonom. A večeras je možda najbolji trenutak da kažemo zašto je uopće došlo do toga."
"Način komunikacije predsjednika je totalno neprimjeren samo zato što mu je napokon rečeno 'ne' u sustavu koji on uporno pokušava svojatati, uporno prikazivati kao neku svoju vojsku i pritom nepoštujući nijedan zakon koji je on donio. Isto tako, sama obrana brigadira Burčula da sam ja napravio nešto iz svoje osvete, najbolje govori podatak da su upravo na to mjesto tražili samo dva i pol mjeseca razmaka, čemu sam ja bio protiv. A pravi razlog je to što on za to mjesto već ima spremnog čovjeka", kazao je ministar:
"Taj čovjek po činu uopće nije dovoljan da bi obnašao dužnost zapovjednika, nego će još na mene vršiti pritisak da ga ja trebam unaprijediti, da mu isto tako trebam (dati) izvanredno promaknuće."
Znači da je u ta dva mjeseca koliko se tražilo produljenje mandata, trebao odraditi promaknuće?
"Korak je da pripremimo čovjeka koji će mu biti, iako taj čovjek danas nema uvjete, iako mi za to mjesto u ovom trenutku imamo preko 400 vojnika brigadira koji bi mogli ispunjavati uvjete za to mjesto", odgovorio je.
Je li ikada rekao da ne želi vidjeti brigadira Burčula?
"Ja ne želim vidjeti ovakav način funkcioniranja. To mu je već jasno rečeno 15. kada je već poslao odluku, pazite, faksom da on ostavlja brigadira za zapovjednika... iako za to nije imao nikakvu zakonsku osnovu. Čak, general Hranj je dao rješenje da je brigadir neraspoređen, a nakon toga je vjerojatno nakon pritiska ureda predsjednika morao donijeti novo rješenje koje definitivno nije zakonito. Na taj način ja nisam imao drugo rješenje nego brigadira umiroviti sa 19., odnosno dan poslije poništenog rješenja."
Rekao je da nema primjedbi na rad brigadira, ali da nije rješenje da se ovako postupa. Rekao je i da je predsjedniku rekao što je trebalo.
"Nema jasne komunikacije, nego meni uporno šalje nekakve poruke po svojim savjetnicima s kojima ja nemam što pričati. Ured predsjednika je sazivao briefinge. Kažem vam da od svibnja nismo imali briefinge", rekao je ministar obrane i to.
"On promatra Počasno-zaštitnu bojnu kao svoju vojsku", kazao je dalje Banožić uz opasku da je to HV.
"Ja shvaćam da predsjednik želi imati osobe od povjerenja u svom okruženju. To nije nikakav problem. Ajmo sjesti i razgovarati. Ali, način da ćete mi napraviti odluku i zadnji dan mi je dostaviti faksom, da ću ja to prihvatiti, ne, nema šanse, pogotovo ne ovo što sam rekao da ćete mi tražiti izvanredna promaknuća pored ljudi koji su tu redovno u sustavu vojske", kazao je.

Ministar obrane Mario Banožić još jedan dan je proveo u Bruxellesu, odakle je dao intervju za RTL. Tema? Optužbe predsjednika Zorana Milanovića na račun ministra, pa i određena količina uvreda.
"Krajnje je neukusno i sam moment u kojem su izašli iz ureda predsjednika s priopćenjem o brigadiru Burčulu i cijeloj situaciji s zapovjednikom Počasne zaštitne bojne najbolje govori o tome koliko su časnu namjeru imali. Čekali su trenutak da odem iz RH u Bruxelles na sastanak EU ministara i NATO-a i pokušavali su nametnuti tezu da sam učinio nešto što nije u skladu sa zakonom", kazao je ministar i ustvrdio:
"Kroz priopćenja smo dokazali da je sve u skladu sa zakonom. A večeras je možda najbolji trenutak da kažemo zašto je uopće došlo do toga."
"Način komunikacije predsjednika je totalno neprimjeren samo zato što mu je napokon rečeno 'ne' u sustavu koji on uporno pokušava svojatati, uporno prikazivati kao neku svoju vojsku i pritom nepoštujući nijedan zakon koji je on donio. Isto tako, sama obrana brigadira Burčula da sam ja napravio nešto iz svoje osvete, najbolje govori podatak da su upravo na to mjesto tražili samo dva i pol mjeseca razmaka, čemu sam ja bio protiv. A pravi razlog je to što on za to mjesto već ima spremnog čovjeka", kazao je ministar:
"Taj čovjek po činu uopće nije dovoljan da bi obnašao dužnost zapovjednika, nego će još na mene vršiti pritisak da ga ja trebam unaprijediti, da mu isto tako trebam (dati) izvanredno promaknuće."
Znači da je u ta dva mjeseca koliko se tražilo produljenje mandata, trebao odraditi promaknuće?
"Korak je da pripremimo čovjeka koji će mu biti, iako taj čovjek danas nema uvjete, iako mi za to mjesto u ovom trenutku imamo preko 400 vojnika brigadira koji bi mogli ispunjavati uvjete za to mjesto", odgovorio je.
Je li ikada rekao da ne želi vidjeti brigadira Burčula?
"Ja ne želim vidjeti ovakav način funkcioniranja. To mu je već jasno rečeno 15. kada je već poslao odluku, pazite, faksom da on ostavlja brigadira za zapovjednika... iako za to nije imao nikakvu zakonsku osnovu. Čak, general Hranj je dao rješenje da je brigadir neraspoređen, a nakon toga je vjerojatno nakon pritiska ureda predsjednika morao donijeti novo rješenje koje definitivno nije zakonito. Na taj način ja nisam imao drugo rješenje nego brigadira umiroviti sa 19., odnosno dan poslije poništenog rješenja."
Rekao je da nema primjedbi na rad brigadira, ali da nije rješenje da se ovako postupa. Rekao je i da je predsjedniku rekao što je trebalo.
"Nema jasne komunikacije, nego meni uporno šalje nekakve poruke po svojim savjetnicima s kojima ja nemam što pričati. Ured predsjednika je sazivao briefinge. Kažem vam da od svibnja nismo imali briefinge", rekao je ministar obrane i to.
"On promatra Počasno-zaštitnu bojnu kao svoju vojsku", kazao je dalje Banožić uz opasku da je to HV.
"Ja shvaćam da predsjednik želi imati osobe od povjerenja u svom okruženju. To nije nikakav problem. Ajmo sjesti i razgovarati. Ali, način da ćete mi napraviti odluku i zadnji dan mi je dostaviti faksom, da ću ja to prihvatiti, ne, nema šanse, pogotovo ne ovo što sam rekao da ćete mi tražiti izvanredna promaknuća pored ljudi koji su tu redovno u sustavu vojske", kazao je.
