Elle Edwards, 26-godišnja kozmetičarka sa sestrom i prijateljima slavila je Božić u pubu Lighthouse, u Wallaseyju, gradiću u okolici Liverpoola, kada je na Badnju večer oko 23.50 upucana u glavu. Užasnuti prijatelji djevojke koja je ubijena ispred prepunog puba na Badnjak prisjetili su se njenih posljednjih trenutaka.
Jess, njena prijateljica koja je bila u istom pubu, rekla je za Sky News: ‘Otišle smo popiti piće. Samo par trenutaka prije smo se smijali i plesali, da bi ju zatim ugledala mrtvu na podu.‘
- Bili smo tako sretni. Sve se dogodilo jako brzo i ne mogu to izbaciti iz glave. Volio bih da smo nekako mogli učiniti više - dodala je Jess.
Nakon što su vidjeli kako Elle nepomično leži u lokvi krvi, posjetitelji puba pokušali su ju oživjeti umjetnim disanjem. No bilo je prekasno. Ubrzo je u bolnici proglašena mrtvom, piše Daily Mail.
Lucy, sestra preminule živi u Dubaiju. Ove godine doletjela je kući kako bi proslavila Božić s obitelji, a iz Lighthousea je otišla malo prije nego što je njena sestra ubijena.
U emotivnoj objavi na svom Instagramu napisala je: ‘Moja lijepa sestra, moja najbolja prijateljica. Volim te i nedostaješ mi, već toliko.Moja Elle May.‘
Jess priznaje kako joj se stalno po glavi vrti scenarij gdje je Elle otišla doma ranije, kada i njena sestra. - Možda bi onda još bila živa - tuguje Jess.
‘Plesale smo i pjevale. Imam video snimke svih nas koje ne mogu prestati gledati. Bili smo tako sretni‘, rekla je Meg, još jedna prijateljica Elle, koja je te večeri bila u pubu.
Žena koja živi u blizini puba, za zvuk pucnjave, prvo je pretpostavila da je riječ o slavljeničkom božićnom vatrometu.
- Čula sam pucnjeve, ali mislila sam da je to vatromet jer je bila skoro ponoć- rekla je za portal Liverpool Echo, Jenny Hough (77).
Drugi stanovnik Wallaseya, identificiran samo po imenu Phil, rekao je da je gledao televiziju u svojoj kući kada je čuo nekoliko ‘glasnih udaraca‘.
-Stvarno šokantno. Ovo je mirno i ljepo selo. Često posjećujemo Lighthouse pub, kao i još jedan pub iza ugla i nikad nije bilo problema. Zvuk koji sam čuo na Badnjak bio je neobičan, nije mi se činio kao vatromet- kazao je Phil.
Rekao je da su ‘minutu-dvije‘ nakon toga zvuka ljudi počeli izlaziti iz puba. Phil tvrdi da nitko nije bježao, niti stvarao paniku.
Gospođa Hough rekla je da je čula da je pub te večeri bio ‘tako krcat‘.
- Provaljeno je u vrt moje sestre. Sumnjamo da su to bili ljudi koji suizašli puba i zatim se pokušali se popeti preko zida i ući u njezin vrt kako bi se zaštititili- dodaje Jenny.
Uhićeni sumnjivci
Policija Merseysidea sinoć je potvrdila kako je pod sumnjom za ubojstvo i pokušaj ubojstva uhićen 30-godišnji muškarac. S njime je i uhićena je i 19-godišnjakinja, osumnjičena za planiranje ubojstva. U prvom policijskom izvještaju stoji i kako je napadač uputio hitce iz vatrenog oružja prema ulazu u pub, te kako je nekoliko minuta kasnije Mercedes A-klase tamne boje, za koji se vjerovalo da pripada napadačiuma, primijećen kako odlazi s parkirališta puba. Vjeruje se i kako Elle Edwards nije ranije poznavala počinitelje napada.
I četvorica muškaraca koji su bili u pubu također su zadobili rane od vatrenog oružja, uključujući 28-godišnjaka za kojeg policija kaže da nastavlja primati liječničku pomoć u bolnici, ali više nije u kritičnom stanju.
Policija i dalje poziva sve koji su bili u blizini da ‘učine pravu stvar i progovore‘ ako imaju bilo kakve informacije o napadu.

