Austrija će podržati članstvo Hrvatske u šengenskom prostoru, rekao je austrijski kancelar Karl Nehammer u srijedu u Zagrebu, nakon što se njegov ministar unutarnjih poslova ranije usprotivio proširenju šengenske zone i izazvao zabrinutost da će Beč blokirati pristupanje Hrvatske s prvim danom iduće godine. 

O tri zemlje glasat će se pojedinačno i samo Bugarska i Rumunjska mogu strahovati od austrijskog veta, rekao je Nehammer nakon razgovora s hrvatskim premijerom Andrejem Plenkovićem.

"Podržat ćemo pridruživanje Hrvatske šengenskom prostoru, ali bit ćemo kritični prema nastojanjima Bugarske i Rumunjske", dodao je kancelar. 

Austrija je registrirala ulazak oko 100.000 migranata od kojih 75.000 prethodno nije registrirano ni u jednoj zemlji Europske unije. Dobar dio ilegalnih migranata ušao je preko Rumunjske i Bugarske. 

"Austrija se danas nalazi pred velikim izazovom. Imamo ogroman pritisak zbog ilegalnih migracija, a ne štitimo vanjsku granicu EU-a", upozorio je austrijski kancelar.

Beč se protivi širenju šengena na zemlje koje neučinkovito štite vanjsku granicu EU-a, što s Hrvatskom nije slučaj. 

"Hrvatska je ispunila sve svoje obveze jer možemo pratiti odakle dolaze ilegalni migranti", a Rumunjska i Bugarska "imaju problema sa zaštitom granica", naglasio je Nehammer. 

Plenković je izjavio da je "Hrvatska kao članica šengenskog prostora dio rješenja problema, ali Hrvatska nije problem".

Dodao je da je Zagreb svjestan zabrinutosti i poteškoća s kojima se Beč suočava u pogledu ilegalnih migracija i da je voljan svakoj zemlji dodatno pojasniti što je Hrvatska poduzela za zaštitu vanjskih granica EU-a. 

"Ohrabrujuća je i najava Europske komisije koja je spremna napraviti poseban akcijski plan za istočno mediteransku i zapadno balkansku rutu, koja bi skinula pritisak s Austrije. Veselim se nastavku razgovora i siguran sam da je ovaj posjet dobro planiran u posjetu tajminga i sadržaja", rekao je Plenković. 

Vijeće za pravosuđe i unutarnje poslove sastaje se 8. i 9. prosinca kad će donijeti konačnu odluku o ulasku Hrvatske u šengensku zonu.

Pristupanje Hrvatske ranije su podržali Europska komisija i Europski parlament.

Posjet LNG terminalu na Krku 

Plenković i Nehammer će zajedno s bavarskim premijerom Markusom Söderom u četvrtak posjetiti LNG terminal na Krku. 

Hrvatska širi kapacitet LNG terminala na Krku s 2,9 na 6,1 milijardi kubičnih metara plina. 

"Hrvatska dugoročno može postati istinsko europsko čvorište, osobito kada je riječ o prihvatu ukapljenog prirodnog plina", rekao je Plenković, dodavši da maksimalne hrvatske potrebe za plinom iznose 2,8 milijardi kubičnih metara plina. 

Nehammer je istaknuo da je Beč smanjio ovisnost o ruskome plinu s 80 na 21 posto od početka rata u Ukrajini i dodao da će se partnerstvo s Hrvatskom proširiti "u pogledu sigurne opskrbe energijom". 

Odnosi Zagreba i Beča "najrazgranatiji" 

Plenković je naglasio da su odnosi Hrvatske i Austrije "među najrazgranatijima među zemljama s kojima Hrvatska surađuje". 

Robna razmjena iznosila je prošle godine gotovo tri milijarde eura, dobar trend nastavljen je u ovoj godini, Austrija je u prvih pet vanjskotrgovinskih partnera Hrvatske i drugi investitor u Hrvatsku, zemlju je ove godine posjetilo milijun i pol austrijskih turista, istaknuo je premijer. 

Nehammer je istaknuo da "austrijske tvrtke vrlo rado ulažu u Hrvatsku jer je ona pouzdan partner" i čestitao Hrvatskoj na ulasku u europodručje 1. siječnja 2023.

