Europska komisija u četvrtak je predstavila nove prijedloge prema kojima bi se milijuni radnika za tvrtke poput Ubera i Wolta mogli reklasificirati u zaposlenike, a ne u freelancere tj. 'partnere'. 'Platformski radnici zaslužuju istu razinu zaštite kao i svi u Europskoj uniji prema našem socijalnom modelu', rekao je potpredsjednik Europske komisije Valdis Dombrovksis na konferenciji za novinare u Bruxellesu.

Oko 28 milijuna ljudi trenutno radi za digitalne radne platforme u cijelom EU bloku, a očekuje se da će, do 2025. godine, još 15 milijuna ljudi pristići u ovaj sektor. Prijedlozi koji bi mogli rezultirati osiguravanjem osnovnih radničkih prava za ogromni broj ljudi, bi značio beneficije kao što su doprinosi, regres, roditeljski dopust i povećanu sigurnost posla.

Zakon zahtijeva potporu 27 država članica EU-a i Europskog parlamenta prije nego što se provede. Također se traže veće zaštitne mjere i transparentnost u korištenju algoritama koji donose upravljačke odluke na takvim platformama, uključujući pravo na njihovo osporavanje i bolji pristup njihovom radu.

S više od 500 radnih platformi koje su sada aktivne na europskom tržištu, prema Europskoj komisiji, posljednjih godina porasla je zabrinutost zbog nesigurnog statusa mnogih radnika. Uber je bio žestoko kritiziran tijekom pandemije jer su mnogi vozači ostali bez posla. Došlo je do široko rasprostranjenih demonstracija protiv aplikacije za vožnju dok su radnici zahtijevali podizanje razine svojih prava.

Europska komisija u četvrtak je predstavila nove prijedloge prema kojima bi se milijuni radnika za tvrtke poput Ubera i Wolta mogli reklasificirati u zaposlenike, a ne u freelancere tj. 'partnere'. 'Platformski radnici zaslužuju istu razinu zaštite kao i svi u Europskoj uniji prema našem socijalnom modelu', rekao je potpredsjednik Europske komisije Valdis Dombrovksis na konferenciji za novinare u Bruxellesu.

Oko 28 milijuna ljudi trenutno radi za digitalne radne platforme u cijelom EU bloku, a očekuje se da će, do 2025. godine, još 15 milijuna ljudi pristići u ovaj sektor. Prijedlozi koji bi mogli rezultirati osiguravanjem osnovnih radničkih prava za ogromni broj ljudi, bi značio beneficije kao što su doprinosi, regres, roditeljski dopust i povećanu sigurnost posla.

Zakon zahtijeva potporu 27 država članica EU-a i Europskog parlamenta prije nego što se provede. Također se traže veće zaštitne mjere i transparentnost u korištenju algoritama koji donose upravljačke odluke na takvim platformama, uključujući pravo na njihovo osporavanje i bolji pristup njihovom radu.

S više od 500 radnih platformi koje su sada aktivne na europskom tržištu, prema Europskoj komisiji, posljednjih godina porasla je zabrinutost zbog nesigurnog statusa mnogih radnika. Uber je bio žestoko kritiziran tijekom pandemije jer su mnogi vozači ostali bez posla. Došlo je do široko rasprostranjenih demonstracija protiv aplikacije za vožnju dok su radnici zahtijevali podizanje razine svojih prava.

Europska komisija u četvrtak je predstavila nove prijedloge prema kojima bi se milijuni radnika za tvrtke poput Ubera i Wolta mogli reklasificirati u zaposlenike, a ne u freelancere tj. 'partnere'. 'Platformski radnici zaslužuju istu razinu zaštite kao i svi u Europskoj uniji prema našem socijalnom modelu', rekao je potpredsjednik Europske komisije Valdis Dombrovksis na konferenciji za novinare u Bruxellesu.

Oko 28 milijuna ljudi trenutno radi za digitalne radne platforme u cijelom EU bloku, a očekuje se da će, do 2025. godine, još 15 milijuna ljudi pristići u ovaj sektor. Prijedlozi koji bi mogli rezultirati osiguravanjem osnovnih radničkih prava za ogromni broj ljudi, bi značio beneficije kao što su doprinosi, regres, roditeljski dopust i povećanu sigurnost posla.
