Miokarditis i perikarditis su upalne bolesti srca. Prva pogađa srčani mišić, a druga ovojnicu koja okružuje srce

Cjepivo protiv covida-19 na bazi glasničkog RNA povećava rizik upale srčanog mišića i srčane ovojnice, ali je on rijedak i ne dovodi u pitanje korisnost cjepiva, ističe se u sveobuhvatnoj francuskoj studiji objavljenoj u ponedjeljak.

Ova studija koju je proveo Epi-Phare u suradnji sa Zdravstvenim osiguranjem (CNAM) i Agencijom za lijekove (ANSM) obuhvatila je osobe od 12 do 50 godina koje su u Francuskoj bile primljene u bolnicu zbog miokarditisa ili perikarditisa između 15. svibnja i 31. kolovoza, pri čemu je bilo 919 slučajeva miokarditisa i 917 slučajeva perikarditisa.

Miokarditis i perikarditis su upalne bolesti srca. Prva pogađa srčani mišić, a druga ovojnicu koja okružuje srce.

Kao što su već pokazala farmakološka izvješća, rezultati francuske studije potvrdili su da Pfizerovo, a napose Modernino cjepivo povećavaju rizik pojavljivanja ovih bolesti u roku od sedam dana nakon cijepljenja.

Svaki je slučaj uspoređen s kontrolnom skupinom s deset ispitanika koji su bili istih godina, spola i mjesta stanovanja, ali nisu imali miokarditis. Tako se rizik hospitalizacije zbog miokarditisa ili perikarditisa uspoređivao između cijepljenih i necijepljenih u inače sličnim situacijama.

Taj je rizik izraženiji, iako rijedak, kod muškaraca mlađih od 30 godina, napose nakon druge doze Moderne. Tako je cijepljenje potonjim prouzročilo 132 dodatna slučaja miokarditisa na milijun primljenih doza.

Kod žena mlađih od 30 godina, povećan broj slučajeva miokarditisa koji se može pripisati drugoj dozi Modernina cjepiva bio je 37 na milijun doza.

Što se tiče rizika perikarditisa, i on je bio izraženiji nakon Modernina cjepiva kod mlađih od 30 godina, posebno nakon druge doze koja je odgovorna za "suvišak" od 18 slučajeva na milijun doza kod mlađih muškaraca.

Nije prijavljen nijedan smrtni ishod među hospitaliziranima zbog upala srca koje su nastale nakon cijepljenja.

"Ako stavimo na vagu djelotvornost cjepiva protiv teških oblika covida-19 (ocijenjenu oko 90 posto) i postojeći, ali rijedak rizik s pozitivnim ishodom, odnos koristi i rizika cijepljenja nije upitan", ističe za AFP Mahmoud Zureik, ravnatelj Epi-Pharea.

Miokarditis i perikarditis su upalne bolesti srca. Prva pogađa srčani mišić, a druga ovojnicu koja okružuje srce

Cjepivo protiv covida-19 na bazi glasničkog RNA povećava rizik upale srčanog mišića i srčane ovojnice, ali je on rijedak i ne dovodi u pitanje korisnost cjepiva, ističe se u sveobuhvatnoj francuskoj studiji objavljenoj u ponedjeljak.

Ova studija koju je proveo Epi-Phare u suradnji sa Zdravstvenim osiguranjem (CNAM) i Agencijom za lijekove (ANSM) obuhvatila je osobe od 12 do 50 godina koje su u Francuskoj bile primljene u bolnicu zbog miokarditisa ili perikarditisa između 15. svibnja i 31. kolovoza, pri čemu je bilo 919 slučajeva miokarditisa i 917 slučajeva perikarditisa.

Miokarditis i perikarditis su upalne bolesti srca. Prva pogađa srčani mišić, a druga ovojnicu koja okružuje srce.

Kao što su već pokazala farmakološka izvješća, rezultati francuske studije potvrdili su da Pfizerovo, a napose Modernino cjepivo povećavaju rizik pojavljivanja ovih bolesti u roku od sedam dana nakon cijepljenja.

Svaki je slučaj uspoređen s kontrolnom skupinom s deset ispitanika koji su bili istih godina, spola i mjesta stanovanja, ali nisu imali miokarditis. Tako se rizik hospitalizacije zbog miokarditisa ili perikarditisa uspoređivao između cijepljenih i necijepljenih u inače sličnim situacijama.

Taj je rizik izraženiji, iako rijedak, kod muškaraca mlađih od 30 godina, napose nakon druge doze Moderne. Tako je cijepljenje potonjim prouzročilo 132 dodatna slučaja miokarditisa na milijun primljenih doza.

Kod žena mlađih od 30 godina, povećan broj slučajeva miokarditisa koji se može pripisati drugoj dozi Modernina cjepiva bio je 37 na milijun doza.

Što se tiče rizika perikarditisa, i on je bio izraženiji nakon Modernina cjepiva kod mlađih od 30 godina, posebno nakon druge doze koja je odgovorna za "suvišak" od 18 slučajeva na milijun doza kod mlađih muškaraca.

Nije prijavljen nijedan smrtni ishod među hospitaliziranima zbog upala srca koje su nastale nakon cijepljenja.

"Ako stavimo na vagu djelotvornost cjepiva protiv teških oblika covida-19 (ocijenjenu oko 90 posto) i postojeći, ali rijedak rizik s pozitivnim ishodom, odnos koristi i rizika cijepljenja nije upitan", ističe za AFP Mahmoud Zureik, ravnatelj Epi-Pharea.

Miokarditis i perikarditis su upalne bolesti srca. Prva pogađa srčani mišić, a druga ovojnicu koja okružuje srce

Cjepivo protiv covida-19 na bazi glasničkog RNA povećava rizik upale srčanog mišića i srčane ovojnice, ali je on rijedak i ne dovodi u pitanje korisnost cjepiva, ističe se u sveobuhvatnoj francuskoj studiji objavljenoj u ponedjeljak.

Ova studija koju je proveo Epi-Phare u suradnji sa Zdravstvenim osiguranjem (CNAM) i Agencijom za lijekove (ANSM) obuhvatila je osobe od 12 do 50 godina koje su u Francuskoj bile primljene u bolnicu zbog miokarditisa ili perikarditisa između 15. svibnja i 31. kolovoza, pri čemu je bilo 919 slučajeva miokarditisa i 917 slučajeva perikarditisa.
