Zbog čega je od svih ponuda izabrao upravo Sveučilišnu kliničku bolnicu Mostar? Je li Hercegovina dobar izbor? Dokle se stiglo u izgradnji tima mladih stručnjaka na Bijelom Brijegu i je li cilj da učenici nadmaše svoga učitelja? Je li oprema koju ima Mostar suvremenija od zagrebačke? Traže li ga i dalje iz svih područja BiH i Hrvatske i može li se emocionalno distancirati od svojih pacijenata? Kako se nosi s gubicima, a kako se osjeća kada spasi nekoga? Od svih oblasti zašto se odlučio za onu najmanje istraženu - mozak? Na koji način zaustaviti odlazak mladih obrazovanih kadrova u zdravstvu? 

O tim i drugim temama za "Kompas" RTV-a Herceg-Bosne u utorak navečer govorio je čovjek-institucija hrvatske medicine, neurokirurg prof. dr. sc. Josip Paladino, prenosi Pogled.ba.

"Smisao mog dolaska u Mostar je da stvorimo jezgru koja će ostati i biti tu, a ne da šaljemo pacijente za Zagreb", rekao je i dodao kako je danas jako mali broj lokalnih pacijenata koji idu na liječenje izvan Mostara. Štoviše, spomenuo je pacijenta koji mu je u Mostar nedavno došao s Korčule.

"Dobra je odluka što sam odlučio doći u Mostar. Liječenje u Sveučilišnoj kliničkoj bolnici je najveća korist za narod ovdje", kazao je dr. Paladino te naglasio kako zadnjih šest godina pola vremena provodi u Mostaru, a pola u Zagrebu. "Time sam svojoj obitelji napravio loše. Oni meni strašno nedostaju. Kada sam u Zagrebu nastojim do kraja iskoristi obiteljsku atmosferu. Sastajemo se subotom i nedjeljom poslije mise, a obitelj je ključ cijele priče."

Kazao je kako njegove kolege na Klinici za neurokirurgiju u Mostaru nisu slučajnu tu. "Kada smo inaugurirali neke novosti koje smo uveli prvi put u ovom dijelu Europe, dr. Marko Bošnjak je lider ekipe koja je to uradila. Hvale ga sa zaslugom!" Dodao je kako je tim probran po tome da imaju ambiciju, želju, sposobnost te da ne ovise o tome do kada je radno vrijeme, kolika je pauza, koje dane su slobodni i slično.

Istaknuo je kako bez ravnatelja Sveučilišne kliničke bolnice Mostar prof. dr. Ante Kvesića ne bi bilo ni bolnice ni Klinike za neurokirurgiju. "Od razine odjela došli smo do klinike. U nekim dijelovima je oprema u Mostaru bolja od opreme kojom raspolažu kolege u Zagrebu.  Trebalo je ulaganje u ljude, tehnologiju i učenje - ravnatelj Kvesić je to prepoznao. Danas u Mostar dolazi puno pacijenata iz Republike Hrvatske."

Dr. Paladino je naglasio kako treba imati empatiju, toplinu i ljubav prema pacijentima. "Ne radimo s vrećama cementa, kockama i ciglama, radimo s ljudima, ljudskim sudbinama, imenima i prezimenima. Nikada mi nije teško čuti probleme pacijenata i njihovih obitelji - pomoći ću ako mogu."

Kazao je kako se operirajući dijete za koje zna da će ga izgubiti obraća Bogu. "Išao sam se konzultirati, kao Abraham pogađati, jer je to nešto najgore što se može dogoditi. Nisam bio siguran je li to ispravno pa sam razgovarao i sa župnikom. To zvuči ružno, ali ja bih se pogodio. Ja sam svoj život proživio, a netko od dvije godine nije vidio ni doživio ništa", kazao je dr. Paladino i dodao kako u poslu kojim se bavi mora biti svjestan da se takvo nešto može dogoditi.

"Ako nešto nije uspjelo, ja taj film vrtim noćima, kada svi spavaju, razmišljajući jesam li možda trebao ovako ili onako, što sam pogriješio, što sam mogao napraviti bolje. To vam ne da živjeti, ne da spavati", kazao je dr. Paladino i dodao da ako je sve prošlo u redu to se pohrani u memoriji. "Kada sve uspije, to je smisao onoga što radimo - napravio si nešto što ne može biti vrijednije, a to je da je netko živ."

