Od potpuno zdravog djeteta do borbe za život u samo par dana – Provjereno donosi potresne ispovijesti dvije majke čija su djeca razvila MIS-C, pretjeranu imunološku reakciju na asimptomatski preboljenu koronu.
Trebao je to biti sasvim običan dan. Temperatura koju je Ema navečer dobila, do jutra će uz tabletu pasti, računala je njezina mama Tena. Mimoišla ju je čak i korona koju su mjesec i pol ranije dobili svi u obitelji. No, temperatura nije odlazila ni nakon nekoliko lijekova za snižavanje. Doktorica ih za svaki slučaj šalje na testiranje, no nalaz na koronu dolazi negativan. Emino stanje u međuvremenu postajalo je sve gore. Bolovi u trbuhu, proljev, malaksalost.
- Temperatura je samo krenula rasti, vrat joj se ukočio, nije se mogla okretati po krevetu, nije mogla spavati, ona je jecala od bolova“, prisjeća se njezina majka. Na zaraznoj su posumnjali na streptokok, dali antibiotike i poslali ih kući, ali Emi je iz sata u sat postajalo sve gore i gore.
- Vidjela sam da se gasi. Svakom minutom se njoj pogoršava, a ti joj ne možeš pomoći. U jednom me trenutku pitala hoće li ona to preživjeti. Ja sam se počela tresti, nisam znala što da radim, priča mama Tena.
Kada se nakon svih simptoma počeo pojavljivati i osip, a uši postale ljubičaste, Emu su ponovno odveli u bolnicu. „Osip je izbijao oko očiju, usta, nije mogla hodati jer je bila slaba i doktor je odmah rekao da ona mora ostati na liječenju“, priča Tena.
Trenuci u kojima je čekala da joj objasne što se događa bili su, kaže, najdulji i najteži u njezinom životu, a onda je liječnica počela nabrajati: nizak tlak, dopamin za dizanje tlaka, sepsa, uvođenje centralnog katetera… Bojala se u kakvom će stanju zateći Emu, a prizor kada je konačno ušla u sobu gdje joj dijete, prikopčano na aparate, spava sa širom otvorenim očima, urezao joj se, kaže, u pamćenje.
160 kilometara dalje, na riječkoj Kantridi, Jasminka je gledala isti prizor kao i Tena. Liječnici oko kreveta u kojem leži ono najvrijednije što ima, njezino dijete. Možda je meningitis, možda Kawasaki, možda je adenovirus, možda entereovirus… Sreća u nesreći bila je ta da je Jasminkina prijateljica u Londonu dio covid tima koji se susreo s puno ovakve djece i dijagnoza je, nakon majčinog inzistiranja da se dječaku napravi antigenski test na koronu, konačno postavljena – MIS-C.

Najmlađa žrtva koronavirusa u Hrvatskoj
Dječak u dobi od 10 godina preminuo je tijekom noći s 23. na 24. siječanj u Klinici za infektivne bolesti Dr. Fran Mihaljević u Zagrebu od posljedica covid infekcije.
Kod dječaka je došlo do multisistemskog upalnog sindroma (MIS-C), vrlo rijetkog i iznimno opasnog sindroma koji pogađa djecu od dvije do 15 godina, a koji je detektiran u travnju prošle godine u SAD-u i Velikoj Britaniji kod djece oboljele od covida-19.
Sindrom ima značajke slične sindromu toksičnog šoka i Kawasakijeve bolesti i izaziva upalu krvnih žila po cijelom tijelu.
- Upala može ograničiti protok krvi i oštetiti srce, bubrege i druge organe. Sindrom može biti posljedica imunosnog odgovora tijela na prisustvo koronavirusa SARS-CoV-2 - objasnio je u stručnom radu Kwang Sik Kim, dječji infektolog u Dječjem centru Johns Hopkins. Roditelji bi, prema njegovu savjetu, hitno trebali zatražiti liječničku pomoć ako oboljelo dijete ima temperaturu višu od 38 stupnjeva Celzijusa 24 sata ili duže te, uz to, ima barem još jedan od sljedećih simptoma:
- neuobičajena slabost
- crveni osip
- bol u trbuhu
- povraćanje i proljev
- crvene, ispucale usne
- crvene oči
- natečene ruke ili noge

