Kako se situacija u Afganistanu pogoršava nakon što su talibani preuzeli vlast, države članice EU-a pripremaju se za mogući novi val migranata koji će pokušati ući na njihov teritorij.
Od velikog priljeva migranata iz Sirije 2015., duž granica nekih država članica EU-a podignute su ograde s bodljikavom žicom kako bi se spriječio njihov dolazak unatoč pravu na azil zajamčenom međunarodnim pravom.
Po istraživanju koje je provela njemačka novinska agencija dpa, više od polovice država članica do sada je podignulo fizičke barijere na granicama kako bi osigurale svoj teritorij.
Budući da će iz Afganistana vjerojatno stići još ljudi, i to putem novih ruta poput Bjelorusije, mnoge članice obećavaju da će dodatno ojačati postojeće ograde i zidove.
POLJSKA
Prošli tjedan u Poljskoj su počeli radovi na izgradnji ograde na granici s Bjelorusijom dugoj 400 kilometara kako bi se spriječili ilegalni prelasci granice. Ograda će biti duga 190 kilometara, uz 130 koliko je već zaštićeno bodljikavom žicom. Gotovo 1500 vojnika trenutačno pomaže zaštititi granicu, a bit će ih raspoređeno još 500.
MAĐARSKA
Ograda s jako oštrom bodljikavom žicom proteže se duž cijele mađarske granice sa Srbijom. Projekt desničarskog premijera Viktora Orbana, opremljen dronovima i termografskim kamerama, koštao je gotovo 1,5 milijardi eura i sagrađen je u rujnu 2015. Jeftinija verzija s bodljikavom žicom podignuta je na granici s Hrvatskom.
AUSTRIJA
Austrija je sagradila ogradu dugu 4,4 kilometra na granici sa Slovenijom 2015. Ograda, koja je dijelom uklonjena kako bi mogli prolaziti izletnici, presjekla je šengensku zonu u kojoj je putovanje dopušteno bez provjera na granici.
SLOVENIJA
Gotovo polovica od 500 kilometara duge granice s Hrvatskom pokrivena je ogradom s bodljikavom žicom. Hrvatska je članica EU-a, ali nije u Schengenu i nalazi se na balkanskoj ruti prema srednjoj Europi.
GRČKA
Grčka vlada nastoji spriječiti migrante da prelaze vanjsku granicu EU-a s Turskom duž rijeke Marice, podigavši 27 kilometara ograda na plitkim dijelovima, uz 11 kilometara postojećih barijera. Ograde nadgledaju termografske kamere, dronovi i Frontexov aerostat. Bodljikava žica postavljena je i na graničnom trokutu između Bugarske i Turske kako bi se spriječilo krijumčarenje ljudi, a podignuta je i 34 kilometara duga ograda duž granice sa Sjevernom Makedonijom.
CIPAR
Vlada južnog Cipra sagradila je ogradu s bodljikavom žicom koja prolazi kroz podijeljeni glavni grad Nikoziju. Trebala bi spriječiti dolazak migranata u EU iz Turske preko samozvane Turske Republike Sjeverni Cipar.
BUGARSKA
Bugarska je od 2017. duž cijele granice s Turskom duge 259 kilometara podignula ogradu s bodljikavom žicom i termografskim kamerama. Zbog krize u Afganistanu, vlada je zapovjedila vojsci da pomaže u kontroli granica.
LITVA
Vilnius je objavio da gradi ogradu duž granice s Bjelorusijom dugom 508 kilometara kako bi spriječio ilegalne prelaske pošto Minsk dopušta sve većem broju ljudi da prelaze u EU kao odgovor na europske sankcije. Ograda će biti završena 2022. Barijere već postoje duž granice s ruskom enklavom Kalinjingradom, koje su podignute u trenutku jačanja napetosti s Rusijom 2017.
LATVIJA
Riga je također pod pritiskom da zaštiti svoje granice od migranata koji dolaze preko Bjelorusije pa je rasporedila bodljikavu žicu duž 37 kilometara granice između dviju zemalja. Latvija također gradi ograde duž ruske granice premda još nisu završene.
ESTONIJA
Tallinn gradi 115 kilometara dugu ogradu duž granice s Rusijom, a radovi bi trebali biti završeni do 2026., rekao je ministar unutarnjih poslova Kristian Jaani.
NORVEŠKA
Norveška je podigla ograde na granici s Rusijom nakon što su 2015. brojni migranti ušli u zemlju biciklom.
FRANCUSKA
Britanska vlada uložila je milijune u izgradnju zidova i ograda kod francuskog lučkog grada Calaisa kako bi spriječila migrante da prelaze u Britaniju. London i Pariz nedavno su se dogovorili da će dodatno pojačati kontrolu granica.
ŠPANJOLSKA
Španjolska vlada je 1990-ih podigla ograde oko sjevernih afričkih enklava Ceute i Melille koje ih dijele od Maroka. Barijere, koje su duge osam odnosno 12 kilometara, postupno su pojačane. Sada su visoke deset metara, sastoje se od dvije paralelne ograde s mrežom čeličnih kablova koje nadziru termografske kamere.