Josip Paladino kazao je kako se, operirajući dijete za koje zna da će ga izgubiti, obraća Bogu

Zbog čega je od svih ponuda izabrao upravo Sveučilišnu kliničku bolnicu Mostar? Je li Hercegovina dobar izbor? Dokle se stiglo u izgradnji tima mladih stručnjaka na Bijelom Brijegu i je li cilj da učenici nadmaše svoga učitelja? Je li oprema koju ima Mostar suvremenija od zagrebačke? Traže li ga i dalje iz svih područja BiH i Hrvatske i može li se emocionalno distancirati od svojih pacijenata? Kako se nosi s gubicima, a kako se osjeća kada spasi nekoga? Od svih oblasti zašto se odlučio za onu najmanje istraženu - mozak? Na koji način zaustaviti odlazak mladih obrazovanih kadrova u zdravstvu? 

O tim i drugim temama za "Kompas" RTV-a Herceg-Bosne u utorak navečer govorio je čovjek-institucija hrvatske medicine, neurokirurg prof. dr. sc. Josip Paladino, prenosi Pogled.ba.

"Smisao mog dolaska u Mostar je da stvorimo jezgru koja će ostati i biti tu, a ne da šaljemo pacijente za Zagreb", rekao je i dodao kako je danas jako mali broj lokalnih pacijenata koji idu na liječenje izvan Mostara. Štoviše, spomenuo je pacijenta koji mu je u Mostar nedavno došao s Korčule.

"Dobra je odluka što sam odlučio doći u Mostar. Liječenje u Sveučilišnoj kliničkoj bolnici je najveća korist za narod ovdje", kazao je dr. Paladino te naglasio kako zadnjih šest godina pola vremena provodi u Mostaru, a pola u Zagrebu. "Time sam svojoj obitelji napravio loše. Oni meni strašno nedostaju. Kada sam u Zagrebu nastojim do kraja iskoristi obiteljsku atmosferu. Sastajemo se subotom i nedjeljom poslije mise, a obitelj je ključ cijele priče."

Kazao je kako njegove kolege na Klinici za neurokirurgiju u Mostaru nisu slučajnu tu. "Kada smo inaugurirali neke novosti koje smo uveli prvi put u ovom dijelu Europe, dr. Marko Bošnjak je lider ekipe koja je to uradila. Hvale ga sa zaslugom!" Dodao je kako je tim probran po tome da imaju ambiciju, želju, sposobnost te da ne ovise o tome do kada je radno vrijeme, kolika je pauza, koje dane su slobodni i slično.

Istaknuo je kako bez ravnatelja Sveučilišne kliničke bolnice Mostar prof. dr. Ante Kvesića ne bi bilo ni bolnice ni Klinike za neurokirurgiju. "Od razine odjela došli smo do klinike. U nekim dijelovima je oprema u Mostaru bolja od opreme kojom raspolažu kolege u Zagrebu.  Trebalo je ulaganje u ljude, tehnologiju i učenje - ravnatelj Kvesić je to prepoznao. Danas u Mostar dolazi puno pacijenata iz Republike Hrvatske."

Dr. Paladino je naglasio kako treba imati empatiju, toplinu i ljubav prema pacijentima. "Ne radimo s vrećama cementa, kockama i ciglama, radimo s ljudima, ljudskim sudbinama, imenima i prezimenima. Nikada mi nije teško čuti probleme pacijenata i njihovih obitelji - pomoći ću ako mogu."

Kazao je kako se operirajući dijete za koje zna da će ga izgubiti obraća Bogu. "Išao sam se konzultirati, kao Abraham pogađati, jer je to nešto najgore što se može dogoditi. Nisam bio siguran je li to ispravno pa sam razgovarao i sa župnikom. To zvuči ružno, ali ja bih se pogodio. Ja sam svoj život proživio, a netko od dvije godine nije vidio ni doživio ništa", kazao je dr. Paladino i dodao kako u poslu kojim se bavi mora biti svjestan da se takvo nešto može dogoditi.

"Ako nešto nije uspjelo, ja taj film vrtim noćima, kada svi spavaju, razmišljajući jesam li možda trebao ovako ili onako, što sam pogriješio, što sam mogao napraviti bolje. To vam ne da živjeti, ne da spavati", kazao je dr. Paladino i dodao da ako je sve prošlo u redu to se pohrani u memoriji. "Kada sve uspije, to je smisao onoga što radimo - napravio si nešto što ne može biti vrijednije, a to je da je netko živ."
