Najmanje 10.000 mađarskih učenika, učitelja i roditelja u srijedu je blokiralo most u Budimpešti prije nego što su se okupili na trgu ispred parlamenta, u znak podrške učiteljima koji se bore za veće plaće i onima koji su dobili otkaz zbog prosvjeda.

Učitelji su pokrenuli kampanju pod nazivom "Želim podučavati" te su pozvali na građanski neposluh u svrhu povećanja plaća.

Skup u srijedu počeo je kad su učenici formirali lanac koji se protezao nekoliko kilometara kroz  Budimpeštu i od jutra se pretvorio u najveći protuvladin prosvjed otkad je nacionalistički premijer Viktor Orban ponovno osvojio izbore u travnju.

Prosvjednici koji su nosili transparente na kojima je pisalo "Nemojte otpustiti naše učitelje" i "Ako želite zaviriti u budućnost, pogledajte škole sadašnjosti", zaposjeli su most u Budimpešti blizu parlamenta, blokiravši promet.

"Znam puno stvarno ‘cool‘ i sjajnih učitelja koji ne dobivaju dovoljno novca za svoj rad i ljubav koju ulažu u svoju profesiju", rekla je Lujza Lukacs, 14-godišnja učenica koja je sudjelovala na prosvjedu, a koja je krenula u srednju školu prošli mjesec.

Sindikati su pozvali na nacionalni štrajk učitelja u srijedu. Nakon nacionalnog štrajka učitelja u siječnju 2022., vlada je ograničila pravo na prosvjede.

Prošli tjedan, nekoliko učitelja je izgubilo posao u srednjim školama u Budimpešti zbog sudjelovanja na prosvjedu.

"To je potpuno nepotrebno i apsurdno", rekao je Andras Farkas, još jedan učenik koji je sudjelovao u prosvjedu, kritizirajući Orbana, koji je studirao političku filozofiju na Oxfordu, zbog ignoriranja "poziva upomoć" učitelja.

Orban, koji od 3. travnja služi svoj četvrti mandat zaredom, suočava se s rastućim izazovom zbog loših ekonomskih pokazatelja.
Vlada je rekla da će učiteljima povećati plaće u trenutku kad Europska komisija otključa EU fond za oporavak namijenjen Mađarskoj koji je u zastoju zbog trajanja prijepora o vladavini prava.

Predsjednik parlamenta Laszlo Kover, viši član Orbanove vladajuće stranke Fidesz, rekao je u ponedjeljak HirTV-u da plaće učitelja zaostaju za prosječnim primanjima, no da prosvjed nije način kojim će se postići rješenje.

"Siguran sam da štrajk neće pomoći... kao što svatko zna da razina plaće nikako nije povezana s kvalitetom poučavanja u kratkom razdoblju", rekao je Kover.

Najmanje 10.000 mađarskih učenika, učitelja i roditelja u srijedu je blokiralo most u Budimpešti prije nego što su se okupili na trgu ispred parlamenta, u znak podrške učiteljima koji se bore za veće plaće i onima koji su dobili otkaz zbog prosvjeda.

Učitelji su pokrenuli kampanju pod nazivom "Želim podučavati" te su pozvali na građanski neposluh u svrhu povećanja plaća.

Skup u srijedu počeo je kad su učenici formirali lanac koji se protezao nekoliko kilometara kroz  Budimpeštu i od jutra se pretvorio u najveći protuvladin prosvjed otkad je nacionalistički premijer Viktor Orban ponovno osvojio izbore u travnju.

Prosvjednici koji su nosili transparente na kojima je pisalo "Nemojte otpustiti naše učitelje" i "Ako želite zaviriti u budućnost, pogledajte škole sadašnjosti", zaposjeli su most u Budimpešti blizu parlamenta, blokiravši promet.

"Znam puno stvarno ‘cool‘ i sjajnih učitelja koji ne dobivaju dovoljno novca za svoj rad i ljubav koju ulažu u svoju profesiju", rekla je Lujza Lukacs, 14-godišnja učenica koja je sudjelovala na prosvjedu, a koja je krenula u srednju školu prošli mjesec.

Sindikati su pozvali na nacionalni štrajk učitelja u srijedu. Nakon nacionalnog štrajka učitelja u siječnju 2022., vlada je ograničila pravo na prosvjede.

Prošli tjedan, nekoliko učitelja je izgubilo posao u srednjim školama u Budimpešti zbog sudjelovanja na prosvjedu.

"To je potpuno nepotrebno i apsurdno", rekao je Andras Farkas, još jedan učenik koji je sudjelovao u prosvjedu, kritizirajući Orbana, koji je studirao političku filozofiju na Oxfordu, zbog ignoriranja "poziva upomoć" učitelja.

Orban, koji od 3. travnja služi svoj četvrti mandat zaredom, suočava se s rastućim izazovom zbog loših ekonomskih pokazatelja.
Vlada je rekla da će učiteljima povećati plaće u trenutku kad Europska komisija otključa EU fond za oporavak namijenjen Mađarskoj koji je u zastoju zbog trajanja prijepora o vladavini prava.

Predsjednik parlamenta Laszlo Kover, viši član Orbanove vladajuće stranke Fidesz, rekao je u ponedjeljak HirTV-u da plaće učitelja zaostaju za prosječnim primanjima, no da prosvjed nije način kojim će se postići rješenje.

"Siguran sam da štrajk neće pomoći... kao što svatko zna da razina plaće nikako nije povezana s kvalitetom poučavanja u kratkom razdoblju", rekao je Kover.