Kako se situacija u Afganistanu pogoršava nakon što su talibani preuzeli vlast, države članice EU-a pripremaju se za mogući novi val migranata koji će pokušati ući na njihov teritorij.
Od velikog priljeva migranata iz Sirije 2015., duž granica nekih država članica EU-a podignute su ograde s bodljikavom žicom kako bi se spriječio njihov dolazak unatoč pravu na azil zajamčenom međunarodnim pravom.
Po istraživanju koje je provela njemačka novinska agencija dpa, više od polovice država članica do sada je podignulo fizičke barijere na granicama kako bi osigurale svoj teritorij.
Budući da će iz Afganistana vjerojatno stići još ljudi, i to putem novih ruta poput Bjelorusije, mnoge članice obećavaju da će dodatno ojačati postojeće ograde i zidove.
POLJSKA
Prošli tjedan u Poljskoj su počeli radovi na izgradnji ograde na granici s Bjelorusijom dugoj 400 kilometara kako bi se spriječili ilegalni prelasci granice. Ograda će biti duga 190 kilometara, uz 130 koliko je već zaštićeno bodljikavom žicom. Gotovo 1500 vojnika trenutačno pomaže zaštititi granicu, a bit će ih raspoređeno još 500.
MAĐARSKA
Ograda s jako oštrom bodljikavom žicom proteže se duž cijele mađarske granice sa Srbijom. Projekt desničarskog premijera Viktora Orbana, opremljen dronovima i termografskim kamerama, koštao je gotovo 1,5 milijardi eura i sagrađen je u rujnu 2015. Jeftinija verzija s bodljikavom žicom podignuta je na granici s Hrvatskom.
AUSTRIJA
Austrija je sagradila ogradu dugu 4,4 kilometra na granici sa Slovenijom 2015. Ograda, koja je dijelom uklonjena kako bi mogli prolaziti izletnici, presjekla je šengensku zonu u kojoj je putovanje dopušteno bez provjera na granici.
SLOVENIJA
Gotovo polovica od 500 kilometara duge granice s Hrvatskom pokrivena je ogradom s bodljikavom žicom. Hrvatska je članica EU-a, ali nije u Schengenu i nalazi se na balkanskoj ruti prema srednjoj Europi.
GRČKA
Grčka vlada nastoji spriječiti migrante da prelaze vanjsku granicu EU-a s Turskom duž rijeke Marice, podigavši 27 kilometara ograda na plitkim dijelovima, uz 11 kilometara postojećih barijera. Ograde nadgledaju termografske kamere, dronovi i Frontexov aerostat. Bodljikava žica postavljena je i na graničnom trokutu između Bugarske i Turske kako bi se spriječilo krijumčarenje ljudi, a podignuta je i 34 kilometara duga ograda duž granice sa Sjevernom Makedonijom.
CIPAR
Vlada južnog Cipra sagradila je ogradu s bodljikavom žicom koja prolazi kroz podijeljeni glavni grad Nikoziju. Trebala bi spriječiti dolazak migranata u EU iz Turske preko samozvane Turske Republike Sjeverni Cipar.
BUGARSKA
Bugarska je od 2017. duž cijele granice s Turskom duge 259 kilometara podignula ogradu s bodljikavom žicom i termografskim kamerama. Zbog krize u Afganistanu, vlada je zapovjedila vojsci da pomaže u kontroli granica.
LITVA
Vilnius je objavio da gradi ogradu duž granice s Bjelorusijom dugom 508 kilometara kako bi spriječio ilegalne prelaske pošto Minsk dopušta sve većem broju ljudi da prelaze u EU kao odgovor na europske sankcije. Ograda će biti završena 2022. Barijere već postoje duž granice s ruskom enklavom Kalinjingradom, koje su podignute u trenutku jačanja napetosti s Rusijom 2017.
LATVIJA
Riga je također pod pritiskom da zaštiti svoje granice od migranata koji dolaze preko Bjelorusije pa je rasporedila bodljikavu žicu duž 37 kilometara granice između dviju zemalja. Latvija također gradi ograde duž ruske granice premda još nisu završene.
ESTONIJA
Tallinn gradi 115 kilometara dugu ogradu duž granice s Rusijom, a radovi bi trebali biti završeni do 2026., rekao je ministar unutarnjih poslova Kristian Jaani.
NORVEŠKA
Norveška je podigla ograde na granici s Rusijom nakon što su 2015. brojni migranti ušli u zemlju biciklom.
FRANCUSKA
Britanska vlada uložila je milijune u izgradnju zidova i ograda kod francuskog lučkog grada Calaisa kako bi spriječila migrante da prelaze u Britaniju. London i Pariz nedavno su se dogovorili da će dodatno pojačati kontrolu granica.
ŠPANJOLSKA
Španjolska vlada je 1990-ih podigla ograde oko sjevernih afričkih enklava Ceute i Melille koje ih dijele od Maroka. Barijere, koje su duge osam odnosno 12 kilometara, postupno su pojačane. Sada su visoke deset metara, sastoje se od dvije paralelne ograde s mrežom čeličnih kablova koje nadziru termografske kamere.
