Evo već tridesetak godina izlazim na izbore s gropom u želucu. Nije to sasvim neugodan osjećaj, ima i barem jednu dobru stranu.

Vraća me u mladost, u vrijeme dok sam pohađao školu, odnosno fakultet. Kao i svi kampanjci, na testove sam dolazio u najboljem slučaju poluspreman, obuzet strepnjom da će se i ta mršava polovica moga znanja istopiti kad sjednem u klupu. A kad bih se suočio s pitanjem koje nudi nekoliko varijanti odgovora, dugo bih i besplodno mozgao, kao oni kandidati u "Milijunašu", koji bez kraja i konca bulje u displej pred sobom, da bi na koncu promucali onu čuvenu očajničku rečenicu: "Nešto me vuče na be."

Tako se osjećam svaki put kad u dječjem vrtiću u blizini zgrade u kojoj živim sjednem na patuljastu stolicu i zaklonjen paravanom dugo proučavam izborni listić (izbor deminutiva je sasvim promašen, jer su liste iz izbora u izbore sve deblje, već su dostigle obujam osrednje skripte), sve dok me iz jalovih misli ne prene znakovito hmekanje, naime, glasno "hm" kojim me oni koji čekaju red pokušavaju požuriti.

I samog bih sebe rado požurio samo kad bih znao kako. Moj problem svodi se na jednostavnu činjenicu kako na svake izbore dolazim nespreman, bez čvrste odluke o tome za koga ću glasati, samo s iscrpnom listom odbojnih kandidata i stranaka. I, naravno, kad dođe vrijeme da nekoga ili nešto zaokružim, iznova se osjećam kao mlađahni muljator koji nema pojma koji je odgovor točan, pa se nećka i oklijeva, grijan tankom nadom da će mu nekim čudom na koncu ipak sinuti što treba učiniti.

Izbori mi ostavljaju ožiljke na duši čak i u onim rijetkim prigodama kada ih HDZ izgubi. Okej, stranka koju prezirem - dugo, nepokolebljivo, metodično i s velikom predanošću - doživjela je fijasko, ali kako se tomu radovati kad je pobjeda otišla na stranu ekipe za koju znam ili tek slutim da su, iako bolji od HDZ-a (jer je skoro sve, čak i kolitis, bolje od HDZ-a) u stvari bezveznjaci? Puno bi mi bilo lakše sudjelovati kao ispitanik u nekom od onih istraživanja javnoga mnijenja.

Tamo, naime, ne traže samo da izabereš svoga favorita, nego i da se očituješ o ljudima odnosno strankama koje ne simpatiziraš. Možeš biti opušten jer tvoje sudjelovanje ne pretpostavlja nikakvu odgovornost niti može na bilo što važno utjecati. Što je najvažnije, odgovore na neka pitanja znaš. Primjerice, na ono koga ne voliš.

Nekidan su se tako Hrvati prigodno izvučeni iz špila karata očitovali o vodostaju ljubavi prema istaknutim partijama i političarima i to nas je istraživanje obradovalo spoznajom da je u jeku plinske afere koja je razmjerima muljaže centrifugirala želuce svih pristojnih ljudi, potpora HDZ-u pala 0,7 posto. Da je pala sedam posto, za moj bi ukus to bilo nepodnošljivo malo, ali ona se okrhnula do brojčice od 0,7 posto, što otvara pitanje postoji li uopće ikakav pad ili se naprosto radi o minornoj statističkoj grešci.

Otvara, nažalost, i jedno još važnije, u stvari, strašnije pitanje: koliko novca treba ispariti u režiji i izvedbi HDZ-ovih odlikaša da bi se anestezirani Hrvati konačno trgnuli?

Ako je biračko tijelo zajedničara toliko brojno i stabilno da ga ne može pokolebati ni otkriće plinske marčapije, što onda uopće može? Koja to razbojnička gadost može poljuljati čvrsto uvjerenje ozbiljnog broja hrvatskih birača da je HDZ ono najbolje čime ova zemlja raspolaže? Ako im opraštaju pljačke (jer mnoge su dosad uredno dokumentirane, pa to ipak nije naškodilo rejtingu ove partije), bi li im kroz prste progledali i eventualne nasilničke ispade? Tko kaže da neće?

Fatalnih 0,7 posto otvara cijeli set neugodnih, duboko uznemirujućih pitanja. Mučniji od pitanja mogli bi biti samo odgovori, jer bi svaki sugerirao da lijep broj naših građana niti razumije niti pokušava razumjeti sam koncept pravednosti.

Kriminal za njih nije društvena anomalija koja bi ikoga trebala skandalizirati, nego normalna, redovita praksa koja, doduše, nije dopuštena svima, ali jest ljudima s partijskim pokrićem.

I znate što? Ti bešćutni, ravnodušni, moralno tupi građani kojima je HDZ uvijek i bez obzira na sve neodoljivo drag i simpatičan, zapravo su u pravu. U društvu u kojemu kriminal odavno nije anomalija nego uhodana poslovna praksa u režiji i izvedbi jedne stranke, ničemu se ne treba čuditi, ni zbog čega se ne treba šokirati. Nestale su ozbiljne pare?

Pa što onda, nije se dogodilo ništa ni neobično ni novo, samo se nastavio business as usual. A nositelji toga posla ne zaslužuju kritike, nego, dapače, komplimente jer ih ništa i nitko nije kadar pokolebati.

