Prevare na internetu, kao i na drugim područjima ljudskog djelovanja, postoje od samih početaka. Ipak, posljednjih godina one su sve češće, kako u Hrvatskoj, tako i u svijetu.
Međunarodna istraga The Guardiana, Die Zeita i Le Mondea otkrila je nevjerojatnu prevaru koja traje još od 2015. godine i uključuje čak oko 76 tisuća lažnih web stranica i online trgovina iz Kine.
Putem tih stranica, koje su bile dostupne na raznim jezicima, prodavala se odjeća i obuća premium brendova poput Hugo Bossa, Versacea, Prade, Diora i drugih, a sve po puno nižim cijenama u odnosu na prodajne. Sama činjenica da su te stranice bile prilično nepoznate te da je popust bio velik, dovoljan je razlog za oprez, ali mnogi su, privučeni dobrim cijenama, na to nasjeli, piše Hrvoje Jurman za Zimo.

Na takvu prevaru do sada je nasjelo više od 800 tisuća ljudi koji su s lažnim stranicama podijelili svoje mailove, ali više od 475 tisuća osoba podijelilo je i puno važnije podatke - od onih osobnih s imenima, prezimenima i adresama pa do bankovnih podataka koji uključuju broj kartice i troznamenkasti sigurnosni broj. Samo u posljednje tri godine, objavljeno je na The Guardianu, obrađeno je više od milijun lažnih narudžbi čija bi vrijednost trebala iznositi čak 50 milijuna eura, no sve te narudžbe ipak nisu naplaćene,.
U nekim slučajevima su banke stopirale transakcije, dok često niti same trgovine nisu obradile uplate. Oni kojima su uplate ipak prošle, većinom nisu dobili naručene proizvode ili su dobili neke druge, jeftine stvari koje uopće nisu naručili.

U takvim prevarama više je razina problema. Prva je financijski gubitak jer su kupci naručili i platili proizvode koje nisu dobili. Drugi problem može biti puno veći - predali su svoje osobne podatke kriminalcima i prevarantima koji mogu pokušati isprazniti njihove račune ili ih prodati na crnom tržištu, što znači da će onda biti dostupni i drugim kriminalcima koji će ih pokušati iskoristiti za brojne financijske i druge prijevare.

Zanimljivo je, kako je upozorio konzultant SR Labsa Matthias Marx, da je skupina programera prevaranata dopustila i drugima da se koriste tim sustavom uz plaćanje franšize.
Također, za hosting su koristili stare domene svojih lažnih internetskih trgovina ili domene koje se više ne koriste, a prije su bile u vlasništvu drugih kompanija, što sve otežava njihovu otkrivanje. Prema podacima istrage, čini se kako je ova prevarantska mreža nastala u kineskoj pokrajini Fujian, a nakon što su ove informacije izašle u javnost, pokušat će se ukloniti takve lažne web-trgovine kakvih i danas ima više od 22.500, piše Zimo.
Dok institucije rade svoj posao, na nama je da se zaštitimo, dobro promišljajući o tome gdje kupujemo, i uz kakav stupanj sigurnosti.

Prevare na internetu, kao i na drugim područjima ljudskog djelovanja, postoje od samih početaka. Ipak, posljednjih godina one su sve češće, kako u Hrvatskoj, tako i u svijetu.
Međunarodna istraga The Guardiana, Die Zeita i Le Mondea otkrila je nevjerojatnu prevaru koja traje još od 2015. godine i uključuje čak oko 76 tisuća lažnih web stranica i online trgovina iz Kine.
Putem tih stranica, koje su bile dostupne na raznim jezicima, prodavala se odjeća i obuća premium brendova poput Hugo Bossa, Versacea, Prade, Diora i drugih, a sve po puno nižim cijenama u odnosu na prodajne. Sama činjenica da su te stranice bile prilično nepoznate te da je popust bio velik, dovoljan je razlog za oprez, ali mnogi su, privučeni dobrim cijenama, na to nasjeli, piše Hrvoje Jurman za Zimo.

Na takvu prevaru do sada je nasjelo više od 800 tisuća ljudi koji su s lažnim stranicama podijelili svoje mailove, ali više od 475 tisuća osoba podijelilo je i puno važnije podatke - od onih osobnih s imenima, prezimenima i adresama pa do bankovnih podataka koji uključuju broj kartice i troznamenkasti sigurnosni broj. Samo u posljednje tri godine, objavljeno je na The Guardianu, obrađeno je više od milijun lažnih narudžbi čija bi vrijednost trebala iznositi čak 50 milijuna eura, no sve te narudžbe ipak nisu naplaćene,.
U nekim slučajevima su banke stopirale transakcije, dok često niti same trgovine nisu obradile uplate. Oni kojima su uplate ipak prošle, većinom nisu dobili naručene proizvode ili su dobili neke druge, jeftine stvari koje uopće nisu naručili.

U takvim prevarama više je razina problema. Prva je financijski gubitak jer su kupci naručili i platili proizvode koje nisu dobili. Drugi problem može biti puno veći - predali su svoje osobne podatke kriminalcima i prevarantima koji mogu pokušati isprazniti njihove račune ili ih prodati na crnom tržištu, što znači da će onda biti dostupni i drugim kriminalcima koji će ih pokušati iskoristiti za brojne financijske i druge prijevare.

Zanimljivo je, kako je upozorio konzultant SR Labsa Matthias Marx, da je skupina programera prevaranata dopustila i drugima da se koriste tim sustavom uz plaćanje franšize.
Također, za hosting su koristili stare domene svojih lažnih internetskih trgovina ili domene koje se više ne koriste, a prije su bile u vlasništvu drugih kompanija, što sve otežava njihovu otkrivanje. Prema podacima istrage, čini se kako je ova prevarantska mreža nastala u kineskoj pokrajini Fujian, a nakon što su ove informacije izašle u javnost, pokušat će se ukloniti takve lažne web-trgovine kakvih i danas ima više od 22.500, piše Zimo.
Dok institucije rade svoj posao, na nama je da se zaštitimo, dobro promišljajući o tome gdje kupujemo, i uz kakav stupanj sigurnosti.
