Kontejnerski brod koji je u utorak usred noći udario u most u Baltimoreu prethodno je ostao bez pogona, ali je posada pravodobnim upozorenjem spasila živote ljudi na mostu, izjavio je guverner Marylanda Wes Brown.

Guverner Moore rekao je na tiskovnoj konferenciji da se brod kretao prema mostu "vrlo velikom brzinom" i da su oni koji su njime upravljali poslali signal za uzbunu i najavili da će udariti u most. 

Poziv u pomoć osigurao da više automobila bude zaustavljeno prije ulaska na most, čime je spriječena veća katastrofa.

"Ti ljudi su junaci. Sinoć su spasili živote", rekao je. 

Mosta Francisa Scotta Keyja u Baltimoreu urušio se nakon što u jedan od njegovih pilona usred noći udario kontejnerski brod Dali, dug gotovo 300 metara i pun tereta, koji plovi pod singapurskom zastavom, ali ga je unajmila danska brodarska kompanija Maersk.

Otklonjena je bilo kakva mogućnost da je udar broda bio teroristički napad, objavio je FBI. 

Spasioci su iz rijeke Patapsco izvukli dvije osobe, jednu neozlijeđenu, drugu u teškom stanju. Za šest ljudi još se traga, rekao je guverner Brown.

Oni su vjerojatno dio građevinske ekipe koja je radila na mostu u vrijeme kada se srušio. U rijeku su pala i tri automobila i dva kamiona. 

Most Francisa Scotta Keyja, dug 2,6 kilometara, žila je kucavica baltimorske luke. Premošćuje rijeku Potapsco, otvoren je 1977. godine i imenovan po autoru američke himne Star Spangled Banner. Njime godišnje prođe 11,5 milijuna vozila. 

Promet u baltimorskoj luci do daljnjega je obustavljen. 

Zatvaranje jedne od glavnih luka američke istočne obale SAD-a prijeti prekidom opskrbe robom od automobila do ugljena i drugih roba poput šećera. To bi moglo stvoriti uska grla i povećati kašnjenja i troškove, kažu stručnjaci.

Kontejnerski brod koji je u utorak usred noći udario u most u Baltimoreu prethodno je ostao bez pogona, ali je posada pravodobnim upozorenjem spasila živote ljudi na mostu, izjavio je guverner Marylanda Wes Brown.

Guverner Moore rekao je na tiskovnoj konferenciji da se brod kretao prema mostu "vrlo velikom brzinom" i da su oni koji su njime upravljali poslali signal za uzbunu i najavili da će udariti u most. 

Poziv u pomoć osigurao da više automobila bude zaustavljeno prije ulaska na most, čime je spriječena veća katastrofa.

"Ti ljudi su junaci. Sinoć su spasili živote", rekao je. 

Mosta Francisa Scotta Keyja u Baltimoreu urušio se nakon što u jedan od njegovih pilona usred noći udario kontejnerski brod Dali, dug gotovo 300 metara i pun tereta, koji plovi pod singapurskom zastavom, ali ga je unajmila danska brodarska kompanija Maersk.

Otklonjena je bilo kakva mogućnost da je udar broda bio teroristički napad, objavio je FBI. 

Spasioci su iz rijeke Patapsco izvukli dvije osobe, jednu neozlijeđenu, drugu u teškom stanju. Za šest ljudi još se traga, rekao je guverner Brown.

Oni su vjerojatno dio građevinske ekipe koja je radila na mostu u vrijeme kada se srušio. U rijeku su pala i tri automobila i dva kamiona. 

Most Francisa Scotta Keyja, dug 2,6 kilometara, žila je kucavica baltimorske luke. Premošćuje rijeku Potapsco, otvoren je 1977. godine i imenovan po autoru američke himne Star Spangled Banner. Njime godišnje prođe 11,5 milijuna vozila. 

Promet u baltimorskoj luci do daljnjega je obustavljen. 

Zatvaranje jedne od glavnih luka američke istočne obale SAD-a prijeti prekidom opskrbe robom od automobila do ugljena i drugih roba poput šećera. To bi moglo stvoriti uska grla i povećati kašnjenja i troškove, kažu stručnjaci.

FBI se oglasio o rušenju mosta u Baltimoreu, objavljeno i kako je spriječena još veća katastrofa: ‘Ti ljudi su junaci‘

Kontejnerski brod koji je u utorak usred noći udario u most u Baltimoreu prethodno je ostao bez pogona, ali je posada pravodobnim upozorenjem spasila živote ljudi na mostu, izjavio je guverner Marylanda Wes Brown.

Guverner Moore rekao je na tiskovnoj konferenciji da se brod kretao prema mostu "vrlo velikom brzinom" i da su oni koji su njime upravljali poslali signal za uzbunu i najavili da će udariti u most. 

Poziv u pomoć osigurao da više automobila bude zaustavljeno prije ulaska na most, čime je spriječena veća katastrofa.

"Ti ljudi su junaci. Sinoć su spasili živote", rekao je. 

Mosta Francisa Scotta Keyja u Baltimoreu urušio se nakon što u jedan od njegovih pilona usred noći udario kontejnerski brod Dali, dug gotovo 300 metara i pun tereta, koji plovi pod singapurskom zastavom, ali ga je unajmila danska brodarska kompanija Maersk.
