Vukovarski gradonačelnik Ivan Penava pozdravio je u srijedu akciju policije koja od jutros provodi završne radnje kriminalističkog istraživanja u svezi s ratnim zločinom na Ovčari počinjenim u studenome 1991., iako mu je, kako je rekao, pomalo "sumnjiv" tajming akcije.

"Tajming je sumnjiv, korupcijske afere, naučili smo da kad god nešto gori, bacimo kost Vukovarcima. Na Vukovar je cijela država osjetljiva, najlakše je zaboraviti neke stvari. 29 godina nažalost gledamo tu praksu i tu vrstu politike", rekao je Penava u izjavi za RTL.

Poručio je kako smo dužni njegovati sjećanje i tražiti pravdu za svakoga.

"Međutim, treba reći i zahvaliti i onim profesionalcima koji su doveli i do današnjeg čina, ali ne treba biti naivan. Današnji čin uhićenja je samo jedna stavka u nizu koje trebaju dovesti do pravde i pravomoćnih presuda. Sigurno je da ovaj čin treba pozdraviti, odgovorne treba kazniti", zaključio je Penava.

Ministarstvo unutarnjih poslova potvrdilo je kako se provode završna kriminalistička istraživanja u svezi ratnog zločina počinjenog na Ovčari 1991. godine te da je postupanjem policije obuhvaćeno više osoba.

Načelnik vukovarsko-srijemske općine Negoslavci Dušan Jeckov novinarima je rekao da je policija privela osam mještana Negoslavaca te da je riječ o osobama koje su tijekom rata bili uglavnom zaposlenici Vupika.

Iz vukovarske bolnice nakon pada Vukovara 18. studenoga 1991. odvedeno je oko 260 ranjenika i civila, a njih 200 je dva dana poslije pogubljeno na Ovčari. Za oko 60 preostalih zatočenika odvedenih iz bolnice još se traga i njihova imena nalaze se na popisu zatočenih i nestalih hrvatskih branitelja i civila iz Domovinskog rata.

Vukovarski gradonačelnik Ivan Penava pozdravio je u srijedu akciju policije koja od jutros provodi završne radnje kriminalističkog istraživanja u svezi s ratnim zločinom na Ovčari počinjenim u studenome 1991., iako mu je, kako je rekao, pomalo "sumnjiv" tajming akcije.

"Tajming je sumnjiv, korupcijske afere, naučili smo da kad god nešto gori, bacimo kost Vukovarcima. Na Vukovar je cijela država osjetljiva, najlakše je zaboraviti neke stvari. 29 godina nažalost gledamo tu praksu i tu vrstu politike", rekao je Penava u izjavi za RTL.

Poručio je kako smo dužni njegovati sjećanje i tražiti pravdu za svakoga.

"Međutim, treba reći i zahvaliti i onim profesionalcima koji su doveli i do današnjeg čina, ali ne treba biti naivan. Današnji čin uhićenja je samo jedna stavka u nizu koje trebaju dovesti do pravde i pravomoćnih presuda. Sigurno je da ovaj čin treba pozdraviti, odgovorne treba kazniti", zaključio je Penava.

Ministarstvo unutarnjih poslova potvrdilo je kako se provode završna kriminalistička istraživanja u svezi ratnog zločina počinjenog na Ovčari 1991. godine te da je postupanjem policije obuhvaćeno više osoba.

Načelnik vukovarsko-srijemske općine Negoslavci Dušan Jeckov novinarima je rekao da je policija privela osam mještana Negoslavaca te da je riječ o osobama koje su tijekom rata bili uglavnom zaposlenici Vupika.

Iz vukovarske bolnice nakon pada Vukovara 18. studenoga 1991. odvedeno je oko 260 ranjenika i civila, a njih 200 je dva dana poslije pogubljeno na Ovčari. Za oko 60 preostalih zatočenika odvedenih iz bolnice još se traga i njihova imena nalaze se na popisu zatočenih i nestalih hrvatskih branitelja i civila iz Domovinskog rata.

Vukovarski gradonačelnik Ivan Penava pozdravio je u srijedu akciju policije koja od jutros provodi završne radnje kriminalističkog istraživanja u svezi s ratnim zločinom na Ovčari počinjenim u studenome 1991., iako mu je, kako je rekao, pomalo "sumnjiv" tajming akcije.

"Tajming je sumnjiv, korupcijske afere, naučili smo da kad god nešto gori, bacimo kost Vukovarcima. Na Vukovar je cijela država osjetljiva, najlakše je zaboraviti neke stvari. 29 godina nažalost gledamo tu praksu i tu vrstu politike", rekao je Penava u izjavi za RTL.

Poručio je kako smo dužni njegovati sjećanje i tražiti pravdu za svakoga.
