Hladna noć noć u Trstu. Ismail vodi grupu mladih muškaraca u ruševni napušteni silos, iza kolodvora. Tamo će prespavati. S njima je i ekipa Deutsche Welle-a.

Pakistanac Ismail već godinama živi i radu Trstu. Tvrdi kako nikad dosad, u Italiju preko balkanske rute, nije stizalo ovoliko izbjeglica.

- Ovdje trenutno čami 50 ljudi. Neki žele nastaviti prema sjeveru, drugi su podnijeli zahtjev za azil. U prihvatnom centru nema mjesta za sve, pa su neki prisiljeni spavati ovdje. Neki su ovdje proveli i tri mjeseca. Kada je zahladilo, sagradili su si i barake - priča Ismail na tečnom talijanskom.

Među izbjeglicama koji se od hladnoće skrivaju u silosu je i 18-godišnji Amir. On i njegovi prijatelji ovdje su već nekoliko tjedana. Amir je Ismailu ispričao kako su iz Pakistana krenuli prije tri godine. Preko Irana su se dokopali Turske, da bi konačno nakon nekoliko neuspjelih pokušaja stigli do Europe.

- Četrnaest puta su ga vraćali u Turske iz Grčku i pet puta iz Bugarske - priča Ismal.

Amir i prijatelji, u pratnji Ismaila i ekipe Deutsche Welle-a, napuštaju svoje skrovište i odlaze prema Trgu slobode. To je bilo prvo mjesto koje su Amir, Erfad i Husein i Ismail vidjeli kada su stigli u Trst.

- Prije nego što smo stigli u Trst, skoro dva mjeseca smo bili u Srbiji, te zatim oko četiri mjeseca u Bosni. Bilo je jako teško. Cijeli put smo propješačil - prisjećaju se troje mladih muškaraca.

U čitavoj 2021. u Trst je stiglo oko 4000 izbjeglica, a samo u listopadu i studenom 2022. njih oko 5000.

Francesco Cibati i ostali volonteri nevladine udruge "Linea d‘ombra" snabdijevaju ih odjećom, informacijama o njihovim pravima i toplim obrokom.

- Svakog dana, ovisno o situaciji, naručujemo 15 do 40 pečenih pilića. Svakog dana hranimo 30 do 40 osoba, nekada ta brojka dođe i do 120. Rekordan broj imali smo prošloga ljeta, kada je došlo 174 osoba - objašnjava Cibati.

Jasno je kako su Italija i grad Trst slabo angažiraju oko pomoći izbjeglicama.

- Već tri i pol godine svakodnevno dolazimo na gradski trg kako bi im pomogli. Mi smo samo šačica običnih građana Trsta. To samo pokazuje koliko je državne institucije briga za izbjeglice, premda je njihova dužnost osigurati im krov nad glavom. Neki od izbjeglica su zatražili azil i imaju pravo na smještaj. Ali on im nije osiguran - priča Cibati.

U gradskoj vijećnici Trsta odbacuju ove optužbe. Gradonačelnik Roberto Dipiazza tvrdi kako je u svojoj 16-godišnjoj službi puno učinio za izbjeglice. No radi problema oko nadležnosti, plan da se izgradi smještajni objekt za osamdesetak osoba, odbacio je. Briga za izbjeglice očito nije omiljena tema talijanskih političara.

- Ako stvorim smještajne kapacitete za određen broj izbjeglica, doći će ih još. Onda je to problem. Podsjećam da ovo pitanje nije u mojoj nadležnosti, već u nadležnosti regionalne uprave. Ona bi trebala staviti na raspolaganje prazne vojarne i tako osigurati smještaj za ove nesretnike - tvrdi Dipiazza.

Amiru i njegovim prijateljima ne preostaje ništa drugo nego skloniti se od zime između kartonskih kutija i smeća. I čekati da im se konačno osmjehne sreća.

Hladna noć noć u Trstu. Ismail vodi grupu mladih muškaraca u ruševni napušteni silos, iza kolodvora. Tamo će prespavati. S njima je i ekipa Deutsche Welle-a.

Pakistanac Ismail već godinama živi i radu Trstu. Tvrdi kako nikad dosad, u Italiju preko balkanske rute, nije stizalo ovoliko izbjeglica.

