Sydney ima tri hrvatska katolička centra, a onaj u St. Johns Parku “Svetog Nikole Tavelića” je najveći i tamo živi najbrojnija hrvatska zajednica. Taj centar ima najbrojniju zajednicu volontera i župnih pomoćnika. Priču o bračnom paru, Josipi i Venu Akrapovič, koji su kao izbjeglice iz Bosne prvo bili u Njemačkoj, a onda otišli u Australiju, donosi Dnevnik.ba.

Novinar portala domovina.info razgovarao je s njima u gotovo praznoj obiteljskoj kući, jer su njihove stvari već spakirane i poslane kontejnerom za Bosnu, a ispred kuće stoji velika ploča na kojoj piše da je kuća prodana. Razgovarali su s novinarima u četvrtak 28. listopada, a otputovali tri dana kasnije, u nedjelju 31. listopada.

“Rođen sam 4. siječnja 1966. godine u Zenici u Bosni i Hercegovini, a supruga Josipa rođena Šantić je iz Viteza. 1993. godine smo krenuli doslovno iz pepela, iz zapaljene kuće, iz jedne male sobe u toj kući, ja ranjen u ratu na štakama, doslovno iz pepela... Kad pogledam dokle smo stigli, na drugi kraj svijeta, i što se ipak steklo i napravilo, mogu samo reći - hvala Bogu. 1995. godine otišli smo u Njemačku kod pokojnog ujaka u Koelnu gdje smo živjeli skoro pet godina. Radili smo. U Njemačkoj smo bili zadovoljni i imali smo dobar posao oko uzgoja i skladištenja organskog voća i povrća te cvijeća. No budući da su u to vrijeme svi morali kao izbjeglice napuštati Njemačku, kontaktirao sam svog drugog ujaka Tomislava Jandrića koji je živio u Sydneyu, nije mi to baš bilo jako drago, Australija je bila daleko, a sva rodbina mi je ostala u Bosni. Došli smo 15. rujna 1999. u Sydney, i nakon par dana smo odmah počeli raditi", ispričao je Veno za bosanske medije.

Tri smrti u zadnjih par godina, braće Ivice i Stipe te smrt sestre, bile su mi preokret u životu. Posebno sam volio brata Stipu, čak sam razmišljao nakon njegove smrti odmah se vratiti. Imam još četiri sestre, dvije žive s obiteljima u Njemačkoj, a dvije su u Vitezu", rekao je Veno.

- Došli smo u Njemačku bez znanja njemačkog jezika pa smo se snašli, jezik naučili i zaposlili se, pa opet Australija i opet sve ispočetka, od jezika do posla, i opet smo sve to uspjeli, a vraćamo se u svoju zemlju gdje govorimo svojim jezikom pa da se tamo nećemo moći snaći - smije se dok odgovara na pitanje hoće li se njih dvoje snaći u Bosni.

- Pamte se samo lijepe stvari. Kad smo došli ovdje, u Australiju, mnogi su nas pitali kakav je život u Njemačkoj, a ja sam im znala reći - da vam prvo pričam lijepe ili ružne stvari? Svaki početak je težak, Veno je htio nakon deset dana u Njemačkoj da se vratimo u Bosnu. Nije to jednostavno, ali moraš biti uporan i imati cilj. Ova naša crkvena zajednica, tj. župa Sv. Nikole Tavelića u Sydney, bila je nešto što nas je držalo i okupljalo, mnogi naši prijatelji ovdje još ne vjeruju da idemo. Ovom prilikom se zahvaljujem Blažu Dejanoviću i njegovoj agenciji za prodaju nekretnina koji su nam prodali kuću za izvrsnu cijenu i svima ih preporučujem - dodaje Josipa.

- Ne volim rastanke i ovo mi teško pada, mnoge smo ljude ovdje zavoljeli, bili su nam doista kao obitelj - kazao je Veno.

Na pitanje o planovima, Josipa kaže: "Prvo ćemo se dobro odmoriti od svega, jer ova prodaja kuće, pa stvari, pa punjenje kontejnera, sve zajedno više nas je umorilo psihički nego fizički, i zima u koju dolazimo u Bosni dobro će nam doći da se doista odmorimo. Uopće se ne opterećujemo time što ćemo dalje, kada dođemo dolje pa malo vidimo svakako ćemo nešto izabrati jer ne mislimo sjediti desetak godina do mirovine. Naučili smo raditi i ne bismo ni mogli sjediti i mirovati. Posla i života se ne bojimo. Bilo nam je lijepo u Australiji, no puna srca i duše jedva čekamo našu Bosnu i Hercegovinu i našu Hrvatsku te sve drage ljude koji nas tamo čekaju! Hvala na svemu, Njemačka i Australija, mi se vraćamo kući!", prenosi Dnevnik.ba.

Sydney ima tri hrvatska katolička centra, a onaj u St. Johns Parku “Svetog Nikole Tavelića” je najveći i tamo živi najbrojnija hrvatska zajednica. Taj centar ima najbrojniju zajednicu volontera i župnih pomoćnika. Priču o bračnom paru, Josipi i Venu Akrapovič, koji su kao izbjeglice iz Bosne prvo bili u Njemačkoj, a onda otišli u Australiju, donosi Dnevnik.ba.