Elle Edwards, 26-godišnja kozmetičarka sa sestrom i prijateljima slavila je Božić u pubu Lighthouse, u Wallaseyju, gradiću u okolici Liverpoola, kada je na Badnju večer oko 23.50 upucana u glavu. Užasnuti prijatelji djevojke koja je ubijena ispred prepunog puba na Badnjak prisjetili su se njenih posljednjih trenutaka.
Jess, njena prijateljica koja je bila u istom pubu, rekla je za Sky News: ‘Otišle smo popiti piće. Samo par trenutaka prije smo se smijali i plesali, da bi ju zatim ugledala mrtvu na podu.‘
- Bili smo tako sretni. Sve se dogodilo jako brzo i ne mogu to izbaciti iz glave. Volio bih da smo nekako mogli učiniti više - dodala je Jess.
Nakon što su vidjeli kako Elle nepomično leži u lokvi krvi, posjetitelji puba pokušali su ju oživjeti umjetnim disanjem. No bilo je prekasno. Ubrzo je u bolnici proglašena mrtvom, piše Daily Mail.
Lucy, sestra preminule živi u Dubaiju. Ove godine doletjela je kući kako bi proslavila Božić s obitelji, a iz Lighthousea je otišla malo prije nego što je njena sestra ubijena.
U emotivnoj objavi na svom Instagramu napisala je: ‘Moja lijepa sestra, moja najbolja prijateljica. Volim te i nedostaješ mi, već toliko.Moja Elle May.‘
Jess priznaje kako joj se stalno po glavi vrti scenarij gdje je Elle otišla doma ranije, kada i njena sestra. - Možda bi onda još bila živa - tuguje Jess.
‘Plesale smo i pjevale. Imam video snimke svih nas koje ne mogu prestati gledati. Bili smo tako sretni‘, rekla je Meg, još jedna prijateljica Elle, koja je te večeri bila u pubu.
Žena koja živi u blizini puba, za zvuk pucnjave, prvo je pretpostavila da je riječ o slavljeničkom božićnom vatrometu.
- Čula sam pucnjeve, ali mislila sam da je to vatromet jer je bila skoro ponoć- rekla je za portal Liverpool Echo, Jenny Hough (77).
Drugi stanovnik Wallaseya, identificiran samo po imenu Phil, rekao je da je gledao televiziju u svojoj kući kada je čuo nekoliko ‘glasnih udaraca‘.
-Stvarno šokantno. Ovo je mirno i ljepo selo. Često posjećujemo Lighthouse pub, kao i još jedan pub iza ugla i nikad nije bilo problema. Zvuk koji sam čuo na Badnjak bio je neobičan, nije mi se činio kao vatromet- kazao je Phil.
Rekao je da su ‘minutu-dvije‘ nakon toga zvuka ljudi počeli izlaziti iz puba. Phil tvrdi da nitko nije bježao, niti stvarao paniku.
Gospođa Hough rekla je da je čula da je pub te večeri bio ‘tako krcat‘.
- Provaljeno je u vrt moje sestre. Sumnjamo da su to bili ljudi koji suizašli puba i zatim se pokušali se popeti preko zida i ući u njezin vrt kako bi se zaštititili- dodaje Jenny.
Uhićeni sumnjivci
Policija Merseysidea sinoć je potvrdila kako je pod sumnjom za ubojstvo i pokušaj ubojstva uhićen 30-godišnji muškarac. S njime je i uhićena je i 19-godišnjakinja, osumnjičena za planiranje ubojstva. U prvom policijskom izvještaju stoji i kako je napadač uputio hitce iz vatrenog oružja prema ulazu u pub, te kako je nekoliko minuta kasnije Mercedes A-klase tamne boje, za koji se vjerovalo da pripada napadačiuma, primijećen kako odlazi s parkirališta puba. Vjeruje se i kako Elle Edwards nije ranije poznavala počinitelje napada.
I četvorica muškaraca koji su bili u pubu također su zadobili rane od vatrenog oružja, uključujući 28-godišnjaka za kojeg policija kaže da nastavlja primati liječničku pomoć u bolnici, ali više nije u kritičnom stanju.
Policija i dalje poziva sve koji su bili u blizini da ‘učine pravu stvar i progovore‘ ako imaju bilo kakve informacije o napadu.
