Dio haićanskih migranata koji su u utorak pomoću zrakoplova iz grada Del Rija u američkoj saveznoj državi Teksas deportirani u glavni grad Haitija Port-au-Prince odmah se pokušao ukrcati u isti taj zrakoplov, a neki su na njega bacali i kamenje, javlja BBC.

Sjedinjene Američke Države prošlog su vikenda krenule s deportacijama haićanskih migranata koji su se nagurali ispod mosta koji povezuje Del Rio i meksički grad Ciudad Acuña. Procjenjuje se da se pod mostom nalazi oko 13 tisuća migranata.

Spominje se i da je više tisuća migranata, uglavnom Haićana, zapelo pored granice Kolumbije i Paname.

Kaos u zračnoj luci

U Zračnoj luci Toussaint Louverture u Port-au-Princeu nastupio je pravi kaos kada je jedan muškarac pokušao ponovno ući u zrakoplov kojim su migranti deportirani. Reuters je izvijestio da je posada zrakoplova pohrlila kako bi na vrijeme zatvorila vrata i onemogućila mu da u njega uđe.

Snimke nastale u zračnoj luci pokazuju opći metež do kojeg je došlo kada su vrećice s osobnom imovinom migranata naprosto bačene iz zrakoplova. Pojedini mediji tvrde da nekim migrantima nije rečeno da će biti vraćeni u Haiti.

Ministarstvo domovinske sigurnosti SAD-a u utorak je konstatiralo da su se u Zračnoj luci Toussaint Louverture dogodila dva odvojena incidenta.

Izvor je medijskoj kući NBC rekao da su piloti jednog zrakoplova koji je korišten za deportaciju migranata napadnut nakon slijetanja u Haiti te da su ozlijeđena tri djelatnika američke imigracijske službe.

Drugi se incident zbio u Teksasu. Skupina Haićana sukobila se Graničnom policijom SAD-a i pokušala pobjeći nakon što su shvatili da će biti deportirani. Do sukoba je došlo u trenutku kada se migrante autobusom prebacivalo iz Brownsvillea u Del Rio.

- Kada su migranti doznali da će biti deportirani u Haiti, preuzeli su kontrolu nad autobusom i pobjegli - rekao je u utorak Brandon Judd, predsjednik Nacionalnog vijeća Granične policije.

Bijeg iz nestabilne zemlje

Partners In Health (PIH), nevladina organizacija koja djeluje u Haitiju, kritizirala je deportaciju haićanskih migranata.

- Nezamislivo je okrutno u ovim opasnim vremenima muškarce, žene i djecu vraćati nazad u Haiti, zemlju koju mnogi više ni ne smatraju svojom domovinom - rekli su PIH-a.

Prema podacima Ministarstva domovinske sigurnosti SAD-a, do sada je deportirano ili u druge centre za obradu prebačeno oko četiri tisuće osoba.

The Washington Post piše da bi se broj deportacijskih letova od četvrtka nadalje mogao povećati na čak sedam dnevno.

The Associated Press je u utorak izvijestio da se "mnogo, mnogo" migranata iz Haitija pušta u Sjedinjene Države. Citirajući neimenovanog američkog dužnosnika, AP je napisao da je tim migrantima rečeno da imaju 60 dana da se prijave u urede za imigraciju. Dužnosnik je rekao da će se njihove molbe za emigraciju u SAD tako brže obraditi.

Improvizirani kamp

Migranti su razrješenje svoje sudbine do sada čekali u improviziranom kampu koji im nije pružao bogzna kakvu zaštitu od vrućine, a lokalni su se dužnosnici mučili sa snabdijevanjem migranata hranom i sanitarnim čvorovima.

Većinu migranata u tom kampu čine Haićani, međutim, među njima ima i državljana Kube, Perua, Venezuele i Nikaragve.

Istovremeno, vlada Republike Kolumbije rekla je da je oko 19 tisuća migranata, većinom Haićana, zapelo na njezinoj granici s Panamom. Migranti često u Panamu uđu iz Kolumbije te onda pješke nastave prema SAD-u.

Visoki kolumbijski dužnosnik rekao je da se na granici stvorila gužva jer su se Panama i Kolumbija dogovorile da će ograničiti broj migranata koji u jednom danu mogu prijeći zaljev Urabá i ući u Panamu na 250. Dodao je da mnogi migranti u neprikladnim plovilima svejedno prelaze zaljev te da tako riskiraju živote.

Mnogi su Haićani svoju domovinu napustili nakon razornog potresa koji ju je pogodio 2010. godine te su se privremeno stacionirali u Brazilu i drugim južnoameričkim zemljama. Haiti se neko vrijeme bori sa siromaštvom, a zemlja je ove godine dodatno destabilizirana kada je u početkom srpnja izvršen atentat na predsjednika Jovenela Moïsea. Zemlju je potom u kolovozu pogodio još jedan potres.

Dio haićanskih migranata koji su u utorak pomoću zrakoplova iz grada Del Rija u američkoj saveznoj državi Teksas deportirani u glavni grad Haitija Port-au-Prince odmah se pokušao ukrcati u isti taj zrakoplov, a neki su na njega bacali i kamenje, javlja BBC.

