Subota se bliži. Na unutarstranačkim izborima članovi SDP-a imati će priliku odlučiti tko će ih voditi u godinama pred nama. Među kandidatima za novog predsjednika najveće oporbene stranke nalazi se i Ranko Ostojić, kojeg smo "uhvatili" na trenutak, s nekoliko brzinskih pitanja.
Za kandidaturu ste se odlučili praktički u posljednji tren. Zašto se oklijevali?
- Kandidirao sam se u roku, a o motivima sam kazao davno sve.
Jeste li se bolje pripremili za unutarstanačko nadmetanje, nego li, recimo, prošli put kada je trijumfirao Davor Bernardić?
- Nakon trideset godina članstva, pripremljen sam stalno. Podsjećam kako sam na posljednjim untarstranačkim izborima bio u drugom krugu. Peđa Grbin mi je tada bio šef kampanje, podsjetiti ću vas kako je tada Milanovićeva garnitura podupirala Orsata Miljenića, a i Tonino Picula je bio “u igri”. Sve smo uspjeli tada nadoknaditi, nažalost, nije bilo dovoljno.
Budete li novi čelnik SDP-a, što ćete mijenjati u radu stranke?
- Čelni čovjek stranke treba biti u stalnom kontaktu s tijelima stranke, sa gradskim odborima, treba biti na terenu, među članovima, svakodnevno parirati HDZ-u... Čelnik stranke treba imati Vladu u sjeni. Lider okuplja one koji su u svojem području najkvalitetniji. Mora biti informiran, treba znati ponuditi kvalitetne odgovore bez gledanja u papir. Treba parirati premijeru, koji laže ka dite na vrčini. Gleda te u oči i laže. Predsjednik SDP-a treba na to ukazivati, argumentirano.
Je li način na koji se bira predsjednik SDP-a pošten ili otvara mogućnosti za razne manipulacije? Primjerice postoji mogućnost primanja novih članova "na jedan dan", samo kako bi glas dali određenom kandidatu?
- Podnio sam prigovor Ivanu Čizmiću, predsjedniku Središnjeg izbornog povjerenstva, koji me uputio da se žalim Statutarnoj komisiji koju vodi Ivan Čizmić! Demokratskoj stranci trebaju demokratski izbori! Isključiti članove iz izbora zbog dugovanja znači isključiti dvije trećine SDP-ovaca, I to u trenutku kada se na sva usta govori o vraćanju simpatizera. Za to vrijeme, poraženo rukovodstvo u Saboru sve to gleda i gricka kokice.
Plavi trliši su, nažalost, prošlost. Sve je manje tvornica i radnika. Treba li se SDP okrenuti vlasnicima malih obiteljskih tvrtki, OPG-ova, mikropoduzetnicima i obrtnicima, kako bi artikulirao njihove interese, jer oni su ljudi koji žive od svog rada i često su upravo ti kojima treba pomoć u srazu s državnom administracijom?
- Sloboda, rad, jednakost i solidarnost, to je osnova SDP-ova rada. Uvijek smo u borbi za prava, pogotovo radnička prava. Pomogni onome koji je slab, živi od svog rada. Danas je svima jasno kako su “trliši” prošlost, ali i za zaslonom računala se radi za život, zar ne? Nama cilj mora biti zaštita onih čija su prava ugrožena. Kada se pobunimo zbog ugnjetavanja prava radnika, odmah nas se proziva kako se borimo protiv poduzetnika, a to nije ni blizu istini. Upravo je najbolja zaštita poduzetnika – zaštita njihovih radnika. Nužna nam je izmjena Zakona o radu.
Hoće li SDP, budete li mu na čelu, sklopiti možda koaliciju s Novom ljevicom i strankom Možemo, koje su uzele jedan dio SDP-ovog biračkog tijela, a podrška birača im raste iz mjeseca u mjesec?
- Nikad izdati principe socijaldemokracije i uvijek ulijevo!