- Ovdje trenutno čami 50 ljudi. Neki žele nastaviti prema sjeveru, drugi su podnijeli zahtjev za azil. U prihvatnom centru nema mjesta za sve, pa su neki prisiljeni spavati ovdje. Neki su ovdje proveli i tri mjeseca. Kada je zahladilo, sagradili su si i barake - priča Ismail na tečnom talijanskom.

Među izbjeglicama koji se od hladnoće skrivaju u silosu je i 18-godišnji Amir. On i njegovi prijatelji ovdje su već nekoliko tjedana. Amir je Ismailu ispričao kako su iz Pakistana krenuli prije tri godine. Preko Irana su se dokopali Turske, da bi konačno nakon nekoliko neuspjelih pokušaja stigli do Europe.

- Četrnaest puta su ga vraćali u Turske iz Grčku i pet puta iz Bugarske - priča Ismal.

Amir i prijatelji, u pratnji Ismaila i ekipe Deutsche Welle-a, napuštaju svoje skrovište i odlaze prema Trgu slobode. To je bilo prvo mjesto koje su Amir, Erfad i Husein i Ismail vidjeli kada su stigli u Trst.

- Prije nego što smo stigli u Trst, skoro dva mjeseca smo bili u Srbiji, te zatim oko četiri mjeseca u Bosni. Bilo je jako teško. Cijeli put smo propješačil - prisjećaju se troje mladih muškaraca.

U čitavoj 2021. u Trst je stiglo oko 4000 izbjeglica, a samo u listopadu i studenom 2022. njih oko 5000.

Francesco Cibati i ostali volonteri nevladine udruge "Linea d‘ombra" snabdijevaju ih odjećom, informacijama o njihovim pravima i toplim obrokom.

- Svakog dana, ovisno o situaciji, naručujemo 15 do 40 pečenih pilića. Svakog dana hranimo 30 do 40 osoba, nekada ta brojka dođe i do 120. Rekordan broj imali smo prošloga ljeta, kada je došlo 174 osoba - objašnjava Cibati.

Jasno je kako su Italija i grad Trst slabo angažiraju oko pomoći izbjeglicama.

- Već tri i pol godine svakodnevno dolazimo na gradski trg kako bi im pomogli. Mi smo samo šačica običnih građana Trsta. To samo pokazuje koliko je državne institucije briga za izbjeglice, premda je njihova dužnost osigurati im krov nad glavom. Neki od izbjeglica su zatražili azil i imaju pravo na smještaj. Ali on im nije osiguran - priča Cibati.

U gradskoj vijećnici Trsta odbacuju ove optužbe. Gradonačelnik Roberto Dipiazza tvrdi kako je u svojoj 16-godišnjoj službi puno učinio za izbjeglice. No radi problema oko nadležnosti, plan da se izgradi smještajni objekt za osamdesetak osoba, odbacio je. Briga za izbjeglice očito nije omiljena tema talijanskih političara.

- Ako stvorim smještajne kapacitete za određen broj izbjeglica, doći će ih još. Onda je to problem. Podsjećam da ovo pitanje nije u mojoj nadležnosti, već u nadležnosti regionalne uprave. Ona bi trebala staviti na raspolaganje prazne vojarne i tako osigurati smještaj za ove nesretnike - tvrdi Dipiazza.

Amiru i njegovim prijateljima ne preostaje ništa drugo nego skloniti se od zime između kartonskih kutija i smeća. I čekati da im se konačno osmjehne sreća.

Hladna noć noć u Trstu. Ismail vodi grupu mladih muškaraca u ruševni napušteni silos, iza kolodvora. Tamo će prespavati. S njima je i ekipa Deutsche Welle-a.

Pakistanac Ismail već godinama živi i radu Trstu. Tvrdi kako nikad dosad, u Italiju preko balkanske rute, nije stizalo ovoliko izbjeglica.

- Ovdje trenutno čami 50 ljudi. Neki žele nastaviti prema sjeveru, drugi su podnijeli zahtjev za azil. U prihvatnom centru nema mjesta za sve, pa su neki prisiljeni spavati ovdje. Neki su ovdje proveli i tri mjeseca. Kada je zahladilo, sagradili su si i barake - priča Ismail na tečnom talijanskom.

Među izbjeglicama koji se od hladnoće skrivaju u silosu je i 18-godišnji Amir. On i njegovi prijatelji ovdje su već nekoliko tjedana. Amir je Ismailu ispričao kako su iz Pakistana krenu...
