Deseci tisuća Haićana došli su do granice SAD-a. Glasine su podgrijale nadu da će moći ući u tu zemlju i tamo ostati. Ali, predsjednik u kojeg ovi ljudi polažu nade ima drukčije planove.

U nastavku je opisana borba izbjeglica s Haitija, koju prenosi portal DW.

Nadu u američkom pograničnom gradu Del Rio predstavlja svijetlo žuta zgrada pored prašnjavog nogometnog igrališta. Tko je uspio doći dovde, taj je preživio prelazak preko rijeke, prešao granicu i zasad je na sigurnom. Tko u sjeni zgrade stoji u redu sa smeđom omotnicom u rukama taj ovoga strahovito vrućega dana čeka na autobus.

U hladu je više od 40 stupnjeva Celzijevih, ali ovdje ima vode, voća, a o izbjeglicama brinu dragovoljci organizacije Border Humanitarian Coalition. Ne vladaju više uvjeti nedostojni čovjeka kao ispod mosta preko rijeke Rio Grande koji povezuje Meksiko i Sjedinjene Države.

Charly je jedan od preko stotinu izbjeglica, gotovo svi su s Haitija. Ovaj 32-godišnjak je već dugo na putu, javlja DW.

Putovao je dva mjeseca, prošao kroz 12 zemalja. Sve za svoju budućnosti, kako kaže. Svoju domovinu je napustio prije više godina. Nekoliko godina je proveo u Čileu. Ali, zbog pandemije se tamo pogoršalo gospodarsko stanje. A povećala se diskriminacija. Nazad na Haiti, koji je nakon atentata na predsjednika Jovenela Moisea u srpnju i potresa u kolovozu upao u još dublji kaos, ne želi jer to ne obećava budućnost kakvu sanja Charly.

Sad je sa svojom plavom kapom i šarenom košuljom konačno u SAD-u. S obzirom da ima rodbinu u Orlandu nada se da neće biti vraćen. Tomu se nada i Edlin. Ova 27-godišnjakinja sjedi malo po strani i hrani svoju jednogodišnju kćer.

"Nadam se boljem životu", kaže ona. I ona je 2018. pobjegla najprije u Čile, a onda se prije dva mjeseca uputila prema SAD-u. „Dobro sam", kaže Edlin, unatoč svemu. Njezine rečenice su kratke, stalno gleda svoje dijete.

I Edlin ima omotnicu u kojoj su podaci kako doći do rodbine u SAD-u. Među izbjeglicama kruži priča da nitko tko ima rodbinu u SAD-u neće biti vraćen. Mnogi su povjerovali da će dolaskom Joea Bidena za američkog predsjednika sve biti bolje, da će moći useliti u tu zemlju. Ali, iako je Biden obećao humaniju politiku nego Donald Trump i zaustavio gradnju ograde na granici, nisu nestale prepreke na južnoj granici SAD-a.

Nekoliko kilometara južno od žute zgrade u Del Riu prestaje nada na crnoj željeznoj ogradi. Nakon što su objavljene slike tamošnjeg migrantskog kampa tamo je pristup zabranjen. Na jednoj već odavno zatvorenoj robnoj kući još su reklame na španjolskom za alkohol i cigarete. To je kao najava obećane zemlje koja polako blijedi.

Deseci tisuća Haićana došli su do granice SAD-a. Glasine su podgrijale nadu da će moći ući u tu zemlju i tamo ostati. Ali, predsjednik u kojeg ovi ljudi polažu nade ima drukčije planove.

Nadu u američkom pograničnom gradu Del Rio predstavlja svijetlo žuta zgrada pored prašnjavog nogometnog igrališta. Tko je uspio doći dovde, taj je preživio prelazak preko rijeke, prešao granicu i zasad je na sigurnom. Tko u sjeni zgrade stoji u redu sa smeđom omotnicom u rukama taj ovoga strahovito vrućega dana čeka na autobus.

U hladu je više od 40 stupnjeva Celzijevih, ali ovdje ima vode, voća, a o izbjeglicama brinu dragovoljci organizacije Border Humanitarian Coalition. Ne vladaju više uvjeti nedostojni čovjeka kao ispod mosta preko rijeke Rio Grande koji povezuje Meksiko i Sjedinjene Države.

Putovao je dva mjeseca, prošao kroz 12 zemalja. Sve za svoju budućnosti, kako kaže. Svoju domovinu je napustio prije više godina. Nekoliko godina je proveo u Čileu. Ali, zbog pandemije se tamo pogoršalo gospodarsko stanje. A povećala se diskriminacija. Nazad na Haiti, koji je nakon atentata na predsjednika Jovenela Moisea u srpnju i potresa u kolovozu upao u još dublji kaos, ne želi jer to ne obećava budućnost kakvu sanja Charly.

Sad je sa svojom plavom kapom i šarenom košuljom konačno u SAD-u. S obzirom da ima rodbinu u Orlandu nada se da neće biti vraćen. Tomu se nada i Edlin. Ova 27-godišnjakinja sjedi malo po strani i hrani svoju jednogodišnju kćer.

"Nadam se boljem životu", kaže ona. I ona je 2018. pobjegla najprije u Čile, a onda se prije dva mjeseca uputila prema SAD-u. „Dobro sam", kaže Edlin, unatoč svemu. Njezine rečenice su kratke, stalno gleda svoje dijete.

I Edlin ima omotnicu u kojoj su podaci kako doći do rodbine u SAD-u. Među izbjeglicama kruži priča da nitko tko ima rodbinu u SAD-u neće biti vraćen. Mnogi su povjerovali da će dolaskom Joea Bidena za američkog predsjednika sve biti bolje, da će moći useliti u tu zemlju. Ali, iako je Biden obećao humaniju politiku nego Donald Trump i zaustavio gradnju ograde na granici, nisu nestale prepreke na južnoj granici SAD-a.

Nekoliko kilometara južno od žute zgrade u Del Riu prestaje nada na crnoj željeznoj ogradi. Nakon što su objavljene slike tamošnjeg migrantskog kampa tamo je pristup zabranjen. Na jednoj već odavno zatvorenoj robnoj kući još su reklame na španjolskom za alkohol i cigarete. To je kao najava obećane zemlje koja polako blijedi.

Deseci tisuća Haićana došli su do granice SAD-a. Glasine su podgrijale nadu da će moći ući u tu zemlju i tamo ostati. Ali, predsjednik u kojeg ovi ljudi polažu nade ima drukčije planove.

U nastavku je opisana borba izbjeglica s Haitija, koju prenosi portal DW.

Nadu u američkom pograničnom gradu Del Rio predstavlja svijetlo žuta zgrada pored prašnjavog nogometnog igrališta. Tko je uspio doći dovde, taj je preživio prelazak preko rijeke, prešao granicu i zasad je na sigurnom. Tko u sjeni zgrade stoji u redu sa smeđom omotnicom u rukama taj ovoga strahovito vrućega dana čeka na autobus.

U hladu je više od 40 stupnjeva Celzijevih, ali ovdje ima vode, voća, a o izbjeglicama brinu dragovoljci organizacije Border Humanitarian Coalition. Ne vladaju više uvjeti nedostojni čovje...
