Europska unija ne može razgovarati o svojoj budućnosti i europskom identitetu bez Srbije, čije je članstvo u EU geopolitički interes, rekao je u srijedu mađarski premijer Viktor Orban na Bledu u Sloveniji.

“Srbija nam treba zbog geopolitike”, rekao je mađarski premijer na Bledskom strateškom forumu, panelu koji se fokusirao na budućnost Europe.

“Srbija je ključna. Bez Srbije kao članice EU ne može se razgovarati o sigurnosti ili uopće o europskom identitetu. Nama je članstvo Srbije u EU potrebnije nego Srbiji. Ako ne integriramo Srbiju što je prije moguće, izgubit ćemo je”, zaključio je Orban, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Srbijanski predsjednik Aleksandar Vučić prisustvovao je panelu kao jedini predstavnik zemlje izvan EU-a, uz šest premijera EU-a, uključujući hrvatskog premijera Andreja Plenkovića. Vučić je rekao da je Srbija bila entuzijastična u procesu pristupanja EU, ali da tog entuzijazma više nema.

“Pronašli smo vlastite načine za prevladavanje ekonomskih problema i stvorili vlastite mehanizme”, rekao je.

Naglasio je da je njegova zemlja i dalje u potpunosti predana svom europskom putu, ali da "mora preživjeti i poboljšati uvjete života svojih građana".

Vučić zamjera EU, koju je opisao “kao najbolje mjesto za život na svijetu”, što ne nagrađuje napredak zemalja kandidata kada ispune neke od kriterija za članstvo.

“Sjeverna Makedonija je promijenila ime, data su joj obećanja da će se pokrenuti pregovarački proces, je li se to dogodilo?”, upitao je govoreći o sporu oko imena Sjeverne Makedonije s Grčkom i činjenici da pokretanje njezinih pregovora o pristupanju sada blokira Bugarska.

"Ne žalim se, samo govorim istinu i mi smo toga svjesni", rekao je.

Predsjednik Europskog vijeća Charles Michel rekao je na panelu da je EU, svjesna da mora biti vidljivija u Srbiji, povećala ulaganja u tu zemlju, što je Vučić potvrdio.

Europska unija ne može razgovarati o svojoj budućnosti i europskom identitetu bez Srbije, čije je članstvo u EU geopolitički interes, rekao je u srijedu mađarski premijer Viktor Orban na Bledu u Sloveniji.

“Srbija nam treba zbog geopolitike”, rekao je mađarski premijer na Bledskom strateškom forumu, panelu koji se fokusirao na budućnost Europe.

“Srbija je ključna. Bez Srbije kao članice EU ne može se razgovarati o sigurnosti ili uopće o europskom identitetu. Nama je članstvo Srbije u EU potrebnije nego Srbiji. Ako ne integriramo Srbiju što je prije moguće, izgubit ćemo je”, zaključio je Orban, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Srbijanski predsjednik Aleksandar Vučić prisustvovao je panelu kao jedini predstavnik zemlje izvan EU-a, uz šest premijera EU-a, uključujući hrvatskog premijera Andreja Plenkovića. Vučić je rekao da je Srbija bila entuzijastična u procesu pristupanja EU, ali da tog entuzijazma više nema.

“Pronašli smo vlastite načine za prevladavanje ekonomskih problema i stvorili vlastite mehanizme”, rekao je.

Naglasio je da je njegova zemlja i dalje u potpunosti predana svom europskom putu, ali da "mora preživjeti i poboljšati uvjete života svojih građana".

Vučić zamjera EU, koju je opisao “kao najbolje mjesto za život na svijetu”, što ne nagrađuje napredak zemalja kandidata kada ispune neke od kriterija za članstvo.

“Sjeverna Makedonija je promijenila ime, data su joj obećanja da će se pokrenuti pregovarački proces, je li se to dogodilo?”, upitao je govoreći o sporu oko imena Sjeverne Makedonije s Grčkom i činjenici da pokretanje njezinih pregovora o pristupanju sada blokira Bugarska.

"Ne žalim se, samo govorim istinu i mi smo toga svjesni", rekao je.

Predsjednik Europskog vijeća Charles Michel rekao je na panelu da je EU, svjesna da mora biti vidljivija u Srbiji, povećala ulaganja u tu zemlju, što je Vučić potvrdio.

Europska unija ne može razgovarati o svojoj budućnosti i europskom identitetu bez Srbije, čije je članstvo u EU geopolitički interes, rekao je u srijedu mađarski premijer Viktor Orban na Bledu u Sloveniji.

“Srbija nam treba zbog geopolitike”, rekao je mađarski premijer na Bledskom strateškom forumu, panelu koji se fokusirao na budućnost Europe.

“Srbija je ključna. Bez Srbije kao članice EU ne može se razgovarati o sigurnosti ili uopće o europskom identitetu. Nama je članstvo Srbije u EU potrebnije nego Srbiji. Ako ne integriramo Srbiju što je prije moguće, izgubit ćemo je”, zaključio je Orban, prenosi Jutarnji list.
