Cjepivo protiv koronavirusa koje je razvio njemački laboratorij CureVac učinkovito je samo 48 posto u sprečavanju covida-19, što je puno niži postotak od drugih dosad odobrenih mRNA cjepiva, pokazuju kompletni rezultati velikog kliničkog ispitivanja.

Kod sudionika ispitivanja, kandidat za cjepivo te farmaceutske kompanije, CVnCoV, pokazao je globalnu učinkovitost od 48 posto, objavila je tvrtka u priopćenju, što nesigurnom čini budućnost tog proizvoda koji već ima dosta narudžbi širom EU-a.

Objavljeni u srijedu navečer, ti konačni rezultati velikog kliničkog ispitivanja bili su možda i predvidljivi nakon preliminarnih rezultata objavljenih polovicom lipnja koji su bile razočaravajući.

CureVac, koji je proveo studiju na oko 40.000 ljudi u Europi i Latinskoj Americi, primjećuje da je njegov proizvod nešto bolji kod dobne skupine ispod 60 godina, gdje mu je učinkovitost 53 posto.

Unatoč takvim rezultatima, CureVac je uvjeren da će njegov kandidat za cjepivo "donijeti vrijedni doprinos javnom zdravlju", posebno kod onih u dobi od 18 do 60 godina, rekao je direktor Franz-Werner Haas u priopćenju.

Kompanija je priopćila i da je svoje podatke poslala Europskoj agenciji za lijekove (EMA) kao dio tekućih procedura u vezi s odobrenjem.

Ispitivanja u kasnoj fazi cjepiva BioNtech/Pfizer i Moderna imala su stope efikasnosti i iznad 90 posto u svim skupinama, ali su se odvijala kada je dominirala originalna varijanta korona virusa.

Podaci o njihovim cjepivima do sada sugeriraju da ona pružaju samo nešto slabiju zaštitu od novih varijanti koronavirusa.

EMA je ranije rekla da neće nametati prag efikasnosti od 50 posto za cjepiva protiv covida-19 i da su joj neophodni potpuni podaci o ispitivanjima da bi se napravila procjena koristi i rizika u njihovoj primjeni.

Cjepivo protiv koronavirusa koje je razvio njemački laboratorij CureVac učinkovito je samo 48 posto u sprečavanju covida-19, što je puno niži postotak od drugih dosad odobrenih mRNA cjepiva, pokazuju kompletni rezultati velikog kliničkog ispitivanja.

Kod sudionika ispitivanja, kandidat za cjepivo te farmaceutske kompanije, CVnCoV, pokazao je globalnu učinkovitost od 48 posto, objavila je tvrtka u priopćenju, što nesigurnom čini budućnost tog proizvoda koji već ima dosta narudžbi širom EU-a.

Objavljeni u srijedu navečer, ti konačni rezultati velikog kliničkog ispitivanja bili su možda i predvidljivi nakon preliminarnih rezultata objavljenih polovicom lipnja koji su bile razočaravajući.

CureVac, koji je proveo studiju na oko 40.000 ljudi u Europi i Latinskoj Americi, primjećuje da je njegov proizvod nešto bolji kod dobne skupine ispod 60 godina, gdje mu je učinkovitost 53 posto.

Unatoč takvim rezultatima, CureVac je uvjeren da će njegov kandidat za cjepivo "donijeti vrijedni doprinos javnom zdravlju", posebno kod onih u dobi od 18 do 60 godina, rekao je direktor Franz-Werner Haas u priopćenju.

Kompanija je priopćila i da je svoje podatke poslala Europskoj agenciji za lijekove (EMA) kao dio tekućih procedura u vezi s odobrenjem.

Ispitivanja u kasnoj fazi cjepiva BioNtech/Pfizer i Moderna imala su stope efikasnosti i iznad 90 posto u svim skupinama, ali su se odvijala kada je dominirala originalna varijanta korona virusa.

Podaci o njihovim cjepivima do sada sugeriraju da ona pružaju samo nešto slabiju zaštitu od novih varijanti koronavirusa.

EMA je ranije rekla da neće nametati prag efikasnosti od 50 posto za cjepiva protiv covida-19 i da su joj neophodni potpuni podaci o ispitivanjima da bi se napravila procjena koristi i rizika u njihovoj primjeni.

Nijemci podbacili: cjepivo CureVac učinkovito u samo 48 posto slučajeva, upitne brojne narudžbe širom Europske unije

Cjepivo protiv koronavirusa koje je razvio njemački laboratorij CureVac učinkovito je samo 48 posto u sprečavanju covida-19, što je puno niži postotak od drugih dosad odobrenih mRNA cjepiva, pokazuju kompletni rezultati velikog kliničkog ispitivanja.

Kod sudionika ispitivanja, kandidat za cjepivo te farmaceutske kompanije, CVnCoV, pokazao je globalnu učinkovitost od 48 posto, objavila je tvrtka u priopćenju, što nesigurnom čini budućnost tog proizvoda koji već ima dosta narudžbi širom EU-a.

Objavljeni u srijedu navečer, ti konačni rezultati velikog kliničkog ispitivanja bili su možda i predvidljivi nakon preliminarnih rezultata objavljenih polovicom lipnja koji su bile razočaravajući.
