Platforme društvenih mreža pojačale su borbu protiv dezinformacija o američkim izborima: Facebook je pokrenuo centar za pomoć korisnicima s izvorima vezanim uz izbore, a Twitter proširio pravila protiv dezinformacija o poštanskom i ranijem glasanju.

Potez slijedi pošto su društvene mreže postale predmet kritika zbog onoga što je nazvano nemarnim pristupom lažnim vijestima i kampanjama dezinformacija, za koje mnogi vjeruju da su utjecale na ishod izbora 2016.

Twitterov potez uključivat će stvaranje novih pravila "koja naglašavaju točne informacije o svim dostupnim opcijama za glasanje, uključujući poštu i prijevremeno glasanje".

"Usredotočeni smo na osnaživanje svake osobe s pravom glasa da se registrira i glasa kroz partnerstvo, alate i nove politike", napisala je u mailu Reutersu Jessica Herrera-Flanigan, potpredsjednica Twittera za javnu politiku u Amerikama.

Facebook je u međuvremenu pokrenuo Centar za informiranje o glasanju kako bi korisnicima pomogao da daju točne i lako dostupne informacije o glasanju, bez obzira na to gdje žive.

Tvrtka je na svom blogu priopćila kako je također razgovarala s dužnosnicima o dezinformacijama oko rezultata izbora kao prijetećoj opasnosti.

Twitter je objavio da će u sljedećih mjesec dana uvesti mjere za nove alate, politike i resurse za glasovanje. Istražuje kako proširiti svoju "politiku građanskog integriteta" kako bi se pozabavili pogrešnim prikazivanjima glasanja putem pošte i drugih postupaka. Precizni detalji tog poteza još se dovršavaju.

Američki predsjednik Donald Trump više je puta bez dokaza tvrdio da je glasanje poštom, za koje se očekuje da će se zbog pandemije drastično povećati, podložno velikim prijevarama.

Proces nije novost u Sjedinjenim Državama - gotovo svaki četvrti birač na taj je način glasao na izborima 2016. godine.

Mnogi su stručnjaci rekli da je zbog rutinskih metoda i decentraliziranog karaktera američkih izbora otežano utjecati na glasanje poštom.

Platforme društvenih mreža pojačale su borbu protiv dezinformacija o američkim izborima: Facebook je pokrenuo centar za pomoć korisnicima s izvorima vezanim uz izbore, a Twitter proširio pravila protiv dezinformacija o poštanskom i ranijem glasanju.

Potez slijedi pošto su društvene mreže postale predmet kritika zbog onoga što je nazvano nemarnim pristupom lažnim vijestima i kampanjama dezinformacija, za koje mnogi vjeruju da su utjecale na ishod izbora 2016.

Twitterov potez uključivat će stvaranje novih pravila "koja naglašavaju točne informacije o svim dostupnim opcijama za glasanje, uključujući poštu i prijevremeno glasanje".

"Usredotočeni smo na osnaživanje svake osobe s pravom glasa da se registrira i glasa kroz partnerstvo, alate i nove politike", napisala je u mailu Reutersu Jessica Herrera-Flanigan, potpredsjednica Twittera za javnu politiku u Amerikama.

Facebook je u međuvremenu pokrenuo Centar za informiranje o glasanju kako bi korisnicima pomogao da daju točne i lako dostupne informacije o glasanju, bez obzira na to gdje žive.

Tvrtka je na svom blogu priopćila kako je također razgovarala s dužnosnicima o dezinformacijama oko rezultata izbora kao prijetećoj opasnosti.

Twitter je objavio da će u sljedećih mjesec dana uvesti mjere za nove alate, politike i resurse za glasovanje. Istražuje kako proširiti svoju "politiku građanskog integriteta" kako bi se pozabavili pogrešnim prikazivanjima glasanja putem pošte i drugih postupaka. Precizni detalji tog poteza još se dovršavaju.

Američki predsjednik Donald Trump više je puta bez dokaza tvrdio da je glasanje poštom, za koje se očekuje da će se zbog pandemije drastično povećati, podložno velikim prijevarama.

Proces nije novost u Sjedinjenim Državama - gotovo svaki četvrti birač na taj je način glasao na izborima 2016. godine.

Mnogi su stručnjaci rekli da je zbog rutinskih metoda i decentraliziranog karaktera američkih izbora otežano utjecati na glasanje poštom.

Platforme društvenih mreža pojačale su borbu protiv dezinformacija o američkim izborima: Facebook je pokrenuo centar za pomoć korisnicima s izvorima vezanim uz izbore, a Twitter proširio pravila protiv dezinformacija o poštanskom i ranijem glasanju.

Potez slijedi pošto su društvene mreže postale predmet kritika zbog onoga što je nazvano nemarnim pristupom lažnim vijestima i kampanjama dezinformacija, za koje mnogi vjeruju da su utjecale na ishod izbora 2016.

Twitterov potez uključivat će stvaranje novih pravila "koja naglašavaju točne informacije o svim dostupnim opcijama za glasanje, uključujući poštu i prijevremeno glasanje".