Sjedinjene Američke Države prošlog su vikenda krenule s deportacijama haićanskih migranata koji su se nagurali ispod mosta koji povezuje Del Rio i meksički grad Ciudad Acuña. Procjenjuje se da se pod mostom nalazi oko 13 tisuća migranata.

Spominje se i da je više tisuća migranata, uglavnom Haićana, zapelo pored granice Kolumbije i Paname.

Kaos u zračnoj luci

U Zračnoj luci Toussaint Louverture u Port-au-Princeu nastupio je pravi kaos kada je jedan muškarac pokušao ponovno ući u zrakoplov kojim su migranti deportirani. Reuters je izvijestio da je posada zrakoplova pohrlila kako bi na vrijeme zatvorila vrata i onemogućila mu da u njega uđe.

Snimke nastale u zračnoj luci pokazuju opći metež do kojeg je došlo kada su vrećice s osobnom imovinom migranata naprosto bačene iz zrakoplova. Pojedini mediji tvrde da nekim migrantima nije rečeno da će biti vraćeni u Haiti.

Ministarstvo domovinske sigurnosti SAD-a u utorak je konstatiralo da su se u Zračnoj luci Toussaint Louverture dogodila dva odvojena incidenta.

Izvor je medijskoj kući NBC rekao da su piloti jednog zrakoplova koji je korišten za deportaciju migranata napadnut nakon slijetanja u Haiti te da su ozlijeđena tri djelatnika američke imigracijske službe.

Drugi se incident zbio u Teksasu. Skupina Haićana sukobila se Graničnom policijom SAD-a i pokušala pobjeći nakon što su shvatili da će biti deportirani. Do sukoba je došlo u trenutku kada se migrante autobusom prebacivalo iz Brownsvillea u Del Rio.

- Kada su migranti doznali da će biti deportirani u Haiti, preuzeli su kontrolu nad autobusom i pobjegli - rekao je u utorak Brandon Judd, predsjednik Nacionalnog vijeća Granične policije.

Bijeg iz nestabilne zemlje

Partners In Health (PIH), nevladina organizacija koja djeluje u Haitiju, kritizirala je deportaciju haićanskih migranata.

- Nezamislivo je okrutno u ovim opasnim vremenima muškarce, žene i djecu vraćati nazad u Haiti, zemlju koju mnogi više ni ne smatraju svojom domovinom - rekli su PIH-a.

Prema podacima Ministarstva domovinske sigurnosti SAD-a, do sada je deportirano ili u druge centre za obradu prebačeno oko četiri tisuće osoba.

The Washington Post piše da bi se broj deportacijskih letova od četvrtka nadalje mogao povećati na čak sedam dnevno.

The Associated Press je u utorak izvijestio da se "mnogo, mnogo" migranata iz Haitija pušta u Sjedinjene Države. Citirajući neimenovanog američkog dužnosnika, AP je napisao da je tim migrantima rečeno da imaju 60 dana da se prijave u urede za imigraciju. Dužnosnik je rekao da će se njihove molbe za emigraciju u SAD tako brže obraditi.

Improvizirani kamp

Migranti su razrješenje svoje sudbine do sada čekali u improviziranom kampu koji im nije pružao bogzna kakvu zaštitu od vrućine, a lokalni su se dužnosnici mučili sa snabdijevanjem migranata hranom i sanitarnim čvorovima.

Većinu migranata u tom kampu čine Haićani, međutim, među njima ima i državljana Kube, Perua, Venezuele i Nikaragve.

Istovremeno, vlada Republike Kolumbije rekla je da je oko 19 tisuća migranata, većinom Haićana, zapelo na njezinoj granici s Panamom. Migranti često u Panamu uđu iz Kolumbije te onda pješke nastave prema SAD-u.

Visoki kolumbijski dužnosnik rekao je da se na granici stvorila gužva jer su se Panama i Kolumbija dogovorile da će ograničiti broj migranata koji u jednom danu mogu prijeći zaljev Urabá i ući u Panamu na 250. Dodao je da mnogi migranti u neprikladnim plovilima svejedno prelaze zaljev te da tako riskiraju živote.

Mnogi su Haićani svoju domovinu napustili nakon razornog potresa koji ju je pogodio 2010. godine te su se privremeno stacionirali u Brazilu i drugim južnoameričkim zemljama. Haiti se neko vrijeme bori sa siromaštvom, a zemlja je ove godine dodatno destabilizirana kada je u početkom srpnja izvršen atentat na predsjednika Jovenela Moïsea. Zemlju je potom u kolovozu pogodio još jedan potres.

Dio haićanskih migranata koji su u utorak pomoću zrakoplova iz grada Del Rija u američkoj saveznoj državi Teksas deportirani u glavni grad Haitija Port-au-Prince odmah se pokušao ukrcati u isti taj zrakoplov, a neki su na njega bacali i kamenje, javlja BBC.

Sjedinjene Američke Države prošlog su vikenda krenule s deportacijama haićanskih migranata koji su se nagurali ispod mosta koji povezuje Del Rio i meksički grad Ciudad Acuña. Procjenjuje se da se pod mostom nalazi oko 13 tisuća migranata.

Spominje se i da je više tisuća migranata, uglavnom Haićana, zapelo pored granice Kolumbije i Paname.