Austrija će podržati članstvo Hrvatske u šengenskom prostoru, rekao je austrijski kancelar Karl Nehammer u srijedu u Zagrebu, nakon što se njegov ministar unutarnjih poslova ranije usprotivio proširenju šengenske zone i izazvao zabrinutost da će Beč blokirati pristupanje Hrvatske s prvim danom iduće godine. 

O tri zemlje glasat će se pojedinačno i samo Bugarska i Rumunjska mogu strahovati od austrijskog veta, rekao je Nehammer nakon razgovora s hrvatskim premijerom Andrejem Plenkovićem.

"Podržat ćemo pridruživanje Hrvatske šengenskom prostoru, ali bit ćemo kritični prema nastojanjima Bugarske i Rumunjske", dodao je kancelar. 

Austrija je registrirala ulazak oko 100.000 migranata od kojih 75.000 prethodno nije registrirano ni u jednoj zemlji Europske unije. Dobar dio ilegalnih migranata ušao je preko Rumunjske i Bugarske. 

"Austrija se danas nalazi pred velikim izazovom. Imamo ogroman pritisak zbog ilegalnih migracija, a ne štitimo vanjsku granicu EU-a", upozorio je austrijski kancelar.

Beč se protivi širenju šengena na zemlje koje neučinkovito štite vanjsku granicu EU-a, što s Hrvatskom nije slučaj. 

"Hrvatska je ispunila sve svoje obveze jer možemo pratiti odakle dolaze ilegalni migranti", a Rumunjska i Bugarska "imaju problema sa zaštitom granica", naglasio je Nehammer. 

Plenković je izjavio da je "Hrvatska kao članica šengenskog prostora dio rješenja problema, ali Hrvatska nije problem".

Dodao je da je Zagreb svjestan zabrinutosti i poteškoća s kojima se Beč suočava u pogledu ilegalnih migracija i da je voljan svakoj zemlji dodatno pojasniti što je Hrvatska poduzela za zaštitu vanjskih granica EU-a. 

"Ohrabrujuća je i najava Europske komisije koja je spremna napraviti poseban akcijski plan za istočno mediteransku i zapadno balkansku rutu, koja bi skinula pritisak s Austrije. Veselim se nastavku razgovora i siguran sam da je ovaj posjet dobro planiran u posjetu tajminga i sadržaja", rekao je Plenković. 

Vijeće za pravosuđe i unutarnje poslove sastaje se 8. i 9. prosinca kad će donijeti konačnu odluku o ulasku Hrvatske u šengensku zonu.

Pristupanje Hrvatske ranije su podržali Europska komisija i Europski parlament.

Posjet LNG terminalu na Krku 

Plenković i Nehammer će zajedno s bavarskim premijerom Markusom Söderom u četvrtak posjetiti LNG terminal na Krku. 

Hrvatska širi kapacitet LNG terminala na Krku s 2,9 na 6,1 milijardi kubičnih metara plina. 

"Hrvatska dugoročno može postati istinsko europsko čvorište, osobito kada je riječ o prihvatu ukapljenog prirodnog plina", rekao je Plenković, dodavši da maksimalne hrvatske potrebe za plinom iznose 2,8 milijardi kubičnih metara plina. 

Nehammer je istaknuo da je Beč smanjio ovisnost o ruskome plinu s 80 na 21 posto od početka rata u Ukrajini i dodao da će se partnerstvo s Hrvatskom proširiti "u pogledu sigurne opskrbe energijom". 

Odnosi Zagreba i Beča "najrazgranatiji" 

Plenković je naglasio da su odnosi Hrvatske i Austrije "među najrazgranatijima među zemljama s kojima Hrvatska surađuje". 

Robna razmjena iznosila je prošle godine gotovo tri milijarde eura, dobar trend nastavljen je u ovoj godini, Austrija je u prvih pet vanjskotrgovinskih partnera Hrvatske i drugi investitor u Hrvatsku, zemlju je ove godine posjetilo milijun i pol austrijskih turista, istaknuo je premijer. 

Nehammer je istaknuo da "austrijske tvrtke vrlo rado ulažu u Hrvatsku jer je ona pouzdan partner" i čestitao Hrvatskoj na ulasku u europodručje 1. siječnja 2023.