Evo već tridesetak godina izlazim na izbore s gropom u želucu. Nije to sasvim neugodan osjećaj, ima i barem jednu dobru stranu.

Vraća me u mladost, u vrijeme dok sam pohađao školu, odnosno fakultet. Kao i svi kampanjci, na testove sam dolazio u najboljem slučaju poluspreman, obuzet strepnjom da će se i ta mršava polovica moga znanja istopiti kad sjednem u klupu. A kad bih se suočio s pitanjem koje nudi nekoliko varijanti odgovora, dugo bih i besplodno mozgao, kao oni kandidati u "Milijunašu", koji bez kraja i konca bulje u displej pred sobom, da bi na koncu promucali onu čuvenu očajničku rečenicu: "Nešto me vuče na be."

Tako se osjećam svaki put kad u dječjem vrtiću u blizini zgrade u kojoj živim sjednem na patuljastu stolicu i zaklonjen paravanom dugo proučavam izborni listić (izbor deminutiva je sasvim promašen, jer su liste iz izbora u izbore sve deblje, već su dostigle obujam osrednje skripte), sve dok me iz jalovih misli ne prene znakovito hmekanje, naime, glasno "hm" kojim me oni koji čekaju red pokušavaju požuriti.

I samog bih sebe rado požurio samo kad bih znao kako. Moj problem svodi se na jednostavnu činjenicu kako na svake izbore dolazim nespreman, bez čvrste odluke o tome za koga ću glasati, samo s iscrpnom listom odbojnih kandidata i stranaka. I, naravno, kad dođe vrijeme da nekoga ili nešto zaokružim, iznova se osjećam kao mlađahni muljator koji nema pojma koji je odgovor točan, pa se nećka i oklijeva, grijan tankom nadom da će mu nekim čudom na koncu ipak sinuti što treba učiniti.

Izbori mi ostavljaju ožiljke na duši čak i u onim rijetkim prigodama kada ih HDZ izgubi. Okej, stranka koju prezirem - dugo, nepokolebljivo, metodično i s velikom predanošću - doživjela je fijasko, ali kako se tomu radovati kad je pobjeda otišla na stranu ekipe za koju znam ili tek slutim da su, iako bolji od HDZ-a (jer je skoro sve, čak i kolitis, bolje od HDZ-a) u stvari bezveznjaci? Puno bi mi bilo lakše sudjelovati kao ispitanik u nekom od onih istraživanja javnoga mnijenja.

Tamo, naime, ne traže samo da izabereš svoga favorita, nego i da se očituješ o ljudima odnosno strankama koje ne simpatiziraš. Možeš biti opušten jer tvoje sudjelovanje ne pretpostavlja nikakvu odgovornost niti može na bilo što važno utjecati. Što je najvažnije, odgovore na neka pitanja znaš. Primjerice, na ono koga ne voliš.

Nekidan su se tako Hrvati prigodno izvučeni iz špila karata očitovali o vodostaju ljubavi prema istaknutim partijama i političarima i to nas je istraživanje obradovalo spoznajom da je u jeku plinske afere koja je razmjerima muljaže centrifugirala želuce svih pristojnih ljudi, potpora HDZ-u pala 0,7 posto. Da je pala sedam posto, za moj bi ukus to bilo nepodnošljivo malo, ali ona se okrhnula do brojčice od 0,7 posto, što otvara pitanje postoji li uopće ikakav pad ili se naprosto radi o minornoj statističkoj grešci.

Otvara, nažalost, i jedno još važnije, u stvari, strašnije pitanje: koliko novca treba ispariti u režiji i izvedbi HDZ-ovih odlikaša da bi se anestezirani Hrvati konačno trgnuli?

Ako je biračko tijelo zajedničara toliko brojno i stabilno da ga ne može pokolebati ni otkriće plinske marčapije, što onda uopće može? Koja to razbojnička gadost može poljuljati čvrsto uvjerenje ozbiljnog broja hrvatskih birača da je HDZ ono najbolje čime ova zemlja raspolaže? Ako im opraštaju pljačke (jer mnoge su dosad uredno dokumentirane, pa to ipak nije naškodilo rejtingu ove partije), bi li im kroz prste progledali i eventualne nasilničke ispade? Tko kaže da neće?

Fatalnih 0,7 posto otvara cijeli set neugodnih, duboko uznemirujućih pitanja. Mučniji od pitanja mogli bi biti samo odgovori, jer bi svaki sugerirao da lijep broj naših građana niti razumije niti pokušava razumjeti sam koncept pravednosti.

Kriminal za njih nije društvena anomalija koja bi ikoga trebala skandalizirati, nego normalna, redovita praksa koja, doduše, nije dopuštena svima, ali jest ljudima s partijskim pokrićem.

I znate što? Ti bešćutni, ravnodušni, moralno tupi građani kojima je HDZ uvijek i bez obzira na sve neodoljivo drag i simpatičan, zapravo su u pravu. U društvu u kojemu kriminal odavno nije anomalija nego uhodana poslovna praksa u režiji i izvedbi jedne stranke, ničemu se ne treba čuditi, ni zbog čega se ne treba šokirati. Nestale su ozbiljne pare?

Pa što onda, nije se dogodilo ništa ni neobično ni novo, samo se nastavio business as usual. A nositelji toga posla ne zaslužuju kritike, nego, dapače, komplimente jer ih ništa i nitko nije kadar pokolebati.
