U povodu dana Europskog dana sjećanja na žrtve svih totalitarnih i autoritarnih režima predsjednik Vlade Andrej Plenković položio je u nedjelju vijenac kod Vladine spomen ploče na Golom otoku te zapalio svijeću kod spomen križa, te naglasio kako je važno njegovati kulturu sjećanja.
Spomen ploča Vlade podignuta je u znak sjećanja na žrtve komunističkog režima stradale na Golom otoku i u sjećanje na žrtve svih totalitarnih i autoritarnih režima.
"Važno je da njegujemo kulturu sjećanja, bez istine nema ni svijesti niti poštovanja prema žrtvama niti u konačnici i pomirbe u kontekstu svakog europskog naroda pa tako i hrvatskoga", naglasio je tom prigodom Plenković.
"Povodom Europskog dan sjećanja na žrtve totalitarnih i autoritarnih sustava danas smo na Golom otoku da bismo odali počast, u ovom konkretnom slučaju, žrtvama komunističkog režima, koji je jedan od totalitarnih sustava, koji je obilježio povijest 20. stoljeća, isto tako Hrvatske i hrvatskoga naroda. Ne samo onih koji su ovdje relativno kratko nakon drugog svjetskog rata završili u kontekstu Informbiroa, nego i kasnije, brojni politički zatvorenici", rekao je premijer Plenković.
Podsjetio je kako je taj zatvor kasnije praktički egzistirao kao kaznionica do potkraj 80-tih.
Na novinarsko pitanje je li ovaj posjet ispravak nepravde, budući da premijeri ranije nisu često dolazili na Goli otok, Plenković je odgovorio da je to bila njegova želja, da ove godine dođe na Goli otok.
"Nisam prvi predsjednik Vlade ovdje na Golom otoku, dapače spomen ploča Vlade datira od prije desetak godina. Ovdje je prije dvije godine bio i predsjednik Hrvatskog sabora, dolazila su često izaslanstva, a ove godine sam i osobno želio posjetiti i odati počast", dodao je premijer.
Upitan je li riječ o novom smjeru Hrvatske, s obzirom da će se ići odati počast i u druga mjesta u Hrvatskoj, Plenković je rekao da su to odvojene stvari.
"To su dvije odvojene stvari. Ovdje smo na Europskom danu sjećanja u kontekstu totalitarnih sustava. Odlazak potpredsjednika Vlade Medveda u Grubore 25. kolovoza s potpredsjednikom Miloševićem je drugoga karaktera. On se odnosi na zločine koji su počinjeni naravno prije svega prema Hrvatima i hrvatskom narodu u Domovinskom ratu, a onda nažalost i nekoliko tih propusta, nedjela koja su bila i protiv građana srpske nacionalnosti u Hrvatskoj. Mislim da je dobro da iskažemo poštovanje prema svim žrtvama," rekao je Plenković
Uz predsjednika Vlade, Goli otok su posjetili ministar mora, prometa i infrastrukture Oleg Butković i posebni savjetnik predsjednika Vlade Zvonko Kusić.
Tijekom Prvoga svjetskog rata na Goli otok su bili internirani ratni zarobljenici, a od 1948. na njemu je bio zloglasni jugoslavenski zatvor za političke zatvorenike. Na obliženjemu Sv. Grguru bio je ženski odjel tog zatvora. Od 1956. na Golom otoku su zatvarani počinitelji teških kaznenih djela. Zatvor je prestao s radom 1988., a 1989. je napušten i danas je u ruševnom stanju.
U povodu dana Europskog dana sjećanja na žrtve svih totalitarnih i autoritarnih režima za zagrebačkom groblju Mirogoj potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar hrvatskih branitelja Tomo Meved zapalio je svijeće kod spomenika Glas hrvatske žrtve spomenika "Glas hrvatske žrtve – Zid boli", kod Grobnice narodnih heroja, na grobu Brune Bušića, na Spomen-obilježju hrvatskim žrtvama Bleiburga i križnih putova, te na grobu prvog hrvatskog predsjednika Franje Tuđmana.
"Naša kompleksna povijest, kao i mnogih naroda u Europi obilježena je velikim stradanjima. Stoga i danas osuđujemo sve totalitarne režime i odajemo počast žrtvama svih totalitarnih režima", izjavio je Medved.

