Sve se više pacijenata javlja u post-COVID ambulante prijavljujući posljedice koje ostaju i nakon preboljenja ove bolesti, javlja Dnevnik.hr.
Kako je u Vijestima Nove TV izvijestila reporterka Valentina Baus, ambulantu u KB Dubravi dnevno posjećuje dvadesetak pacijenata, a broj bi zasigurno bio još i veći da ima više liječnika koji bi se njima mogli baviti.
U posljednje vrijeme primijećen je porast hospitaliziranih. Doktor Đivo Ljubičić, internist i pulmolog iz KB Dubrava, objasnio je da se njih preko 75 posto žali na nedostatak zraka, oko 30-40 posto pacijenata dolazi zbog kašlja, a zatim slijede oni s kardiološkim i neurološkim simptomima.
Ljubičić je rekao da se ljudi trebaju zabrinuti ako simptomi duže potraju. Pojasnio je da se radi o akutnom COVID-u do mjesec dana.
- Nije ništa čudno ako netko kašlje ili osjeća tjelesne tegobe dok se oporavlja od koronavirusa. Ako to traje dulje od mjesec dana, onda to zovemo produljenim koronavirusom, dulje od tri mjeseca je to post-COVID sindrom - kazao je Ljubičić.Dodaje da, prema preliminarnim podacima, omikron na pluća ostavlja blaže posljedice, budući da taj soj manje oštećuje stanice tog organa.
- Puno više voli umnožavati stanice i inficirati ih kod gornjih respiratornih sustava - objasnio je liječnik.
Ljubičić je kazao i da su kod značajnog broja bolesnika, pogotovo onih hospitaliziranih, zapažene obostrane promjene na plućima - tzv. 'mliječna stakla' (eng. ground glass).
- To su promjene kad je još uvijek aktivna upala. Kad ta faza prođe, neki bolesnici mogu razviti kronične, fibrozne promjene na plućima i to je pravi post-COVID - pojasnio je Ljubičić.
Dobra je vijest da i te posljedice kod velikog broja bolesnika s vremenom prođu. Kod nekih potraju kraće, kod nekih dulje.
Liječnik dodaje i da je važno obratiti pažnju i na period u kojem je pacijent obolio.
- Bolesnici u prvom mjesecu oboljenja mogu razviti plućnu emboliju te im se može reaktivirati bolest. Nakon mjesec dana, može se javiti temperatura, kašalj, smušenost i tada je važno da se jave liječniku - poručio je Ljubičić te dodao da je intolerancija na napor jedan od slučaja kada se treba obratiti doktoru.
Ipak, optimistično zaključuje da u većini slučajeva nema razloga za paniku.
- Neki bolesnici trebaju produljenu terapiju, ali zbog toga smo tu, da se pobrinemu za njih - rekao je Ljubičić za Dnevnik.hr.

Sve se više pacijenata javlja u post-COVID ambulante prijavljujući posljedice koje ostaju i nakon preboljenja ove bolesti, javlja Dnevnik.hr.
Kako je u Vijestima Nove TV izvijestila reporterka Valentina Baus, ambulantu u KB Dubravi dnevno posjećuje dvadesetak pacijenata, a broj bi zasigurno bio još i veći da ima više liječnika koji bi se njima mogli baviti.
U posljednje vrijeme primijećen je porast hospitaliziranih. Doktor Đivo Ljubičić, internist i pulmolog iz KB Dubrava, objasnio je da se njih preko 75 posto žali na nedostatak zraka, oko 30-40 posto pacijenata dolazi zbog kašlja, a zatim slijede oni s kardiološkim i neurološkim simptomima.
Ljubičić je rekao da se ljudi trebaju zabrinuti ako simptomi duže potraju. Pojasnio je da se radi o akutnom COVID-u do mjesec dana.
- Nije ništa čudno ako netko kašlje ili osjeća tjelesne tegobe dok se oporavlja od koronavirusa. Ako to traje dulje od mjesec dana, onda to zovemo produljenim koronavirusom, dulje od tri mjeseca je to post-COVID sindrom - kazao je Ljubičić.Dodaje da, prema preliminarnim podacima, omikron na pluća ostavlja blaže posljedice, budući da taj soj manje oštećuje stanice tog organa.
- Puno više voli umnožavati stanice i inficirati ih kod gornjih respiratornih sustava - objasnio je liječnik.
Ljubičić je kazao i da su kod značajnog broja bolesnika, pogotovo onih hospitaliziranih, zapažene obostrane promjene na plućima - tzv. 'mliječna stakla' (eng. ground glass).
- To su promjene kad je još uvijek aktivna upala. Kad ta faza prođe, neki bolesnici mogu razviti kronične, fibrozne promjene na plućima i to je pravi post-COVID - pojasnio je Ljubičić.
Dobra je vijest da i te posljedice kod velikog broja bolesnika s vremenom prođu. Kod nekih potraju kraće, kod nekih dulje.
Liječnik dodaje i da je važno obratiti pažnju i na period u kojem je pacijent obolio.
- Bolesnici u prvom mjesecu oboljenja mogu razviti plućnu emboliju te im se može reaktivirati bolest. Nakon mjesec dana, može se javiti temperatura, kašalj, smušenost i tada je važno da se jave liječniku - poručio je Ljubičić te dodao da je intolerancija na napor jedan od slučaja kada se treba obratiti doktoru.
Ipak, optimistično zaključuje da u većini slučajeva nema razloga za paniku.
- Neki bolesnici trebaju produljenu terapiju, ali zbog toga smo tu, da se pobrinemu za njih - rekao je Ljubičić za Dnevnik.hr.