Subota se bliži. Na unutarstranačkim izborima članovi SDP-a imati će priliku odlučiti tko će ih voditi u godinama pred nama. Među kandidatima za novog predsjednika najveće oporbene stranke nalazi se i Ranko Ostojić, kojeg smo "uhvatili" na trenutak, s nekoliko brzinskih pitanja.
Za kandidaturu ste se odlučili praktički u posljednji tren. Zašto se oklijevali?
- Kandidirao sam se u roku, a o motivima sam kazao davno sve.
Jeste li se bolje pripremili za unutarstanačko nadmetanje, nego li, recimo, prošli put kada je trijumfirao Davor Bernardić?
- Nakon trideset godina članstva, pripremljen sam stalno. Podsjećam kako sam na posljednjim untarstranačkim izborima bio u drugom krugu. Peđa Grbin mi je tada bio šef kampanje, podsjetiti ću vas kako je tada Milanovićeva garnitura podupirala Orsata Miljenića, a i Tonino Picula je bio “u igri”. Sve smo uspjeli tada nadoknaditi, nažalost, nije bilo dovoljno.
Budete li novi čelnik SDP-a, što ćete mijenjati u radu stranke?
- Čelni čovjek stranke treba biti u stalnom kontaktu s tijelima stranke, sa gradskim odborima, treba biti na terenu, među članovima, svakodnevno parirati HDZ-u... Čelnik stranke treba imati Vladu u sjeni. Lider okuplja one koji su u svojem području najkvalitetniji. Mora biti informiran, treba znati ponuditi kvalitetne odgovore bez gledanja u papir. Treba parirati premijeru, koji laže ka dite na vrčini. Gleda te u oči i laže. Predsjednik SDP-a treba na to ukazivati, argumentirano.
Je li način na koji se bira predsjednik SDP-a pošten ili otvara mogućnosti za razne manipulacije? Primjerice postoji mogućnost primanja novih članova "na jedan dan", samo kako bi glas dali određenom kandidatu?
- Podnio sam prigovor Ivanu Čizmiću, predsjedniku Središnjeg izbornog povjerenstva, koji me uputio da se žalim Statutarnoj komisiji koju vodi Ivan Čizmić! Demokratskoj stranci trebaju demokratski izbori! Isključiti članove iz izbora zbog dugovanja znači isključiti dvije trećine SDP-ovaca, I to u trenutku kada se na sva usta govori o vraćanju simpatizera. Za to vrijeme, poraženo rukovodstvo u Saboru sve to gleda i gricka kokice.
Plavi trliši su, nažalost, prošlost. Sve je manje tvornica i radnika. Treba li se SDP okrenuti vlasnicima malih obiteljskih tvrtki, OPG-ova, mikropoduzetnicima i obrtnicima, kako bi artikulirao njihove interese, jer oni su ljudi koji žive od svog rada i često su upravo ti kojima treba pomoć u srazu s državnom administracijom?
- Sloboda, rad, jednakost i solidarnost, to je osnova SDP-ova rada. Uvijek smo u borbi za prava, pogotovo radnička prava. Pomogni onome koji je slab, živi od svog rada. Danas je svima jasno kako su “trliši” prošlost, ali i za zaslonom računala se radi za život, zar ne? Nama cilj mora biti zaštita onih čija su prava ugrožena. Kada se pobunimo zbog ugnjetavanja prava radnika, odmah nas se proziva kako se borimo protiv poduzetnika, a to nije ni blizu istini. Upravo je najbolja zaštita poduzetnika – zaštita njihovih radnika. Nužna nam je izmjena Zakona o radu.
Hoće li SDP, budete li mu na čelu, sklopiti možda koaliciju s Novom ljevicom i strankom Možemo, koje su uzele jedan dio SDP-ovog biračkog tijela, a podrška birača im raste iz mjeseca u mjesec?
- Nikad izdati principe socijaldemokracije i uvijek ulijevo!
