Članice skupine G7 trebale bi izdvojiti 10.000 milijardi dolara kako bi potaknule oporavak baziran na ulaganjima, čije će težište biti na cijepljenju protiv covida 19 i energetskoj tranziciji, pokazalo je istraživanje objavljeno u ponedjeljak.

G7 osnovan je 1975. godine kao forum najbogatijih država Zapada na kojem se raspravljalo o krizama poput naftnog embarga Organizacije zemalja-izvoznica nafte (OPEC).

Dnevni red summita zakazanog od 11. do 13. lipnja u Cornwallu otkriva nove prijetnje, kako ih vide u G7, uključujući Kinu, Rusiju, klimatske promjene i pandemiju koronavirusa.

Domaćin summita bit će britanski premijer Boris Johnson, budući da Britanija trenutno predsjeda skupinom, a očekuje se da će u Cornwall doputovati i američki predsjednik Joe Biden.

Johnson je uoči summita zatražio istraživanje o prioritetima grupe, a njegov autor, profesor London School of Economics Nicholas Stern konstatira da je G7 kao forum presudna prilika da najbogatija gospodarstva Zapada provedu stvarnu promjenu u svjetskom gospodarstvu.

"Prijelaz na klimatski otporan svijet bez emisija (štetnih plinova) najveća je ekonomska, poslovna i komercijalna prilika našeg doba", ocijenio je Stern u izvješću.

"U srcu je predložene vizije ekonomskog odgovora na pandemiju koordinirani globalni program ulaganja u oporavak, obnovu i transformaciju koji će mobilizirati sve oblike kapitala - fizički, ljudski, prirodni i društveni", napisao je Stern.

Zemlje G7, smatra Stern, trebale bi u ovom desetljeću ali i nakon toga postaviti zajednički cilj i povećati godišnja ulaganja za dva posto BDP-a u usporedbi s pretpandemijskom razinom i poboljšati kvalitetu ulaganja, predložio je.

To bi značilo da bi se ulaganja u sljedećih deset godina trebala povećati za dodatnih oko tisuću milijardi dolara godišnje.

Čelnici G7 trebali bi se pobrinuti i za ravnomjerno procjepljivanje ljudi širom svijeta i odmah osigurati preostalih 20 milijardi dolara za COVAX, globalni program nabave cjepiva za siromašne zemlje.

Britanski premijer već je pozvao članice skupine najbogatijih da s riječi prijeđu na djela kako bi zaustavile klimatske promjene, a autor izvješća smatra da bi G7 trebao sročiti vjerodostojne prijedloge za ostvarivanje klimatskih ciljeva američkog predsjednika.

G7 bi se trebao obvezati na ukidanje svih subvencija za fosilna goriva najkasnije do 2025. godine i preuzeti vodeću ulogu u opsežnoj energetskoj tranziciji, a trebali bi razmotriti i uvođenje minimalnog globalnog korporativnog poreza od 21 posto, sugerira Stern.

Članice skupine G7 trebale bi izdvojiti 10.000 milijardi dolara kako bi potaknule oporavak baziran na ulaganjima, čije će težište biti na cijepljenju protiv covida 19 i energetskoj tranziciji, pokazalo je istraživanje objavljeno u ponedjeljak.

G7 osnovan je 1975. godine kao forum najbogatijih država Zapada na kojem se raspravljalo o krizama poput naftnog embarga Organizacije zemalja-izvoznica nafte (OPEC).

Dnevni red summita zakazanog od 11. do 13. lipnja u Cornwallu otkriva nove prijetnje, kako ih vide u G7, uključujući Kinu, Rusiju, klimatske promjene i pandemiju koronavirusa.

Domaćin summita bit će britanski premijer Boris Johnson, budući da Britanija trenutno predsjeda skupinom, a očekuje se da će u Cornwall doputovati i američki predsjednik Joe Biden.

Johnson je uoči summita zatražio istraživanje o prioritetima grupe, a njegov autor, profesor London School of Economics Nicholas Stern konstatira da je G7 kao forum presudna prilika da najbogatija gospodarstva Zapada provedu stvarnu promjenu u svjetskom gospodarstvu.

"Prijelaz na klimatski otporan svijet bez emisija (štetnih plinova) najveća je ekonomska, poslovna i komercijalna prilika našeg doba", ocijenio je Stern u izvješću.

"U srcu je predložene vizije ekonomskog odgovora na pandemiju koordinirani globalni program ulaganja u oporavak, obnovu i transformaciju koji će mobilizirati sve oblike kapitala - fizički, ljudski, prirodni i društveni", napisao je Stern.

Zemlje G7, smatra Stern, trebale bi u ovom desetljeću ali i nakon toga postaviti zajednički cilj i povećati godišnja ulaganja za dva posto BDP-a u usporedbi s pretpandemijskom razinom i poboljšati kvalitetu ulaganja, predložio je.

To bi značilo da bi se ulaganja u sljedećih deset godina trebala povećati za dodatnih oko tisuću milijardi dolara godišnje.

Čelnici G7 trebali bi se pobrinuti i za ravnomjerno procjepljivanje ljudi širom svijeta i odmah osigurati preostalih 20 milijardi dolara za COVAX, globalni program nabave cjepiva za siromašne zemlje.

Britanski premijer već je pozvao članice skupine najbogatijih da s riječi prijeđu na djela kako bi zaustavile klimatske promjene, a autor izvješća smatra da bi G7 trebao sročiti vjerodostojne prijedloge za ostvarivanje klimatskih ciljeva američkog predsjednika.

G7 bi se trebao obvezati na ukidanje svih subvencija za fosilna goriva najkasnije do 2025. godine i preuzeti vodeću ulogu u opsežnoj energetskoj tranziciji, a trebali bi razmotriti i uvođenje minimalnog globalnog korporativnog poreza od 21 posto, sugerira Stern.

Članice skupine G7 trebale bi izdvojiti 10.000 milijardi dolara kako bi potaknule oporavak baziran na ulaganjima, čije će težište biti na cijepljenju protiv covida 19 i energetskoj tranziciji, pokazalo je istraživanje objavljeno u ponedjeljak.

G7 osnovan je 1975. godine kao forum najbogatijih država Zapada na kojem se raspravljalo o krizama poput naftnog embarga Organizacije zemalja-izvoznica nafte (OPEC).

Dnevni red summita zakazanog od 11. do 13. lipnja u Cornwallu otkriva nove prijetnje, kako ih vide u G7, uključujući Kinu, Rusiju, klimatske promjene i pandemiju koronavirusa.

Domaćin summita bit će britanski premijer Boris Johnson, budući da Britanija trenutno predsjeda skupinom, a očekuje se da će u Cornwall doputovati i američki predsjednik Joe Biden.