Od potpuno zdravog djeteta do borbe za život u samo par dana – Provjereno donosi potresne ispovijesti dvije majke čija su djeca razvila MIS-C, pretjeranu imunološku reakciju na asimptomatski preboljenu koronu.
Trebao je to biti sasvim običan dan. Temperatura koju je Ema navečer dobila, do jutra će uz tabletu pasti, računala je njezina mama Tena. Mimoišla ju je čak i korona koju su mjesec i pol ranije dobili svi u obitelji. No, temperatura nije odlazila ni nakon nekoliko lijekova za snižavanje. Doktorica ih za svaki slučaj šalje na testiranje, no nalaz na koronu dolazi negativan. Emino stanje u međuvremenu postajalo je sve gore. Bolovi u trbuhu, proljev, malaksalost.
- Temperatura je samo krenula rasti, vrat joj se ukočio, nije se mogla okretati po krevetu, nije mogla spavati, ona je jecala od bolova“, prisjeća se njezina majka. Na zaraznoj su posumnjali na streptokok, dali antibiotike i poslali ih kući, ali Emi je iz sata u sat postajalo sve gore i gore.
- Vidjela sam da se gasi. Svakom minutom se njoj pogoršava, a ti joj ne možeš pomoći. U jednom me trenutku pitala hoće li ona to preživjeti. Ja sam se počela tresti, nisam znala što da radim, priča mama Tena.
Kada se nakon svih simptoma počeo pojavljivati i osip, a uši postale ljubičaste, Emu su ponovno odveli u bolnicu. „Osip je izbijao oko očiju, usta, nije mogla hodati jer je bila slaba i doktor je odmah rekao da ona mora ostati na liječenju“, priča Tena.
Trenuci u kojima je čekala da joj objasne što se događa bili su, kaže, najdulji i najteži u njezinom životu, a onda je liječnica počela nabrajati: nizak tlak, dopamin za dizanje tlaka, sepsa, uvođenje centralnog katetera… Bojala se u kakvom će stanju zateći Emu, a prizor kada je konačno ušla u sobu gdje joj dijete, prikopčano na aparate, spava sa širom otvorenim očima, urezao joj se, kaže, u pamćenje.
160 kilometara dalje, na riječkoj Kantridi, Jasminka je gledala isti prizor kao i Tena. Liječnici oko kreveta u kojem leži ono najvrijednije što ima, njezino dijete. Možda je meningitis, možda Kawasaki, možda je adenovirus, možda entereovirus… Sreća u nesreći bila je ta da je Jasminkina prijateljica u Londonu dio covid tima koji se susreo s puno ovakve djece i dijagnoza je, nakon majčinog inzistiranja da se dječaku napravi antigenski test na koronu, konačno postavljena – MIS-C.

Najmlađa žrtva koronavirusa u Hrvatskoj
Dječak u dobi od 10 godina preminuo je tijekom noći s 23. na 24. siječanj u Klinici za infektivne bolesti Dr. Fran Mihaljević u Zagrebu od posljedica covid infekcije.
Kod dječaka je došlo do multisistemskog upalnog sindroma (MIS-C), vrlo rijetkog i iznimno opasnog sindroma koji pogađa djecu od dvije do 15 godina, a koji je detektiran u travnju prošle godine u SAD-u i Velikoj Britaniji kod djece oboljele od covida-19.
Sindrom ima značajke slične sindromu toksičnog šoka i Kawasakijeve bolesti i izaziva upalu krvnih žila po cijelom tijelu.
- Upala može ograničiti protok krvi i oštetiti srce, bubrege i druge organe. Sindrom može biti posljedica imunosnog odgovora tijela na prisustvo koronavirusa SARS-CoV-2 - objasnio je u stručnom radu Kwang Sik Kim, dječji infektolog u Dječjem centru Johns Hopkins. Najčešće se javlja u roku od četiri tjedna od izloženosti virusu.

Roditelji bi, prema njegovu savjetu, hitno trebali zatražiti liječničku pomoć ako oboljelo dijete ima temperaturu višu od 38 stupnjeva Celzijusa 24 sata ili duže te, uz to, ima barem još jedan od sljedećih simptoma:
- neuobičajena slabost
- crveni osip
- bol u trbuhu
- povraćanje i proljev
- crvene, ispucale usne
- crvene oči
- natečene ruke ili noge