Novinar portala domovina.info razgovarao je s njima u gotovo praznoj obiteljskoj kući, jer su njihove stvari već spakirane i poslane kontejnerom za Bosnu, a ispred kuće stoji velika ploča na kojoj piše da je kuća prodana. Razgovarali su s novinarima u četvrtak 28. listopada, a otputovali tri dana kasnije, u nedjelju 31. listopada.

“Rođen sam 4. siječnja 1966. godine u Zenici u Bosni i Hercegovini, a supruga Josipa rođena Šantić je iz Viteza. 1993. godine smo krenuli doslovno iz pepela, iz zapaljene kuće, iz jedne male sobe u toj kući, ja ranjen u ratu na štakama, doslovno iz pepela... Kad pogledam dokle smo stigli, na drugi kraj svijeta, i što se ipak steklo i napravilo, mogu samo reći - hvala Bogu. 1995. godine otišli smo u Njemačku kod pokojnog ujaka u Koelnu gdje smo živjeli skoro pet godina. Radili smo. U Njemačkoj smo bili zadovoljni i imali smo dobar posao oko uzgoja i skladištenja organskog voća i povrća te cvijeća. No budući da su u to vrijeme svi morali kao izbjeglice napuštati Njemačku, kontaktirao sam svog drugog ujaka Tomislava Jandrića koji je živio u Sydneyu, nije mi to baš bilo jako drago, Australija je bila daleko, a sva rodbina mi je ostala u Bosni. Došli smo 15. rujna 1999. u Sydney, i nakon par dana smo odmah počeli raditi", ispričao je Veno za bosanske medije.

Tri smrti u zadnjih par godina, braće Ivice i Stipe te smrt sestre, bile su mi preokret u životu. Posebno sam volio brata Stipu, čak sam razmišljao nakon njegove smrti odmah se vratiti. Imam još četiri sestre, dvije žive s obiteljima u Njemačkoj, a dvije su u Vitezu", rekao je Veno.

- Došli smo u Njemačku bez znanja njemačkog jezika pa smo se snašli, jezik naučili i zaposlili se, pa opet Australija i opet sve ispočetka, od jezika do posla, i opet smo sve to uspjeli, a vraćamo se u svoju zemlju gdje govorimo svojim jezikom pa da se tamo nećemo moći snaći - smije se dok odgovara na pitanje hoće li se njih dvoje snaći u Bosni.

- Pamte se samo lijepe stvari. Kad smo došli ovdje, u Australiju, mnogi su nas pitali kakav je život u Njemačkoj, a ja sam im znala reći - da vam prvo pričam lijepe ili ružne stvari? Svaki početak je težak, Veno je htio nakon deset dana u Njemačkoj da se vratimo u Bosnu. Nije to jednostavno, ali moraš biti uporan i imati cilj. Ova naša crkvena zajednica, tj. župa Sv. Nikole Tavelića u Sydney, bila je nešto što nas je držalo i okupljalo, mnogi naši prijatelji ovdje još ne vjeruju da idemo. Ovom prilikom se zahvaljujem Blažu Dejanoviću i njegovoj agenciji za prodaju nekretnina koji su nam prodali kuću za izvrsnu cijenu i svima ih preporučujem - dodaje Josipa.

- Ne volim rastanke i ovo mi teško pada, mnoge smo ljude ovdje zavoljeli, bili su nam doista kao obitelj - kazao je Veno.

Na pitanje o planovima, Josipa kaže: "Prvo ćemo se dobro odmoriti od svega, jer ova prodaja kuće, pa stvari, pa punjenje kontejnera, sve zajedno više nas je umorilo psihički nego fizički, i zima u koju dolazimo u Bosni dobro će nam doći da se doista odmorimo. Uopće se ne opterećujemo time što ćemo dalje, kada dođemo dolje pa malo vidimo svakako ćemo nešto izabrati jer ne mislimo sjediti desetak godina do mirovine. Naučili smo raditi i ne bismo ni mogli sjediti i mirovati. Posla i života se ne bojimo. Bilo nam je lijepo u Australiji, no puna srca i duše jedva čekamo našu Bosnu i Hercegovinu i našu Hrvatsku te sve drage ljude koji nas tamo čekaju! Hvala na svemu, Njemačka i Australija, mi se vraćamo kući!", prenosi Dnevnik.ba.

Sydney ima tri hrvatska katolička centra, a onaj u St. Johns Parku “Svetog Nikole Tavelića” je najveći i tamo živi najbrojnija hrvatska zajednica. Taj centar ima najbrojniju zajednicu volontera i župnih pomoćnika. Priču o bračnom paru, Josipi i Venu Akrapovič, koji su kao izbjeglice iz Bosne prvo bili u Njemačkoj, a onda otišli u Australiju, donosi Dnevnik.ba.

Novinar portala domovina.info razgovarao je s njima u gotovo praznoj obiteljskoj kući, jer su njihove stvari već spakirane i poslane kontejnerom za Bosnu, a ispred kuće stoji velika ploča na kojoj piše da je kuća prodana. Razgovarali su s novinarima u četvrtak 28. listopada, a otputovali tri dana kasnije, u nedjelju 31. listopada.
