Američka agencija za hranu i lijekove (FDA) odobrila je u nedjelju u borbi protiv koronavirusa korištenje antimalarijskih lijekova klorokina i hidroksiklorokina, ali isključivo u bolnicama. 

Ministarstvo zdravstva priopćilo je da je FDA dao zeleno svjetlo da te lijekove "propisuju liječnici pacijentima adolescentima i odraslima, koji su hospitalizirani zbog Covida-19, po potrebi".

Više zemalja započinje veća klinička ispitivanja djelovanja tih lijekova na koronavirus nakon što je istraživanje na malom uzorku pokazalo da bi lijekovi mogli biti djelotvorni.

Američki predsjednik Donald Trump nahvalio je 24. ožujka te lijekove. "Postoje dobri izgledi da će oni imati ogroman utjecaj", rekao je on nazvavši ih "Božjim darom".

Kontroverzni francuski liječnik Didier Raoult, ravnatelj IHU Mediterranee Infectiona u Marseilleu, zagovara primjenu klorokina u liječenju bolesti. Potaknuo je sumnju kod mnogih drugih liječnika koji upozoravaju da ispitivanje koje je proveo na malom broju pacijenata nije provedeno u skladu sa zlatnima standardima kliničkih ispitivanja, odnosno, među ostalim nije koristio kontrolnu skupinu ispitanika koji ne primaju ispitivanu aktivnu tvar. 

Američke zdravstvene vlasti upozoravaju građane da ne uzimaju lijekove na svoju ruku. Jedan stanovnik Arizone umro je nakon što je progutao klorokin fosfat, sredstvo koje se koristi za dezinfekciju akvarija.

Američki Nacionalni institut za zdravlje (NIH) i Agencija za biomedicinsko napredno istraživanje i razvoj (Barda) rade na kliničkim ispitivanjima.

Ispitivanje kombinacije  hidroksiklorokina i antibiotika azitromicina, trebalo bi uskoro početi u New Yorku.

Sjedinjene Države imaju više od 140.000 slučajeva zaraženih i  2.489 mrtvih, po podacima sveučilišta Johns Hopkins.

Američka agencija za hranu i lijekove (FDA) odobrila je u nedjelju u borbi protiv koronavirusa korištenje antimalarijskih lijekova klorokina i hidroksiklorokina, ali isključivo u bolnicama. 

Ministarstvo zdravstva priopćilo je da je FDA dao zeleno svjetlo da te lijekove "propisuju liječnici pacijentima adolescentima i odraslima, koji su hospitalizirani zbog Covida-19, po potrebi".

Više zemalja započinje veća klinička ispitivanja djelovanja tih lijekova na koronavirus nakon što je istraživanje na malom uzorku pokazalo da bi lijekovi mogli biti djelotvorni.

Američki predsjednik Donald Trump nahvalio je 24. ožujka te lijekove. "Postoje dobri izgledi da će oni imati ogroman utjecaj", rekao je on nazvavši ih "Božjim darom".

Kontroverzni francuski liječnik Didier Raoult, ravnatelj IHU Mediterranee Infectiona u Marseilleu, zagovara primjenu klorokina u liječenju bolesti. Potaknuo je sumnju kod mnogih drugih liječnika koji upozoravaju da ispitivanje koje je proveo na malom broju pacijenata nije provedeno u skladu sa zlatnima standardima kliničkih ispitivanja, odnosno, među ostalim nije koristio kontrolnu skupinu ispitanika koji ne primaju ispitivanu aktivnu tvar. 

Američke zdravstvene vlasti upozoravaju građane da ne uzimaju lijekove na svoju ruku. Jedan stanovnik Arizone umro je nakon što je progutao klorokin fosfat, sredstvo koje se koristi za dezinfekciju akvarija.

Američki Nacionalni institut za zdravlje (NIH) i Agencija za biomedicinsko napredno istraživanje i razvoj (Barda) rade na kliničkim ispitivanjima.

Ispitivanje kombinacije  hidroksiklorokina i antibiotika azitromicina, trebalo bi uskoro početi u New Yorku.

Sjedinjene Države imaju više od 140.000 slučajeva zaraženih i  2.489 mrtvih, po podacima sveučilišta Johns Hopkins.