U povodu dana Europskog dana sjećanja na žrtve svih totalitarnih i autoritarnih režima predsjednik Vlade Andrej Plenković položio je u nedjelju vijenac kod Vladine spomen ploče na Golom otoku te zapalio svijeću kod spomen križa, te naglasio kako je važno njegovati kulturu sjećanja.
Spomen ploča Vlade podignuta je u znak sjećanja na žrtve komunističkog režima stradale na Golom otoku i u sjećanje na žrtve svih totalitarnih i autoritarnih režima.
"Važno je da njegujemo kulturu sjećanja, bez istine nema ni svijesti niti poštovanja prema žrtvama niti u konačnici i pomirbe u kontekstu svakog europskog naroda pa tako i hrvatskoga", naglasio je tom prigodom Plenković.
"Povodom Europskog dan sjećanja na žrtve totalitarnih i autoritarnih sustava danas smo na Golom otoku da bismo odali počast, u ovom konkretnom slučaju, žrtvama komunističkog režima, koji je jedan od totalitarnih sustava, koji je obilježio povijest 20. stoljeća, isto tako Hrvatske i hrvatskoga naroda. Ne samo onih koji su ovdje relativno kratko nakon drugog svjetskog rata završili u kontekstu Informbiroa, nego i kasnije, brojni politički zatvorenici", rekao je premijer Plenković.
Podsjetio je kako je taj zatvor kasnije praktički egzistirao kao kaznionica do potkraj 80-tih.
Na novinarsko pitanje je li ovaj posjet ispravak nepravde, budući da premijeri ranije nisu često dolazili na Goli otok, Plenković je odgovorio da je to bila njegova želja, da ove godine dođe na Goli otok.
"Nisam prvi predsjednik Vlade ovdje na Golom otoku, dapače spomen ploča Vlade datira od prije desetak godina. Ovdje je prije dvije godine bio i predsjednik Hrvatskog sabora, dolazila su često izaslanstva, a ove godine sam i osobno želio posjetiti i odati počast", dodao je premijer.
Upitan je li riječ o novom smjeru Hrvatske, s obzirom da će se ići odati počast i u druga mjesta u Hrvatskoj, Plenković je rekao da su to odvojene stvari.
"To su dvije odvojene stvari. Ovdje smo na Europskom danu sjećanja u kontekstu totalitarnih sustava. Odlazak potpredsjednika Vlade Medveda u Grubore 25. kolovoza s potpredsjednikom Miloševićem je drugoga karaktera. On se odnosi na zločine koji su počinjeni naravno prije svega prema Hrvatima i hrvatskom narodu u Domovinskom ratu, a onda nažalost i nekoliko tih propusta, nedjela koja su bila i protiv građana srpske nacionalnosti u Hrvatskoj. Mislim da je dobro da iskažemo poštovanje prema svim žrtvama," rekao je Plenković
Uz predsjednika Vlade, Goli otok su posjetili ministar mora, prometa i infrastrukture Oleg Butković i posebni savjetnik predsjednika Vlade Zvonko Kusić.
Tijekom Prvoga svjetskog rata na Goli otok su bili internirani ratni zarobljenici, a od 1948. na njemu je bio zloglasni jugoslavenski zatvor za političke zatvorenike. Na obliženjemu Sv. Grguru bio je ženski odjel tog zatvora. Od 1956. na Golom otoku su zatvarani počinitelji teških kaznenih djela. Zatvor je prestao s radom 1988., a 1989. je napušten i danas je u ruševnom stanju.
U povodu dana Europskog dana sjećanja na žrtve svih totalitarnih i autoritarnih režima za zagrebačkom groblju Mirogoj potpredsjednik Vlade i ministar hrvatskih branitelja Tomo Meved zapalio je svijeće kod spomenika Glas hrvatske žrtve spomenika "Glas hrvatske žrtve – Zid boli", kod Grobnice narodnih heroja, na grobu Brune Bušića, na Spomen-obilježju hrvatskim žrtvama Bleiburga i križnih putova, te na grobu prvog hrvatskog predsjednika Franje Tuđmana.
"Naša kompleksna povijest, kao i mnogih naroda u Europi obilježena je velikim stradanjima. Stoga i danas osuđujemo sve totalitarne režime i odajemo počast žrtvama svih totalitarnih režima", izjavio je Medved.
